Chapter 6
Arnav was waiting for his secretary to gets some files, he gets up from his seat and walks in his secretary's cabin.
Arnav: (angrily) ek file lane mein tumhe kitna time lagta hai god damn it!
The seat's back was facing Arnav, as the seat faces him, to his surprise it was Khushi sitting on his secretary's seat, smiling at him, Arnav just looks at her, his secretary walks in, all tensed and scared, he looks at her and thn at Khushi.
Arnav: (annoyed) What the, Khushi tum iss cabin mein, secretary ki seat pe kya kar rahi ho?
Khu: aare, hum abhi bhi apki secretary hai, apne hum naukri se nikala thodi hai? agar naukri se nikala hota toh muje mera istifa de dete, lekin aap toh muje mera istifa dena hi nahi chahte,matlab main aaj bhi secretary hu, (looks at the secretary) kyu? Sahi kaha na humne?
Arnav: Trying to act smart ha? Tume lagta hai tum ye sab karogi aur apna resignation letter le logi?
Khu: (challenging tone) nahi Arnavji, hum kuch nahi karege, aap khud hume humara istifa de denge, khud kahenge iss company se jane k liye, ( Arnav didn't know what to say, He looks at her and walks in his cabin)

Rey splashes water on his face, he could still feel the touch on his hand, after one year he felt her touch, how he wished he could see her, he closes his eyes and remembers Taani's smile, her long hair, her eyes, he splashes water on his face again.
Rey: It cant be you! Main tumhe yaad nahi karna chahta, main tumare bare mein sochna nai chahta, (takes a deep breathe) main tumhe miss nahi karta Taani, main tumhe bhul chukka hu!! (he had faint tears in his eyes, looks at himself in the mirror) kyu kiya mere saath aisa Taani?? Itna trust kiya maine tumpe, kyu apne bhai k saath milke..(he couldn't speak, he was silently weeping) 1 saal ho gaya, ek baar bhi mere bare mein nahi pucha, lucknow chali gayi, ek baar wapus ake mujse baat karti, par nahi. Tum chali gayi… (wipes his tears) and proved that I was wrong! Agar tum Shyam k plan mein nahi thi toh tum apne aap ko defend karti. But you left.(turns) but main kisi aur ko haath pakadke tumhe kaise feel kar sakta hu!! Koi aur muje tumhari yaad kaise dila sakti hai,(wipes his tears) ab toh find out karna padega ki wo koun hai!

Raizada Group of industries
Arnav keeps callin Khushi's phone extension for a file, but shez not answering, Arnav gets frustrated and dials her number for the last time. Yet it goes unanswered, Finally he gets up and goes in her cabin. She was enjoying her samosa's!! Sitting with a plate full of samosa, she dipped a samosa in the sauce, bites it and looks at Arnav and smiles. Arnav was so expecting such behavior.
Arnav: (annoyed) Khushi! Tumhara phone baj raha tha!! Sunaiyi nahi deta kya??
Khushi: (with attitude)What the !! Hum samosa kha rahe hai, dikhai nahi deta kya??
Arnav : (with a straight face) ye samosa khana ka waqt nahi hai Khushi!
Khushi: (irritated, gets up from her seat) hum jab humara mann kare tab khayege!! Apkko khana hai?? toh ap bhi khayiye( She takes a samosa and walks near arnav) Ye lijiye khaiye!
Arnav looks at her angrily. Was about to say something when the office boy enters
Office boy: Khushi madam, ye lijiye, apne jo jalebi order kiye the, wo aagaye
Arnav rubs his temple out of frustration, trying really hard to control his temper. Khushi looks at the jalebi and gives a broad smile.
Khushi: (excited) hayeee jalebi!!! Dijiye, (takes a jalebi and eats it) waaah…
Arnav couldn't stand there for a minute! He looks angrily at Khushi , walks to her table, takes the file and moves out and slams the door. Khushi looks at the office boy and gives him a broad smile with a Hi5!!
St theresa's
Rey walks in with full plan to find out who the new teacher was. He had a box in his hand, he quickly walks in her class and places the box on her table.
Student: Rey sir ye kya hai??
Rey: (smiles) Tumhari drawing teacher k liye gift hai. (winks at the student and looks at his watch) Buss, 5 min aur (runs out and hides behind a wall)
Taani from the other side walks in and smiles at the students, The students greet her good morning, she see's the box on her table. Rey from outside quickly comes and stands near the door trying to listen whats happening inside. Confused Taani takes the box and looks at the student and smiles.
Student: Maa'm apke liye gift hai. Kholiye na!!
Rey had a big smile on his face, and inside the class Taani was confused, she checks the box cover for sum label or sumthin. Finaaly she deciedes to open it, she starts unwrapping the gift cover. All the students were with their eyes wide open to see what was in there, Taani was excited and confused too.
Rey standing outside begins his countdown.
Rey: 5 (Taani inside was unwrapping the gift cover)
Rey: 4 ( She finishes unwrapping)
Rey: 3 ( she looks at the box and at the students, shakes the box trying to figure out whats inside.)
Rey: 2 ( She carefully opens it)
Rey: 1 (and he closes his ears with both his hands, waiting for the response)
Just as she opens it, huge green grasshoppers and crickets and cockroaches jump out of the box leaving her no other option then to scream her lungs out, She throws the box in the air and within few seconds the whole class was filled with chaos!! Half of the students were on their benches, some girls were running around and some naughty guys would pick the grasshoppers and throw them on already freaked out kids. And Taani?? She was worse then the freaked out kids, she was running around like a mad cow, cockroaches and grass hopers were on her hand, on her back, on her shoulders, on her head. She was stamping her feet like a small child.She was facing her back to the class door from which Rey just walked in, laughing looking at the scene!! He was holding his stomach as it was hurting him now, coz he probably laughed too much!
He looks around the class and finally at the teacher, slowly his smiles fades away, her side face was facing him now. It was her!! She was trying to shoo off a grasshopper who was roaming on her back. He couldn't believe it. His heart pulse dropped.. he was seeing her after a year. Taani was too engrossed in taking off those creepy creatures over her that she failed to notice that he was inside. Rey was stuck there, his legs were stuck, he couldn't move, his heart beat was stuck, and his eyes was stuck on her,
Taani looks at her students, she makes a sad, crying face, she tries to calm everyone down and her self too!! She holds her head with both her hands and turns! And there he was! Right in front of her! He was staring at her with a blank expression. Taani didn't know what to say, how to react. Out of nervousness she was saying something, or more likely whispering something as her voice was stuck near her throat.
Taani: (whispering) wo..main..wo.. (she looks around at the kids and again at Rey whose eyes were fixed on her, she started breathing heavily out of nervousness)
Just then Sharon enters the class listening to all the chaos. All the student look at her and stop the screaming and stand quietly. Sharon comes and stands between Rey and Taani, she was nervous too. Just then the bell rings and all the students run outside. Rey looks at Sharon and turns to leave when Sharon quickly holds his hands,
Sharon: Wait Rey, kaha jaa rahe ho? Its Taani. Your Taani. Baat karo usse. Don't you have anything to ask her? Wo kyu wapus nahi ayi, Kyu chali gayi apne aap ko justify kiye bagyear?
Rey: (hurt, looks straight at Sharon) Justify nahi kiya because she was guilty! Wapus nahi ayi because she din care! And you don't look surprised. That means tumhe pata tha ki yeh yaha hai?
Sharon didn't know what to say, Rey just takes off Sharons hand and walks out of the classroom. Sharon turns and walks near Taani, Taani closes her eyes and slowly a tear falls on her cheeks,
Sharon: Taani? I told you yeh hide and seek nahi chalega. I knew this would happen.
Taani was weeping with her head bowed; Sharon feels bad for her and hugs her. Taani weeps even more now, feeling miserably bad.

Taani's eyes were filled with tears now,she couldn't say anything , he leaves her arm and tries to move backward when her chain locket gets stuck to his button. Both of them look at the locket, it was the one he had given her, for a moment he gets stuck
