Too true. The fairy light scene was so intense! The chemistry between these two was massive! It really is one of the best and you penned it well.

If Arnav's "And if you protest anymore, I will kiss you into submission." was not obvious enough for Khushi that Arnav has more than a passing interest in her, I will re-evaluate Khushi's sanity.

I love Nani and Arnav's relationship. It's always good to have an ally who can shamelessly use emotional blackmail and who Khushi cannot deny any wishes to lest she be considered rude and disrespectful.

Lovely update!

One of the iconic scenes of IPK, and you have done a fantastic job writing it in, in your story.

Sorry for the very late comment, but life always get in the middle of me and ArHi.

Ohhh btw, do we get a Diwali almost kiss or a full blown ArHi passionate kiss wa? I opt for the latter, just so you know.

Loved loved loved it
U just can't help but love it when Arnavs in his playful teasing mode
Finally khushis starting to realize her feelings n once she does I hope she shows Arnav how she can tease him too make him all hot under the collar ...that would make my day
Loved how lost Arnav became when he saw her later with the lights around her
Have to admit this was one of my favourite scenes in IPKKND to
Loved how his actions n ur words made it like he was seducing her/ loving her
As for his sexy banter whilst discussing the sari my heart was beating 10 to dozen 😳
Can just picture the scene in my head so clearly *sigh*
Couldn't help but laugh at his convo with nani about his interactions with khushi
Can't wait to see his reaction once she appears in front of him
Will he take his seduction a step further????
Thanks for pm plz keep em comin n continue soon ...can't wait

The description of Raizada Mansion from Khushi's perspective, without really describing the architecture, was very beautifully done. It brought out the adoration and admiration which Khushi has for everyone in the house.
Inspite of being so rich and grand, Raizada Mansion has the warmth of a home.

Her gut feeling telling her that it was a new beginning for her was perfect in its execution. It was very natural for her to feel so and it fit in the moment.

NK and Anjali are always excited about Khushi.
So, NK has a penchant for suspense and poor Anjali is dragged into it everytime. 😛

Arnav's grandmother's entry scene was great. Your words effortlessly painted a picture of the aristrocratic old lady with great poise whose pride "was enough not to be called snobbish".

"Khushi Bitiya" must have felt like music to Khushi's ears. It had the ring of warmth and love of a family in it.

Arnav gave an indulgent smile while Khushi was hugging his grandmother. It felt as if he was satisfied and finally at peace to see how his grandmother welcomed his Khushi with so much of love and respect. It was like he took pride in the fact that his family loved Khushi as much as he loved her.

(I wonder why Arnav's grandmother's name is Sukanya and not Devyani.)

Nani's efforts to make Khushi comfortable and make her feel like she was at home, are praiseworthy.
Khushi's subtle apprehensive behaviour was normal. She must have got overwhelmed.
Atlast, she got to live with people whom she can call her own family with pride.

Their shared Past acts as a connecting link between them. The common sorrow of losing loved ones made them understand each other's grief with more empathy.

The simple act of Khushi showing her mamma's Payals which she was wearing was very nice.

Nani is such a sweet, old lady. I love her characterization.

Khushi talking to herself infront of Arnav's door was so typical of Khushi. 🤣

It was Khushi's first entry to Arnav's bedroom. 😉

Arnav's information database is very efficient. I'm glad that he got to know how Aman, the arrogant ass and Sheetal, the hag irritated Khushi.

The choice of sweets which Khushi made for Arnav and which Arnav claimed to love, are also a favourite of our darling author, hainaa? 😊

Arnav's innuendo of tasting the particular thing only if Khushi let him, was not lost on Khushi. It was so typical of Arnav. 😉

The short but meaningful romantic moment was so surreal that I wanted to be physically present there and witness it. You just wrote it that wonderfully! 👏

I seriously felt like smacking Anjali and NK.
But perhaps, some half-lived moments provide the thrill that can set fire to two souls crazily in love with each other but not realizing it in its totality.

I totally sympathise with Arnav. :P

Retold scenes of the show.
* Arnav greeting Khushi with a husky "Hi" just as he opened the door. He did the same thing on the show during the pre-wedding ceremonies of Payal and Aakash, just after the night of Sangeet.

* Khushi was blabbering and Arnav put his finger on her lips to shut her up. But it shut her sanity too. 😉
This scene was again a highly romantic scene that was shown during the early weeks of their marriage.

* A very hungry Khushi eyeing the Jalebi in Arnav's hand. This scene was similar to the scene where Khushi was eyeing Arnav's breakfast but couldn't eat because she was fasting for Karvachauth.

These retold scenes were very efficiently written keeping in mind the situation where they are. And it brought back the fond memories.

The opening scene was very nicely described with a flustered Khushi.
Her feelings were so relatable.

The whole family intent on making Khushi eat more than she actually wanted to eat was a very hilarious scene.

Arnav came and told Anjali that there was nothing to ask Khushi as she would eat. Sometimes I feel that he is really the Devil which Khushi thinks albeit a very caring and handsome Devil. 😉

I loved the description of how Khushi lost the touch of the world and got flustered, everytime Arnav is near her.

Aag toh barabar lagi.😉
- Both of them get so enamoured and lost in the other's presence that they forget the world.

Khushi's talks to herself were funny especially the part where she thought of sorting out her mind by watching Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
Just like the author, Khushi too loves Shahrukh Khan like crazy! 😊

The retelling of one of the famous scenes of the show was done very beautifully. It was so neat in execution, so crisply and intensely romantic, so subtly seductive and so brilliantly written. I simply loved it.

I thought that he would kiss her. The ambience was so perfect for the kiss and Khushi even anticipated it.

The "incentive" of Shahrukh Khan's favourite colour being red, was so teasing.
Khushi actually bought it!

Arnav's idea of helping Khushi drape the saree was wonderful. 😉

If we look back to history, Khushi always welcomed her visitors (Arnav and NK) in a very messy and cluttered room. But thankfully, Nani came to her room which was more than neat.

I love the relationship between Nani and Arnav. It is so beautiful and pure and lovely.
Arnav shares everything with his Nani.

Nani asking him to call Anjali if he wants to smack himself was funny. 🤣

Nani thought that Arnav would profusely thank her when he would see Khushi! 🤣

Khushi was bound to look beautiful because it was a red saree designed by Arnav and Nani helped her to drape it.

I'm waiting eagerly for the Diwali. 😉 😃
