"Jai Hind Sir...aapke saath yeh aakhri mulaqat mujhe humesha yaad rahegi..." Qasim said and walked out.
Sameer looked at Qasim's retreating figure and wondered what he meant by aakhri mulaqat?
Only few seconds later, Sameer found a pistol lying down.
"Did Qasim drop it? Or someone else forgot it? Empty or loaded?" Sameer thought.
Though he had no strength left inside him, but he was in no mood to give up.
Before he could think of anything else, he heard gun shots outside. Suddenly, Sikandar and his men entered his chamber,
"Kya samjha tu? Yeh Qasim, teri madad karega, aur humein pata bhi nahi lagega? Sab pata hai humein...seedhe seedhe bol de ki isne tujhe kya bataya...kaun tha woh..." Sikandar spoke up.
"Mujhe kuch nahi pata Sikandar..." Sameer replied, and closed his eyes, enacting as if unconscious.
"Kya huya isse?" Sikandar asked his men.
"Lagta hai behosh ho gaya hai...khaata bhi kuch nahi..." replied one man.
Sikandar and his men left. As soon as they left, Sameer opened his eyes,
"Ab yehi pistol mere bahaar jaane mein madad karegi..."
Meanwhile,
"Mein, Aayesha aur kuch back up force ik team mein...Chotu, Arjun aur baaki back up force ik team mein rahegi...Liza tum medical service ke saath ready rahogi...Shree tum yahin ETF Office se humein support provide karoge...and Miss Anand, u will stay here, in ETF Office itself...Am I Clear?" Vikas asked ETF Team.
Everyone nodded in +ve. ETF team changed into their encounter gears, those navy-blue, ETF logo bearing gears and bullet proof jackets, while Vikas wore a bullet proof jacket.
"Move...and yeah, humare liye Sameer ko bachana jyaada zaruri hai...par agar Sikandar aur uske aadmi raaste mein aaye...toh unhe bhi maar dena..." Vikas spoke up, as the team moved out of the conference room, but Mr.Rawte had some other intentions.
As they walked towards the exit, Aayesha's gaze fell on the Ganpati idol placed in a cabin. For few seconds she stood there, closed her eyes, and prayed for Sameer's well being,
"Bas woh theek ho bappa...unki salamati ke alawa mujhe aur kuch nahi chahiye..."
Somewhere else,
"Iss Rathore ko Dubai le jaane ki taiyaari karo...jald se jald humein Mumbai se nikalna hai...samjhe? Aur iss Qasim ki laash ko bhi thikane lagao..." Sikandar ordered his men.
They nodded in +ve and left to prepare for arrangements.
Meanwhile,
Sameer moved himself a bit forward, trying to get hold of the pistol using his feet.
"Damn it..." he uttered.
Suddenly, he looked towards the hook and chains, with which his hands were tied. They were coming out!
He felt a bit relaxed...there was still some hope of him getting out!
He moved forward with all remaining strength inside him, although there was no strength left inside him.
Suddenly, the hooks were out! Magic? he wondered.
He had to get out from this place, fight with Sikandar's men, and maybe Sikandar himself.
"Par yeh jagah...yeh kaunsi jagah hai..." he wondered.
He immediately picked up the pistol, and walked towards the door. He sneaked from behind the door.
"Sirf 2 log? Yeh Sikandar ko itna trust hai apne aadmiyon pe ki sirf 2 log hai bahaar? Matlab usse lagta hai ki mein yahaan se bahaar nahi jaa paunga...par mera naam bhi Sameer Damsingh Rathore hai...bahaar toh mein nikal ke hi rahunga..." a determined and confident him thought.
But how?
He sneaked out once more.
"I have to take the chance...now or never..." he thought.
The two guys outside were standing in the right, busy talking. Sameer stepped out of the room. They saw him.
And before they could shoot him, he kicked their guns, got hold of one of the guns, and hit their forehead with the butt of the gun.
He, with some difficulty, took one of the guys inside the chamber. He inspected his clothes, in case he gets a mobile...to contact his team.
He found one! He took off that guy's clothes, and wore them, taking along that phone, pistol and gun.
He walked downstairs, when suddenly,
"Arey Ahmed...tu kahaan jaa raha hai?" someone asked him.
Sameer's breathe was stuck somewhere, "Woh...woh mereko hoke aana hai..." he replied.
The guy laughed, "Acha acha...jaldi ho aa..." he said and walked away.
Sameer saw a ladder going up. He walked towards the ladder, and looked around.
"This looks like internal of a ship...kahin yeh koi ship toh nahi?" he thought.
He climbed up the stairs. As soon as he came out, he realized that he was captured inside a big...a very huge ship, which was surrounded by water on all sides, and a similar ship, a lil farther.
What if he jumps inside the water?
He looked around and found a poly bag. Something to keep the phone safe! He turned off the phone and put it inside the poly bag. He placed the poly bag inside the pocket of his kurta.
"Jo bhi hoga dekha jayega..." he thought.
Silently and silently, he went inside the water body. He didn't knew in what direction he was supposed to go, to reach the shores, but he had to go.
He slowly and as silently as he could, started swimming.
"Kahin na kahin toh pahunch hi jaunga...shores par na pahuncha toh tere paas pahunch jaunga bhagwan..."
He kept on swimming, until he was nearly 1 km far from the ships. He stopped to catch his breathe, and drank a lil amount of the saline water.
He very well knew, that maybe till now, or within few time, Sikandar's men would come to know about him escaping away from their hold.
So there was no stoppage, until he reached the shores...
And he again started his journey, taking stops in between. Though the water touching his bruised skin, caused him a lot of pain, but still...he was determined to reach the shore.
After a long journey, Sameer realized that he was few metres away from the shores.
"Few more metres Sameer...just few more metres, agar itne kilometres ki doori tay karli...toh yeh toh kuch bhi nahi..."
And a few minutes later, he reached the shores. He came out and fell down on the sand, trying to get hold of his breathe and calm his fast beating heart. A few minutes later, Sameer took out the poly bag containing the phone. He took out the phone, which was luckily not drenched.
Whom should he contact? Rawte? Aayesha? Or Vikas? But the first thing he was supposed to do, was to get away from this place too, after all Sikandar would have sended his men behind him.
He went inside the jungle, and followed the path.
What if I contact Khanna sir? He immediately dialled Khanna's number.
Meanwhile,
DCP Khanna was busy driving the SUV, when his phone buzzed.
"Aayesha, mera phone uthao..."
Aayesha picked up his phone and informed him that it was some unknown number.
"Pick up, aur phone speaker par daalo..."
"Khanna Sir...mein Sameer bol raha hunn..." came the voice from the other side.
And the SUV came to a sudden halt. All the vehicles following the SUV behind stopped too.
"Kahaan ho tum iss waqt Sameer?" he asked.
"Mujhe nahi pata...shores...jungle...I don't know..." Sameer replied.
"Theek hai...tum unn janglon se bahar niklo...we will trace you out..." Vikas replied.
And suddenly, the line went dead...
