hi hi hi... love you ppl honestly for the loving comments!!! makes me sit back even when tired to drop a update for my lovely readers!!! i love surprises and thought you guys would love it too!!! and so was this update .. thats why i had not released it in the precap!!!! AN ARSHI ROADTRIP!! dedicated to every single reader out there!! now don tell me you guys expected this as most of you were thinking abt the wedding they were to attend!!!
PART 36: ARSHI ROAD TRIP
they left the garden after watering their plant towards their car... least did they know it was their own lives they were nourishing
arnav opened the door letting a smiling kushi get in... he waited to see her get settled and closed the door...
he turned back to take a look at his garden and to his surprise he felt he could see his maa waving to him with a smile... he got into the car smiling
kushi was glad to see him smiling but was not surprised
he turned to see her smile at him: you saw maa na she asked
he nodded and she smiled back
he started the engine and pulled over his seat belts.. he saw kushi do the same and remembered the past when he used to scream her to wear those.. they smiled at each other as if they remembered the same thing
Arnav set his wheels spinning fast along the highway which was covered by the deep blue sky with clouds still reducing the hotness of the sun ... thanks to the month of December
they were quiet.. its was 15 mins since their journey had started... the silence was broke by a call from neetu informing kushi that the party for wedding was to begin only by evening... kushi was glad that she wont miss a thing...
she looked out through the closed windows as the car passed through millions of trees and fields along the highway... she could see the trees moving rapidly and she was sure of the cool breeze out there... without a second she looked at him...
his eyes were fixed on the road though they were dying stealing glances of her often...
kushi: arnavji.. can i plz open the windows...
arnav smilled nodding his head...
the next minute he felt the cold breeze hitting against his face
she knew it disturbed him while driving
kushi: arnavjii.. you can drive slower .. then you can enjoy it too
arnav smiled back shooting a question: and if we don reach in two hours
kushi immediately replied: we don have to.. we have enough time... the party starts by evening only and its just gonna be around 10
arnav smiled and the speedometer went down to a 60km/hr from the actual 130km/hr...
she smiled looking out excitedly through the window... the breeze brought in the scent of numerous plants and flowers and she felt heavenly
kushi: the climate is so good na arnavjii... and look the trees look so beautiful...
arnav nodded coz deep within all that he saw was the beauty of the person beside him.. she was like a mystery... a mystery he would love to keep solving till his last breath and he knew he could never finish...
and as if the sun had heard her words it came out of the deep skies shining staright on their face... arnav sulked... kushi laughed
arnav: what the!! whats so funny...
kushi: the sun is playing with ASR and she laughed
arnav: kushiii... its burning my face straight down coz the window is open and you find it amusing
kushi:its playing peak a boo with you arnavji
arnav: what boo
kushi: peak a boo... see i will show you... she pointed out to the grasses where the sun was shining bright and the next minute it was gone and it again appeared... see it goes there but comes back here... and she smiled.. thats peak a boo...
arnav gave a confused look though he understood and parked his car by the side of the road to drink some water
kushi: wait i will explain easily.. she took her dupatta and pulled it in between their faces...
she slowly lifted it and smiled at arnav : see who is back and again she pulled it up
this time arnav tried pulling it down and she smiled brightly booo: see you tried peeking in and i did a boo... this is called peak a boo... we play with babies and ever since i was a kid and complained walking to school bauji used to tell me this and i started enjoying the sun after that
arnav smiled brightly at her crazy antics... there was so much of truth and innocence in every word she spoke
arnav: you love travelling dont you??
kushi: i used to
arnav pulled on the gear of the car and once again set the wheels spinning
arnav: so you go often on road trips
kushi: oh no.. every time i came by bus to delhi to see buaji that was like a road trip for me...the only problem is buses don stop when i want them to...
arnav: but i would...
kushi smiled and replied: i know
the sun was slowly showing up ... arnav kept driving and was suprised to not hear kushi talking.. he turned to face the most amusing sight ever
she was already asleep and the strong breeze was making her hairs cover the angelic beauty underneath and the sun was stilll playing on her face..
arnav whispered: its playing peak a boo with you now
and slowly raised the windows and pulled down the sun shield on her side
he drove along and suddenly heard her wincing in sleep.. he saw that her head had hit against the window and madam was still so asleep that she din open her eyes
he smiled : pagal and before she could hit a second time his left hand was between the window and her face.. he slowly pushed her to position and continued driving.. suddenly he felt a hit on his shoulder.. she had swayed this side and he din disturb her... he drived slowly not wanting to disturn her sleep... she looked more like a kid leaning on him and he smiled fixing his gaze back on the road...
suddenly there was a two fork deviation.. the board stated that there were two ways.. one was a short route to their destination and the other a long one...
he remembered kushi telling him they have time and how much she loved being on road and his car was already on the long route...
she adjusted herself back to her place in sometime disappointing poor arnav
arnav kept driving with silence... it felt good.. it felt heavely.. it felt beautiful.. he din know what he felt but he knew one thing that all he wanted in his life was for her to forgive him and he be the reason behind her every smile till death...
suddenly the silence was disturbed
ARENT WE THERE YET asked kuhi slowly opening her eyes
arnav: i guess we have a long way to go kushi.. i missed the short road and took the long one.. i am sorry
he was suprised.. she replied with a smile : no problem.. we have enough time anyway and its fun
arnav: really!!! you were sleeping for an hour now and i was bored
kushi stuck out her tongue as though she realized: i am sorry.. you can sleep too
arnav: and who is to drive
kushi: i can... she added i guesss
arnav smiled: and then we can both sleep happily and left out a chuckle
kushi sensed the sarcasm behind his comment and hit him hard on his shoulder
arnav: ouch.. it hurts kushi
kushi: it was meant to and she turned out through the window smiling
arnav: oh so my nuts is angry now
kushi winked at the window not realizing arnav could see the reflection: yes... i am
arnav smirked: good for me... and continued driving leaving a shocked kushi to stare at him and they both smiled
kushi: arnavjiii... see there a lake... park your car by the side na.. plz plz plz...
arnav immediately let his legs hit the brakes and car halted...
he got down and walked upto the lake and as he turned around found kushi missing...
he saw her walking up to him with two boxes and bottle in her hand...
arnav: whats this
kushi: i guess its time we eat something.. you must be tired too right
arnav knew she was right
she came and peeped into the lake beside arnav: its so beautiful na
wel arnav felt the lake more beutiful with her reflection on it
he kept looking at her as
she sat down letting her legs into the lake.. it was a small lake but was spread with a wide area and the waters din seem so deep either.. she opened her box and turned to arnav
kushi: come sit na.. you don want to be standing till i finish the last bite
arnav: its okay kushiii
kushi: i promise you i wont let the wtaers take you away and she chuckled
he smirked
she shrugged disappointed at him not budging...
arnav finally gave in and pulled up his trousers a little and inserted his legs into the pool
arnav: ouch its so cold man
kushi: but its nice na... see this place is so quiet and beautiful...
kushi liked the numbness she felt when the cold water hit her legs.. she forgot all the tension in the outside world
arnav: you had the mind to make them for me even today morning
kushi smiled: i know you would miss them... you told me on the phone
arnav: well i missed my nuts too and kushi was surprised... she knew he did but he was not someone who would express...even to his di it was a rare time affair...
she felt different but din know what it was.. arnav sensed it and changed the topic to make her comfortable...
arnav: kushiii can i ask you something
kushi: hmmm and took a bite of her sandwich
arnav: what do you used to in the orphanage.. managing kids is quiet tuff right
kushi immediately threw a excited smile: oh o arnavjii i love being with them.. i and neetu used to wait to be back from classes to join them...
aarav and pinky were my favourite
arnav: oh that BIG GUY and smiled gaining a hit on his shoulder again
kushi: yeah...we used to go beach everysunday and once in 6 months for picnics...
arnav: what!! but what fun is it with kids.. you cant even enjoy in the racket they create
kushi: true but its fun when we create it together
arnav lifted his eyebrows amused
kushi contd: the kids used to ask me to read out stories to them, we would then play around and yeah we used to have music and games too... in the beach water was the best... at times i wished i remained a kid itself
her voice dropped and he knew she was right... he placed his left hand on her shoulder saying true kushi
kushi could see the regret in his eyes and now she even knew he couldnt have helped much coz he had a dark past too... she smiled back
kushi: i will let you meet them and see you will loveee it
arnav: as far are as they are not nuts like you and earned a glaring stare again...
they got up and went back to the car.. kushi held out the apple juice to him...arnav took it with a husky thanks
he finished it and she smiled and they set out on their journey again...
kushi switched on the music system nd there was a old english slow bg music cominggg
arnav: thats my fav kushi.. its an amazing album
kushi frowned and sulked
arnav: what the!! why do you make such faces
kushi: honestly arnavji... this album was a hit
arnav smiled: yes kushi.. you don like it
kushi: it s nice but play it when i am dead and stared at him
arnav was shocked at the sudden raise in her tone
arnav: what the!!
kushi: yeah if yu listen to such songs you would know nothing to speak beyond what the!!
arnav: excuse me
kushi: how boring arnavjii.. see if its was salman khans song i would have been dancing and you could have driven more nicely
arnav nodded whispering a sarcastic: yeah
kushi: seriously.. i am not joking... his style his dance.. the music and beats...even a dead man would come up dancing
arnav smiled: excuse me and how is mine
kushi: a danacing man would go staright into his box hit the system shutting down the music...
arnav hid his chuckle: she was the craziest woman he could ever see...
they were quiet for sometime and again kushi: arnavjii...i thought you would be angry
arnav was shocked to hear that and the car came to a halt by the side
arnav: kushiii...
kushi: hmm...i enterd your day without your permission but you were so cool...in fact i felt as though i was playing with a friend after long
arnav smiled: i should thank you kushi... you know i have never done these stupid things before and smirked
kushi: excuse me... i am not stupid.. thats what one day i thought you were not laad governor but no.. you are always...
arnav: it feels great to hear your lAAD GOVERNOR after long and hit his leg on the accelerator again...
suddenly kushi saw a supermarket nearby and asked arnav to park his car...
she took out the first aid box and took his hand
arnav gave in willingly.. his bandage was little soiled... she slowly unwinded it as arnav kept admiring her do it.. he felt no pain coz his mind and body were lost in his angel's thoughts
kushi was glad the wound had healed for the btter... she stuck a small plaster on his hand and smiled satisfied...arnav looked at his hand and felt he got a magic touch...
now perfect arnavjii we can go...
arnav asked her to follow him and they sat by a a table by the side of a dabba
kushis face went wide seeing what he had brought for her
kushi: wah arnavjiii gol gappeee
arnav smiled again looking at his pagal girl
before he could realize she took out a huge gol gappe and stuffed it straight into her big mouth leaving arnav amused
arnav was lost in her... he could see the kid in her alomst everytime she went crazy and all he knew was he was crazy to see her go crazy...
she suddenly realized arnav sitting idle watching her
kushi tried to talk with her mouth full stuffed...
arnav smiled... you first finish kushi...you can talk to me later.. i wont run away
kushi frowned
she gobbled it up and contd: you too eat na
kushi: you said you liked it once at buajis house.. now don change
both smiled remembering the past
but this time it din hurt them at all...
arnav replied: thats coz you gave it
kushi: so i shall now also.. i don want to get stomach pain coz of you...
arnav: your serious??
before he knew kushi was already stuffinf the gol gappe in his mouth
arnav swallowed and the juice came dripping at the sides of his mouth...
kushi smiled : ASR.. does not know to eat gol gappe.. should be the title in news tomo
arnav frowned
her hands went to wipe them immediately.. it was looking more like a mother feeding her son ...
arnav smiled
kushi: you liked it
arnav: may be i should learn too
she smiled and went back to her plate
kushi: wah arnavjii... its heavenly!!!! thank you so much arnavjiii
arnav smiled and once they were set and done.. the car was back on wheels...
arnav showed her a cd asking her to play it...
kushi: plz plz.. i have my friends wedding.my friend will feel very bad if i am in the hosiptal during her wedding
arnav: shut up kushi...
kushi sulked : laad governor
but the next minute the silence in the car was replaced with beats of music... music of salman khan...
kushi: wow!!!! salmanjii...
arnav: yeah... now you will ask the dead man to come dancing behind right
kushi chuckled: thank you arnavjiii...
she looked out excited with the music and jumping like akid to the beats amusing arnav...
arnav admired how kushi found happiness in the most simple things in life...she neevr felt the need of money to satisfy her wants.. her wants were always the most insignificant things according to normal ppl... she definitely knew to live life in big size and relish every minute... he regretted for having wronged such a soul... but he was glad that he was mending his deeds finally...
ARE WE THERE YET kushi's voice disturbed his thoughts
arnav hesitatingly: an hour left kushiii
she replied as if she had wished it was longer: we are almost there so soon.. i thought you took the long road...
arnav smirked: it wa skushi.. we are almost 4 hrs ahead that the short route
kushi: but i din feel so... strange na
arnav nodded...
she suddenly replaced the music cd with arnavs
arnav: why are you playing this now.. i thought you din like it
kushi: hmm true.. i am sleepy and this cd would help me more and she winked at him
it was arnavs turn to GO with an O expression this time
and she was right coz she dozed away in minutes .. thanks to the heavy meal and arnavs music.. and in no time she swayed back to his shoulder falling asleep like kid
arnavs heart wa sracing high and he wished the world would just froze at this point.. a world of just him and her... he looked down to see her smile pacefully and he was sure she was happy with the trip
finally the car halted in front of GLOBAL ORPHANGES which was all decorated and looking lovely perfect to sign a beautiful wedding...
she got up and like a kid brushin her eyes WE ARENT THERE YET NA she said
arnav smiled: we are kushi!! we just reached and she looked up to see her decorated destination
kushi: wah!!! you came so fast arnavjii...
arnav looked at his watch it was 4.. and they started at 9... supposed to have reached by 12
he smiled: yes we are very early kushiii and looked back into her eyes which was filled withe excitement and saw her jump away as she saw neetu approaching to hug her seeing her enter
neetu: kushi yourrr backkk.. i missed you
kushi hugged neetu kissing her happily: yes i ammm
and the girls set talking not even aware of their surroundings
arnav smiled thinking to himself as he saw her chat along with neetu .. finally his legs hurt and he could feel the strain of driving this long unnecessarily
BUT THOUGH IT WAS A LONG AND TIRING JOURNEY THE MINUTE HE SAW HE THE JOY IN HER EYES AS SHE EXPLAINED TO NEETU THE FUN SHE HAD HE KNEW IT WAS ALL WORTHWHILE:-)
