A beautiful morning in Kailash was interputted by an unexpected rainfall. Sati had visitors in the form of her sister Revathi and Chandrama. They had not seen her since the wedding and wanted to pay a visit. Nandi received them and said that Mata Sati was doing pooja and took them to her. Revati wanted to meet Mahadev as well but Nandi said Prabhu is in his gyan sabha as he was a guru to the Rishi Dadichi Markande Kashyap and all other Rishi were there. If Chandrama wanted to see Mahadev he could go there. Chandrama said after Sati's pooja he would. Revathi and chandram waited for Sati to finish and when Sati saw them she was delighted but she could not bring herself to greet them as she was preoccupied with something. Sati called out Revathi.

Yes didi aren't you going to do aarthi.

Ofcourse Didi I forgot

Sati did the aarthi and gave it to everyone present and when it came to her turn she placed her hand over the aarthi but did not remove it. Her hand was slowly burning from the flames.

Sati Sati move your hand Revathi and Chandram shouted

But Sati did not hear them at all. She was in a trance shoocked and frightned by what she saw. Mahadev Prabhu everyone callled out. There was no need as Mahadev was already with Sati. His hands were covering her and taking in all the heat. He pulled her back and held on to her tightly she turned and hugged him with all her strength.

Swami what did I just see. Tell me what I saw swami.

Sati shiv couldn't open his mouth. He knew what she saw would come true. and she would come face to face with him soon. But right now it was not the correct to tell her as she was not yet strong enough.

Swami you are hiding something from me. I can see it on your face. Sati was tugging at him with all her strength and holding on to soo tighlty that one of the rudraksh beads broke free.

Mahadev was still silent.

Shiv Swami why did I see a the figure jump in front of me. Who is he and who was he fighting.

Sati was so scared that she fainted in Mahadev's arms. He lifted her and was about to go to their quarters when Mahalakshmi and Brahma Dev appeared.

As they were constanlty interputted and the training could only be started at in the evening and even that could only be done for a few hours as expecting Sati to be awake all night was out of the question.

Apparantely Mahadev and Narayan stopped time for the briefest of moments which meant that Ravathi and chandrama had come to meet Sati and go home quickly as Chandrama was wanted back at home. So in this way Revathi would not see Sati's frightened face as she would bombard her with a lot of questions which Sati could not answer. They were protecting her from finding out the truth too quickly.

Mahadev I think you need to start the lesson here in Kailash before taking her to the mountians. Narayan and Brahma dev both said it.

Narayan I thought about that but we need privacy as I am slowly giving Sati powers without telling her.

He walked away from her as he could not bear to see her going thru this pain.

Sati got up a little later and was frightend as she could not feel Mahadev next to her she wanted him to hug her as that dream had come back

Mahaev swami she called out

Mahadev was not within earshot

She remembered what Swami had told her if you want to see just close your eyes and you will find me

And ran to him as fast as she could. As soon as she saw him she hugged him from behind.

Sati what are you doing her you should be sleeping

This was a Mahadev that no one saw. Mahadev opened up his heart to his beloved. Sati I could see you in Kailash hear your laughter and voice and when you married me it was the happiest time of my life.

At that vardaan you wanted on Mahashivratri of making god your husband.

Apparently the asurs and the devtas were as usal fighting for swarg and Indra big mouth got him in trouble agian. Mahadev was getting more than annoyed with him.

It seemed like Sati's vision was about to come true. And try as he might Mahadev could not stop it from happening.

Just then Sati arrived with food for then.

Narayan I am happy to see but seeing the look on Mahadev and Narayan face Sati knew something was wrong.

The said goodbye and Mahadev put one man in charge of Sati.

Sati would have the encounter she would be dreading soon. But that Man loved Sati like Mahadev even though it was not Mahadev and Sati would have to make a decision that would cement her releationship with Mahadev forever.

Mahadev Mahavishnu and Brahmadev were in Kailash along with Indra and the rest of the devtas. Mahadev was asking Indra as to why he had to open his big fat mouth and give a warning to the asurs.

Mahadev began I did not say anything it was the asurs who started the whole.

Oh so now you blame the asurs for everything

Mahadev you always see fault in me and not the asurs

Mahdev the asurs are also at fault

From here on until a year Indra shall not enter Swarg lok. The doors of swarg are closed to him. The other devtas have every right.

And the tridev went to meet the asurs. Who were not in the mood to agree. They know that they had a lot of work cut out for them.

Back at the mountains Sati was feeling lonely and lost. But rembering Mahadev's words she always closed her eyes and found him close to her. She had to collect some flowers and did not realise that she had walked to far away. She found the flowers and collected them and put them in the basket. Suddenly some asurs saw her and despite knowing that she was Mahadev's wife wanted to have her for themselves. She ran as fast as she could the flower basket dropped from her hands.

Mahadev Swami Shiv she cried out Help Me.

Mahadev heard her calling for help but was helpless as he could not leave right away. So he sent forth Veerbhadra.

The asurs soon caught up with Sati and one of them was about to touch her when Veerbhadra jumped right in front of her and cut off his hand.

Sati was in shock.

This was her vison she had been seeing him all this time. He looked like Mahadev but he wasn't. This man was darker his hair was open and he had a neclace of skulls around his neck.

She moved back slowly too frightened to say anything.

Swami where are you. She wanted to see her Mahadev to be back in his arms.

Sati I am right here. She could feel his voice and feel his arms pulling her back into him. But could not see him.

Sati close your eyes and see me

She closed them and there was her Mahadev holding her close to him she hugged him and she was shivering her body had become cold. Mahadev warmed them up by planting kisses. Sati loved what he was doing. Who is that man. Why does he look like you.

Sati this is Veerbhadra.

Mahadev realised that he needed to be with Sati in person and without saying a word got up and disappeared. Soon he was his whole self with Sati.

Mahadev swami Sati was soo happy to see him.

Sati awoke in daksh palace early one morning. She had been sleeping with her face towards a window whose curtains hadn't been drawn. Infact no one was allowed to close it. It was because she wanted to see Mount Kailash when she opened her eyes in the morning as she knew that her life was residing at the top of the mountains. And this morning was Mahashivratri. It had been a year since Mahashivratri had been announced by Mahavishnu a year since Chadrama was rescued by Mahadev and he had taken to residing on the Lord's head and had accepted Revathi as his wife. But also a cause for pain for Sati and Mahadev for she had hurt him a lot as well. And now she had to rectify her mistake. She told herself that Mahadev had to accept her as his wife and this morning was the perfect time. She got up and had a bath and quickly got dressed and slipped out of the palace. She made sure that noone saw her. She went to the shiv mandir that only she and Revathi knew about and did her morning pooja.


When it was time to go back she hesitated as she needed to see someone first. She had to see Madneike as she was still her best friend and confident and she was missing her these days. She found her with the other shiv bhakts in a part of a jungle. They were all preparing to do pooja for Mahadev. By the time Sati got there it was evening. Madenike was happy to see Sati but she was worried as well as she knew that when he father finds out that Sati was not home there would be trouble for her. Sati assures her saying that she will reach home before he comes back.

Daksh is not home

No he had to leave last night and will be back tomorrow evening

What about Prasuti she will not be happy Sati

Sati tried to clasp it back but the hairclip fell apart. And Sati's hair framed her face .

Mahadev was mesmirised Sati looked beautiful the loose curls were driving him crazy and he simply couldn't move his face away from hers.

Sati looked at him and all she was the love in his eyes and thought to herself Shiv your lips say something else but your eyes speak your unspoken words. It was true Shiv's eyes spoke volumes and they told Sati everything she wanted to hear.

Mahadev broke the silence as he had to

Sati I think it is time for you to go home now

Father she was in no mood to speak to anyone

Revathi came to check on her and found she had a burning temprature. She rushed to Prausti and told her. Prasuti told Dakash who immediatley made all kinds of concotion but nothing worked. Her tempreture refused to come down

Meanwhile in Kailash Nandi was doing his best to cajole Mahadev.

Mahadev please go to Mata she is sick.

He fed Sati and she fed him. Who is keeping the fast Sati you are me. You have given me half the food.

Mahadev I know that you have been hungry as well. She smiled.

Suddenly and deer shot out from the undergrwoth and ran to its mother. There was flora and fauna everywhere and to Sati this was the best place to be with her shiv. The time passed so quickly that neither Shiv nor Sati realised that a new day had dawned.

I am home during the night Sati had fallen asleep on Shiv's chest and looked so peaceful and beautiful that Shiv did not have the heart to disturb her. He let her sleep and he was loving the way he felt.

A beautiful day dawned upon Daksh bhavan the day after Shiv and Sati's wedding. Sati got up early in her bedroom wondering whether the entire thing was a dream or a reality. She smiled to herself and tried to get up but a hand pulled her back. She turned around and saw the most breathaking sight ever. Her husband her Shiv was lying beside her fast asleep but he had placed one of his hands on her waist as if to remind her that it was real and that they were husband and wife atlast. Sati slid off the bed after carefully removing his hand and placing it gently to his side. She rushed for a quick shower and changed into new clothes and went and sat besides the huge window facing Mount Kailash and thought about everything that had happened these past few days. She recollected the time when she came face to face with Mahadev for the first time in her life. She was totally mesmerised with the sheer beauty and manliness from him. She had never seen a more equisite or handsome man ever in her life. And some unknown force was drawing her into him. Mahadev never send a word or moved. He was just standing there in front of her. And all she wanted to do or rather felt like doing was running up to him. But she controlled herself as there was many people around her. The noise coming from them and the wispers were all shut out by her. All she could think about was that Mahadev had come upon her calling him and he was magnificient. That one moment was all it took for Sati to fall in love with Mahadev forever.

She also remembered how insecure she felt whenever Mahadev rejected her. She could not face the hurt anymore and to top all of her father had become an enemy of Mahadev for some reason. He could not understand how a Princess could love someone who lived in the mountains without a roof over his head. Wore tiger clothes and had rudraksh beads all around him and most of all had a snake around his neck. Daksh did everything he could to make Sati hate Shiv but Sati was already head over heels in love with Mahadev and had made up her mind to make him her husband. And when that day finally arrived she was full of butterflies her stomach was churning inside her. She could not concentrate on anything especially when she found out that she had to marry another man. But when she arrived in the hall all decked up as a bride all eyes turned on her but her eyes were only focused on the statue of Mahadev that Daksh had placed in the centre of the hall. She simply said a prayer and let the garland do its work. The garland as if by magic went and placed itself around the lord's neck and the lord came and stood before with the garland around his neck. Sati's joy knew no bounds and Mahadev also kept staring at his beautiful bride. Time stood still for the couple. They only had eyes for each and were taking in each other as if this was the first time they had seen each other. For Mahadev this meant that after eaons he had altlast been united with his soulmate his wife his lover after years being apart from her. Letting his wife go broke him to pieces the first time around and he spent all these years waitng for his beloved to be reborn as Daksh's daughter and this time he wanted to make sure that nothing and no one came in the way of their happiness. There was a loud cheer when Sati came and stood next to her husband and when he was given the varmala to place around Sati her eyes light up and tears of joy fell on her face. He garlanded her and wiped away her tears. They had a lot to make up for and Sati could not wait for the night to begin. But she also knew that their was a lot of rituals awaiting them before they would be left alone as husband and wife. Mahadev whispered to his wife.
My love we are finally husband and wife and I am lookling forward to spending my entire life with you.
Sati echoed the same sentiments and just as they were about to talk some more they were disturbed by her family members.
Mahadev do we have your permission to take your wife away from you. Sati needs to do some tasks.
Didi what are you talking about. I am not leaving my husband alone.
Sati said Revathi It will only take a few mins.
Didi I am not leaving Mahadev. Saying that she clasped her husband's hand tightly. Wherever I go Mahadev will also come.
Sati I am fine Mahadev said but Sati as usual had made up her mind and there was no way she was changing it. She pulled her husband who willingling accompined his wife.

Prasuti was waiting for Sati to start the pooja for Naryanan and was surprised to see Mahadev with her.
Sati Mahadev both of you have come for the pooja
Mother Sati was adanmant about not leaving Mahadev behind.
Oh Prasuti realised that her daughter was still scared about what had happened and wanted her husband besides her all the time. It is good that I have my daughter and son in law with me.
They did a small pooja and Sati seeked her mother's blessings. But she forgot that she had wedding guests to greet as well so that was also done before finally Mahadev and Sati were left alone. Not for long though just a few mins when Prasuti announced that they had to do another pooja to Mata Saraswati as well. So they set off to do a Pooja to Sarswati. After the pooja Nandi managed to convince everyone that Mahadev would bring back Sati home soon. But Mahadev had other ideas. He and Sati sat down besides a tree holding hands. Sati was lost in thought.

I am just thinking that I am the luckiest woman alive to have married the Lord of the Lords. I cannot believe my luck. She pulled Mahadev closer to her and made him touch her cheek. He did that as well as stroked her hair and planted a kiss on her cheek. There does this help.

Sati letting you go was the hardest thing and I died when you were separated from me. I went thru immense pain the kind that I never knew existed. The whole world ceased to exist for me. So I decided to renounce this cruel world that took you away from me. And I went into Samadhi. Time never stands still and I knew that you would be reborn.
How did you know. Sati was crying she could not believe the torture her love had to go thru all these years
The birds and flowers announced your arrival Sati and that was when I was reborn. And when you called me to come to you after all these years I was unable to resist myself. And came and stood before you. I knew what would happen. You took one look at me and fell in love with me.
What about you asked Sati she had made herself comfortable in his arms.
Me I fell in love with you as well that moment. But I tried all my best to hide my feelings from everyone but you never gave up. No matter how hard I pushed you back you fought me every inch of the way. I wanted to distance myself away from you. I forgot that I was fighting with Adhishakti who never gives up. Our fights brought us much closer to each other. It was hust that I never said anything to you. As you were reborn as a Princess who is used to everything done for her. And Sati I love you with every breath in my body. Your love ozzes through me. But I could not bear the thought of you having to bear the cold winds of Kailash and the rain falling on your delicate body. Also the heat of the sun would be too much for you to bear.

Sati did not know what to say at point. She knew the reason now. Why Mahadev kept rejecting her all this time. Even though he was in love with her. Mahadev continued. Sati chose not to intereput him.
I was afraid of losing you again as I knew that if I did not my Adhishakti with me this time. There was no Mahadev for the world. Mahadev exists because of his Sati. We are in each other's souls. Sati hugged him tightly unable to control the tears that started to flow from her eyes again. She promised him that she would never leave him ever again.
Sati looked up into his beautiful eyes and drowned in them. Mahadev's eyes spoke a lot. When he was happy they shined and glowed and when he was sad his eyes masked his pain.
Sati what were you thinking about earlier this morning.

He was also doing other things besides that. He removed her pallu from her and seeing him do that Sati willingly went into his open arms and both of them never spoke a word the whole night. They were united at last.

Back at the palace Vasuki was waiting with Nandi for Mahadev's and Sati's return but both knew that they would only come back in the morning. Prausti kept asking Nandi if Mahadev had come. But Nandi kept making excuses. Prasuti realised that she was being foolish and told herself that she had nothing to worry about Sati was with her husband and they had every right to be alone for a while. She excused herself and went to sleep. Daksh was waitng for her and asked her where her daughter was. She is with her husband was all Prasuti said. She was in no mood to hear anything bad about her daughter or son in law. She simply said that she was happy that her daughter was finally married to a man she loved very much and who loved her daughter with all his heart. Prasuti started daksh.
Not now Swami. I don't want to hear anything bad that will ruin Sati or Mahadev's time here. So if you don't have anything good to say about them. I would request you to keep your feeling to yourself. Daksh was shocked to hear this kind of talk from his wife. Prasuti what is wrong with.

Finally Mahadev decided the next day that they should go back to the palace as everyone would be waitng for them. Sati agreed altho in her heart she never wanted to leave this beautiful place.

Sati this forest will be here waitng for you anytime you want to come back. But there is another place that is awaiting the arrival of its mistress my love. Kailash and it would be lovely to have you walk around Kailash.

Hearing the word Kailash made Sati happy. When do we leave for Kailash. How about we leave tonight.

Sati I know that you are eager to come home to Kailash again and Kailash would be very happy to see you as well. But we cannot just leave like that. We need to say our goodbyes.

That was not a goodbye. Mahadev smiled at his wife who was unable to contain her happiness at coming home atlast to him and to Kailash. It would be a happy place now filled with the sound of his wife laughter and everything beautiful about her. Mahadev had not set foot in Kailash all these years. So it would be a homecoming for him as well. And this time he was looking forward to going home. This time nothing would go wrong nor would he allow anything to happen that would spoil this joyous occasion for them.

Upon reaching Daksh palace. Mahadev sent word to Nandi and told him to prepare Kailash for a grand welcome home party. Nandi was happy hearing this as he also never visited home In all these years. He rushed to the gan prets and told them that Mahadev wanted Kailash to be decked up like a bride. All of them rushed home and began prepartions for the arrival of Mahadev and Sati. But there was a slight problem as neither of them knew what to do when it came to Sati. How do you welcome Mata. Mahalaskshmi came to their rescue. She was excited and happy to see that Mahadev was content at last. She made the prepartions.

She filled a pot with rice and kept it ready and the entrance to kailash. Then in a thalli she poured sindoor with water and asked Nandi to hold it. Mahadev and Sati were getting ready to leave for home. Sati did not want a long goodbye so kept it short. She was eager to go home. Ganprets announced their arrival and Mahavishnu Brahmadev Devi Saraswati and all the rishi's made a grand welcoming party for them. The ground of kailash was decorated with flowers of all shapes and sizes. There were flowers bedecked in every tree and their perfume filled the air. Sati was amazed that everything was so beautiuful.

Mahalakshmi asked Sati to tip the top the pot over. She did it with ease. Then aarthi was done for Mahadev and Sati. And both were welcomed into Kailash with great pomp. she was taken on a tour of Kailash by Mahadev himself. He stopped when he came in front of a cave. That was going to be their bedroom and no one could enter this side of Kailash. Mahalaskhmi asked Sati to put her handprint on the entrance to their sanctuary. And Nandi took it upon himself to warn the gan prets of the outcome that would befall them if they ever dared to cross this line. They all agreed. And excused themselves. All the devtas soon followed and finally Mahadev and Sati could enter their bedroom. Sati was about to go in when she felt a hand pull her back. Soon she was lifted by Mahadev who carried her in to their love nest.

He put her down on the bed and joined her for the rest of the day they did not make an appearance. And even though it was time for Mahadev to mediate he chose not for the first time in his life. He wanted to spend time with his beautiful wife after all they had to make up for lost time. Sati was basking in the love and attention of her husband but was constantly worried about what Nandi and the ganprets would say. Mahadev assured her that no one would have anything bad to say about her. They were all in fact happy that he had got married at last. Saying that he pulled her close to him and silenced her. Sati finally made an appearance later that day to cook a delicious meal for everyone as she knew that not only Mahadev but also Nandi and the ganprets would be hungry. Food was cooked in no time at all. And everyone waited for Mahadev to start eating first. Sati served Mahadev and Nandi everyone else. Just as dinner was finished the rains decided to announce their arrival. Everyone ran for cover except Mahadev who had caught hold of Sati and asked her to stay back. Sati knew why. Mahadev wanted her to remember the time she fell into his arms when he was disguised as Jatta. Sati was happy and even more so when Mahadev decided to recreate that one moment again.

Don't tell me you are going to be Jatta again.

Why not I thought you liked me in that guise

I do but I love Mahadev more and if you are going to catch me this time I want my husband to hold me. Mahadev glady obliged her and did some trick to make her fall in his arms again. He held her like that for a long time. Both of them were relishing these small moments with each other.

Shiv your arms might start hurting. We have been like this for quite sometime now

Sati my love my arms ache to hold you close to me so let me enjoy doing this. That is unless you want to get up. Mahadev was teasing her now

Sati feigned anger and said If my husband is tired then he can bring me up. All the while she had a smile on her face.

Your husband loves you very much and he would like to say that you look even more beautiful when you are angry. They were both enjoying themselves too much in the rain.

Nandi was getting worried for Sati. He did not want anything to happen to his Mata. He knew that she was not used to this kind of rain. It was getting rather cold for his Mata. But Mata was not feeling cold at all infact she was all warm and cosy. Mahadev had carried her back to their bedroom where the night belonged to them again. And Nandi knew that going there at this time of night would be facing the anger of his Prabhu and that was the last thing he wanted to do.

Days and months passed. Sati and Mahadev was enjoying their marital bliss to the core and Mahadev could not help but wonder that the best thing he ever did was to wait for his soulmate to come back to him again and now that they had become one again he was making sure that nothing would ever hurt them ever again. Sometimes he had to leave Sati alone and go out to do his duty but he always made sure that he came back home soon. Each time he was away from Sati he always wanted to go back. And he looked forward to coming home as Sati would rush into his arms and give him a loving greeting. She missed him as much as he missed her. There were also times when Sati would accompany Mahadev and he always looked forward to that. Such a time came the next day.

Mahadev had to go to a meeting of the tridev and Brahma dev had requested Mahadev to bring Sati along with him as he wanted to see his granddaughter. Mahadev gladly agreed and together they made an stunning entrance. The tridev meeting as usual had something to with Indra dev who was up to no good. Naryayan and Brahma dev warmly welcomed Sati and made her sit down next to Mahadev. Soon the meeting was over but instead of going straight home Mahadev took Sati to a place that he and she had created many many years ago.

Sati had never seen a more beautiful place wherever she looked she was stunned. She saw a swing and decided to sit on it. Mahadev offered to push her she said no need but Mahadev pushed it anyways. Sati did not like it and pulled him and asked him to sit beside her. She wanted to be close to her husband again.

This he held out his hand and produced jasmine flowers which he placed on his wife hair. He then decided that her necklace was not nice and replaced it with flower ones and the same was done to all of Sati's ornaments.

Mahadev made sure that Sati was always smiling with him he did not want anything to hurt her or him again. The time they spent alone together was the most precious gift he would ever receive and he wanted to keep on receiving it. Sati made him very happy to her he was not the Lord of the Lord's he was simply her Shiv and he loved to hear his name uttered from her beautiful lips. No one called him that except his wife. Mahadev felt special and treasured by her. For Sati Mahadev was the best thing that happened to her she could imagine a single day or minute without him besides her for she felt lost without her soulmate. Mahadev was happy to hear this from his wife and said that he was madly in love with his wife and most importantly they were together at last.

Are you sure we will be together for the rest of our lives. I can't bear the thought of living without you again.

Sati we will be together forever and ever. We will not let anyone come between us. And Mahadev would live up to the promise this time. This time things will be different he thought and hugged his life tightly .
