Actually speaking, you can't talk sci fi when it comes to hallucinations because by definition it means visualizing something that isn't there. However, the visions may correspond to the bond of Arnav and Khushi because from what I deduce, she is the instigation to all the crimes. Something like the way a mother would know if her child is in danger, its there and its actually scientifically proven that two people can share bonds whose magnitude in strength goes to lengths. Time gap may be because of the genius he is. Look at him. His record in solving crimes is exceptional except for these string of cases. So I think he is bipolar, one part determined to challenge the other to death (Harry Potter much, though they were two people there). The anger and the rage but no sexual assault - so she left him at a time when he needed her (probably when he lost everything else) the most or he blames her for his loss of something but he still loves her enough to never cross limits and the body parts are probably, upon reconstruction, going to resemble her. Okay, I guess I covered most of it. That's the maximum my brain could work out after an exhausting day.

PS. The hallucinations were triggered again three years ago because that must have been the very first time they met each other after the gap and the time when he decided what he was going to do. And the doctor was the same one who treated the both of them.

And what actually happened to Khushi's biological parents?

Arnav is atleast six years older to Khushi,so it's unlikely that Khushi may have been the girl with Arnav with all the tubes and wires since that would mean Khushi was around 2 years old at that time...unless these kids were picked up for their IQ or similar reasons irrespective of age.

Khushi getting sindoor for Arnav ??
