wow this is just amazing. what concept yaar but apart from the kiss I don't want khushi to be immoral. afterall then what will be the difference between her and the other girls who wanted to sleep with him.
She should not give in and he should pursue her even if he said that he won't if she refuses. Then they would be true to their respective characters.
Let her denial leave him baffled and force him to go against his resolution. Let the cat and mouse game begin. that would be interesting to read. let him realize that if she kissed him she is not immoral and the reason behind that kiss was not his wealth or her lust. It was just a little girl's dream and she was not thinking about the consequences.
let him know that she will not fall for his money. let him see her real character before they come together. let him respect her before he actually has her. Let him be jealous of NK unknowingly and then realize his love for her.
She has gone through a lot and I don't want her to be used by Arnav. I want him to love her before making love to her. She deserves that. She would have to go against her upbringing and her values if she agrees to Arnav's proposition and most importantly she will not be happy because there will always be that guilt of doing something wrong. you see no matter how rebellious we r we cannot totally shrug our values.
secondly, how would she be happy knowing that naniji, a woman who had been so kind to her, would be very sad and disillusioned if she does what Arnav says. Khushi is not an ungrateful person is she? She cannot let naniji regret the day she thought of sheltering Khushi. the khushi we knew was ready to give away her happiness for her jiji even if meant spoiling her life and letting go of all happiness. she did stand up against Arnav and made him suffer for what he did to her. that was her spirit but having spirit is not equal to becoming selfish is it?
I know some people would say that if society did not care for her then she should also not care about the society's rule but is it just society's rule? Is it not the value given to her by her father whom she loved and is it not the trust of naniji who sheltered her that would be broken if does something like this?
I am not saying that live in bad but it is not that she is in love with Arnav then why would she compromise? I agree that she wanted romantic love but Arnav is not offering that. He is just offering sex. so accepting him would actually not make her happy right?
I am not saying this because she is a widow and does not have a right to be happy. Infact she has all the right to be happy but the question is will she be happy being a mistress or a wife? Definitely a wife! Infact being a mistress would degrade her and that would indicate that since she is poor and a widow she does not deserve to be someone's wife and can only be a mistress. On the contrary, she has every right to be someone's wife and live respectably even if she is poor or a widow.
I am not playing down the physical urges. they are important but they can be taken care off by marriage to a partner of right age. concentrating on satisfying only physical urges and giving a damn to everything else is animalistic and to tell u the truth if Khushi is not a dark character she cannot be like this.
one kiss on a night like that can be excused but agreeing to live a life Arnav is offering would be going against her character and even if she is feeling rebellious Khushi would never go against her values. Atleast that was the Khushi we all fell in love with.
Anyways it is ur story. I like the concept and ur dealing with it, very much. I am just making a suggestion. I have no intension of offending anyone.
good going👏
