He ran his bike around the city absorbing every wisp of the feelings that nature was laying his way. Be it the smell or the sharp winds he was loving it all. Flying his bike in between a thousand colored lights and at the same time strange darkness adorned in the background, was his favorite thing to do. He was a guy with a million un-shed tears and even more untold emotions. He had a strange aura of authority around him while his eyes enfolded a different story altogether. He was a man of few words and fewer friends. But that night he was wanting to talk to someone achingly.
He was on his usual errant around the city and was thoroughly enjoying himself when he was suddenly made to halt! He was brought out of his reveries by the honking of the stupid vehicles around him. "Damn", he thought. If there was one thing that got onto his nerves immediately then that was traffic. He despised waiting, impatience being his most outlined characteristic. Smirking at his own thoughts he was whisking away his bike effortlessly when he jolted and stood stunned. His thought process went numb for a second as he saw 'her'. Regaining some consciousness he steadied himself and looked more precisely. The girl was…he was at lack of words. Face so breathtakingly beautiful and eyes consumed in oceans of pain. Tears trickling down her pale white skin and her gaze blank. He couldn't bring himself to tear his eyes away from her for an unfathomable reason. He observed her. Only her face was visible through the car's window and it was a myriad of hidden sentiments. Her eyes were hazel green and nose slightly twitched because of the innumerable pools of hurt cascading down her face. For the very first time in his life he wanted the traffic to last the whole night and wished that the car's door was made of glass. While all his thinking she shifted slightly. Her moving made him focus more and realized that she had acknowledged his piercing stare. She looked at him once making his heart skip a beat that very instant.
She moved her hand and shielded her face by placing it on her forehead like a scarf. She, he saw was not very comfortable knowing that he was observing her and was shifting from one position to another continuously. But he could not turn away. He tried but with no avail. His mind was not following his orders anymore. She waited impatiently for the signal to turn green and for the traffic to lighten. Soon she was off between the hustling of cars and was lost while he stood at the very same spot with a picture of heavenly beauty struck in her eyes. "His damsel in distress", he thought and he was ready to turn her life into a fairy-tale!!
