Taani couldn't believe what she had seen. She should have known this was all too good to be true. Kriya was back and obviously Rey would pick her. Why would he want Taani? There was nothing special about her. She ran back to the gang with tears streaming down her face. When she got closer, she stopped reminding herself she couldn't ruin this weekend for the other. She wiped her tears, and plastered a huge smile on her face.
Swayam - Taani, agi tum? Rey aur Kriya kaha hai?
Taani winced at the mention of Rey and Kriya's name. They sounded so good together; Taani just didn't belong in this.
Taani - bas arehehai dono
Swayam nodded and everyone got back to their conversation.
Inside
Rey was dumbstruck. He couldn't move. His mind was working telling him to run after her but his body was just not responding. He already knew Taani had taken this the wrong way.
Kriya*thinking* - Yes, mujhe pata tha Rey aaj bhi mujse pyaar karte. Dekho kaise mujhe chor hi nahi reh hai.
Kriya - Rey, choriye na
Rey heard a voice and turned to face Kriya. The past few minutes came back to him and hit him hard. Instantly, he let go of Kriya dropping her on the ground and ran after Taani.
Kriya - Ouchhh
Rey ran outside and he saw Taani standing there quietly not talking. He walked up to her and stood beside her holding her hand. Taani looked at Rey and smiled but then what had just happened a few moments ago flashed in her head and her smile disappeared. Rey knew she was thinking about it.
Rey - Taani, kya mai tumse baat kar sakhta ho?
Taani - ha boliye
Rey looked around - uhm akele mai
Taani's heart broke into a million pieces. She knew what was coming next. Rey was going to tell her that this was just a big mistake and that he actually loved Kriya. Taani nodded and they quietly walked away.
Taani - pehle ki aap kuch bole, mujhe pata hai ki aapko kya bolna and all I want to say is that I understand. Who aapka pehla pyaar thi aur -
Rey - Taani, tum yeh bol kya rahiho?
Taani - mai bas yeh kahna chati hoon ki I understand agar aap abh mujse se break up karne wale hai.
Rey*shocked* - What? Mai kyun break up karonga?
Taani - Kyunki aap aaj bhi Kriya se pyaar karte. Maine sab dekha tha Rey. Kriya kaise aapki arms mai thi.
Rey - Taani, asa wasa kuch nahi, woh actually Kriya girne wali thi aur jaise I turned around, woh sida mere arms me girgi. Tumne asa socha bhi kasai, ki mai tumhe choronga? Aapni zindagi ko chorna possible hai kya?
Taani breathed a sigh of relief. She felt the storm in her belly calm down.
Taani - aap sach mai mujse break up nahi kar rehai?
Rey - nahi kar raha ho, sorry.
Taani felt the world around her stop. She felt the tears occurring in her eyes. Rey saw the tears and started to panic. He cupped her face and wiped them away.
Rey - arey Taani, I was joking, of course not. I love you
Taani stared at Rey before hitting his chest.
Taani - Asai drana zaroori hai kya? Meri to kismet hi khrab hai. Inte sare larke hai is world mai leykin mujhe to aapse hi pyaar hona tha.
Rey grabbed Taani by her waist and pulled her closer.
Rey - Ab pyaar hua hai to, you have to stick with me your whole life.
Taani blushed at Rey's comment and looked the other way. Rey grabbed her face and turned it to face him, planting a peck on her lips. Then, he held Taani's hand and walked towards the gang, not being able to wait for the fun time they were going to have.
