The D3 gang had won the NDC!! They were really happy and so was Taani. She had proved that she was a responsible GS. Every relation was like before, or precisely, better than before now. Except one. TaaRey. Taani had been upset since the day Rey misunderstood her easily. She avoided Rey now. She had forgiven the gang and Swayam and vice versa. Her and Swayam's relation grew stronger. But TaaRey, they knew something was missing. Rey tried hard to apologise to Taani and make her understand, but she never gave him a chance. Not that she was happy letting this misunderstanding grow between them, but the very thought of it made her teary and so she wanted to avoid it. She hid her sadness with the happiness of Louians winning NDC.
The VP had threw a party in the college as a celebration. The entire college was invited. The dress code was decided. Girls were to where white and boys were to wear black. (Taani had wore the anarkali suit, the one which she wore in the sangeet party and Rey was in a black informal suit, in the sense, black jeans, a black shirt and a black coat over it).
The party was on full swing. The girls were chatting in one corner and Taani had put on a fake smile on her face. Students were coming and congratulating her and the other girls.
The Boys on the other hand were busy in their lame pranks and jokes and Swayam and Rey were busy stealing glances at their girls. Rey clearly understood that Taani's smile was a fake one. Damn! Then why didn't he understand her then when she needed him the most?! He hated himself for that. And he very well knew that he had to make up for the blunder he had done.
He went up to the person who was playing the guitar and asked of it. He took the guitar from him and started playing it immediately grabbing everyone's attention.
*music*
Rey started singing looking at Taani.
Saari raat aahein bharta ( Rey started moving towards Taani)

Swayam smiled looking at how Rey was trying to manaofy his sister.

Re mann mera, mane na mann mera ( Swayam on seeing that Taani wasn't melting, came up to her and asked her for a dance. Taani smiled and gave her hand in his and they danced)
Tujhko jo dekhe, ye mujhko leke ( TaaYam are dancing and Rey is looking at them)
Bas tere peeche peeche bhaage ( Swayam strated twirling Taani and while twirling her kept on moving towards Rey and this went unnoticed by Taani)
Tera junoon hai, tu hi sukoon hai
Tujhse hi baandhe dil ke dhaage ( Swayam left Taani hand and she went crashing on to Rey chest. Rey caught her waist and Taani looked up in his eyes and found herself getting lost in them..)

Kuch jaane agar to itna ke yeh tera deewana hai ( Taani had tears in her eyes.. she separated herself from Rey)
Re mann mera ... mane na mann mera ( She turned and wiped her tears and ran away from the atrium to You-Know-Where!)
Rey stood looking at the direction in which Taani went. He looked over to Swayam. Swayam signaled him to go after her and sort it out. Rey went after Taani.
She was sitting on the steps of the fire escape and crying. She tried hard to stop her tears but they were in no mood to listen to her. The door opened and Rey came in. Taani stood, wiping her tears and started walking out. Rey caught her arm.
" Aaj mai tumhe nahi jaane dunga Taani" He said. He made her face towards himself. Tears were flowing down her cheeks. He felt a pang in his chest seeing her tears.. and it hurted him even more that the reason of her tears was he himself.
"I'm sorry Taani! I know that I acted like a jerk. Please mujhe maaf kar do.." Rey said cupping her face and wiping her tears.
" Maaf toh maine aapko kabka kar diya tha Rey, bas apni hi feelings ke saath confused hu. Jab mujhe bhai aur aapki sabse zyada zaroorat thi.. tab bhai ne toh mujhse muh fer hi liya tha.. par maine socha ki atleast aap mere saath rahenge.. par aapne bhi mere saath nahi diya.. mai kitna akeli feel kar rahi thi iska aapko andaaza bhi nahi hai.. N upar se aapne mujhe aise misunderstand kiya.. " Taani let it out and tears formed in her eyes again. "Phir maine socha ki situation hi aisi thi ki koi bhi mujhe misunderstand kar leta.. but.. but the fact ki aapne bhi mere saath uss koi bhi ki tarah behave kiya.. hurts me more!" Taani said.
"I know I am at fault Taani! Par uss time situations hi aise the.. n I was not in the right frame of my mind! Warna mai kabhi aise aake tumhe misunderstand nahi karta! Itna sab kuch ek saath ho raha tha ki didn't know what to do.." Rey said. "I'm sorry!" Rey breathed and looked down feeling guilty.
"You're forgiven!" Taani said. Rey's head shot up. Did he hear her right?! Was he forgiven?!
"Kya?!" He asked her. "You're forgiven!" Taani said again.
Rey crashed his lips onto hers, cupping her face. Taani was taken aback. She was too shocked to respond. Rey kissed her passionately. Taani soon melted in the kiss and started responding. It became gentle. They slowly pulled apart. Rey placed his forehead against her.
"Our First Kiss.." He breathed. Taani smiled and blushed the deeper shade of pink.
"Now if you keep blushing like this, I don't think I'll be able to stop myself from kissing you again.." Rey said making her blush even more.
"THAT YOU CAN'T!" Swayam and the boys said as they barged inside the fire escape leaving TaaRey shocked.
"Gosh! You guys just killed my romantic mood!" Rey said complaining.
"Oye Mr.Majnu! Abhi its not time for you to be romantic! Enough of romance with my sister! VP sir's calling both of you!" Swayam said glaring at Rey.
"Okay! Fine! We are coming! Don't try to kill me with that possessive bhai look of yours! Scares me to death!" Rey said making everybody laugh.
Rey held Taani's hand firmly and made way for the atrium!
