Arjun here was standing infront of a blue lake at night. He hadn't moved from that time. He was just staring.
He took out his phone and dialled a number.
Here a man was sitting with his 2-year-old daughter trying to feed her when his phone rang.
he reached out to his phone and looked at the screen. his senses stopped working.
"rawte?" he said shocked.

He took a deep breath and accepted the call.
"sameer?" he heard a faint call,a broken ...pain-infested sound.
"rawt...arjun?" he corrected himself.
"aaj maine use dekha..." arjun said in a cracked voice.
Sameer shut his eyes. He breathed heavily.
"sameer..i am sorry...itne saal se tumhe dukh ke alaawa kuch aur nahin diya tumhe..m sorry.." said arjun and he broke down.
Sameer's eyes welled up...he was speaking to his friend,his best friend after wat...6 years? Even after he ahd avenged roshni's death Arjun didn't grant him a stare. Sameer looked up closing his eyes.
"arjun..mujhe bhi sorry kehna..maine tumhe galat samjha...m sorry yaar.." sameer said and cried.
Both the friends regained their lost treasure of friendship. They spoke for hours apologizing.
"beti kaisi hain? Aur aisha?" arjun asked.
"sab teek hain...tumhe miss karte hain hum..kya waapis nahin aaoge?" sameer asked.
"nahin sameer..meri duniya ab yahan hain..jitne bhi saal jiyeunga sirf apne uncle ke liye..unhone mere family ka bohut accha khayal rakha hain.." arjun said.
"toh kaise thi woh?" sameer asked nervously fearing that talking about saakshi might upset him.
"waise hi..bohut khoobsurat" arjun said with a smile.
Sameer smiled at Arjun's answer.
"baat kiya us se?" sameer asked.
"nahin..kabhi nahin karoonga" arjun said.
"tumne aaj tak kahan ki tumhara ETF chodna..tumhara Mumbai chodna..sab isiliye tha kyunki tumhe roshni ke mauth ka badla le liya..mujhe nahin lagtha ki ye poora sach hain.." sameer said.
Arjun stayed mum.
"woh tumse bohut pyaar karti hain arjun" sameer said.
"jaantha hoon" arjun said and cut the call.
"par ab woh kisi aur ki hain" Arjun said to himself. A lone tear escaped his eyes.
Sameer looked back sadly at his daughter. He saw Aisha standing there with tears in her eyes. Sameer looked at her and smiled. Aisha ran towards him and hugged him tightly.
"aakhir tum dono phir se dost ban hi gaye..." she said and she pulled him closer.
"haan jaan.." he said and kissed her forehead and started thinking about what the circumstances will be, now that Arjun had met Saakshi.
Saakshi lay down next to Anu. Anu hugged her.
"saakshi do u wanna talk abt it?" anu asked tenderly,like an elder sister.
"anu..i love him..i just cannot forget him...i know we both are not meant to be then why do i keep bumping into him always? Why? Bhagwaan se meri sirf itni shikhayat hain.." she cried and hugged anu.
"saakshi..." anu said crying. she could never see her childhood best friend in pain.
"saakshi..how do u know that you both are not meant to be? U just cannot assume things saakshi...i think he loves you" anu said smiling.
Saakshi looked up clueless.
"no.." she said getting up.
"come on saakshi...i too fell in love..i know how it is..i know the Karan looks at me..i saw Arjun looking at you..his eyes were filled with just one thing..love..woh tumse pyaar karta hain..." anu said and moved towards saakshi.
"i think you should give it a go" anu said holding saakshi's shoulders.
"u think so?" saakshi asked unsure.
"i definitely think so..aise haar maan na...nahin saakshi..jo bhi hoga dekha jayega..par tumhe ek baar toh try karna hain.." anu said.
Saakshi gazed outside the window.
"i'll think about it" saakshi said.
Anu smiled at Saakshi. "ab so jaye? Agar tumhe yaad hain..toh meri shaadi abhi hui nahin hain aur madam kal bohut kaam hain" anu said laughing.
"anu..."
"hmm?"
"m sorry"
"kyun saakshi?" anu asked confused.
"for spoiling your sangeet today"
"hey bhagwaan...!" anu screamed.
"kya hua?" saakshi ran towards her.
"tu meri dost hain.meri best friend..! agar main nahin rahungi tere saath aise samay main toh who else will be there?" anu said.
"anu thank u sooo much!!" saakshi said.
"chalo so jate hain" anu said and dozed off.
Saakshi went and opened her bag. She removed a photo. It was an ETF photo but it was cut. It showed only Arjun and Saakshi. This crazy girl had cut the others off the photo.
She looked at it dearly and said "i'll try..for the last time"
Arjun fell on his bed and stared at the ceiling wall. he reached out his hand to open the drawer and pulled out a photo. It was the same as Saakshi's ! It too had Arjun and saakshi. He traced his hand over her face.
Saakshi felt like he was near her,like he was touching her...
Some people do fall deeply in love. Love that cannot fade with time,love that doesn't leave with ease,love that remains and succeeds the test of time,love that lives on ...eternally.
