Understanding her confusion he smiled a bit and said

"Tumne mujhe pehchana nahi' mai Arnav , Arnav Singh Raizada '.. "

She looked at his face for few more seconds and then a small smile forming on her lips she said

"Arnav ' tum yaha ???" she asked slowly.

And then she again repeated his name "Arnav."

"Haan Arnav'" he said and flashed a smile at her , a head spinning smile.

She felt a little bit comfortable seeing someone she knows in this city of strangers.

"So'. Khushi tum yaha kya kar rahi ho ???"

She looked up at him for a second and after that slowly said

"Woh' mai' yaha.. kisi kaam se aayi thi'"

"Hmmm ok ?? So tum akeli hi ayi ho or Farhan bhi aaya hai tumhaare saath ?" [So you have come alone or Farhan have also come with you ?]

As if this name was an electric shock for torturing her , she slowly nodded her head in affirmative and he said

"Well' tum akeli delhi aaayi ho , kisi kaam se par tum yaha kya kar rahi ho , woh bhi Delhi ke iss ilake mein , it's not at all a safe place for girls or rather women." [Well , you have come to delhi, for some work , but what are you doing here in this place , its not at all safe.]

While talking they have already started walking , Arnav was walking back to his car , while Khushi , she didn't want to loose herself here again and so she too started walking with him.

"Woh mai rasta bhul gayi thi'"

"Ohk !!!! so tum kisi hotel mein reh raaahi ho or kisi relative key aha ?"

She didn't knew why but she didn't felt a bit uncomfortable in giving up all details , probably because he was not that stranger to her.

"Nahi ' mai bas aaj hi aayi hoon' aur abhi tak koi jagah nahi mila'" [No I have just come today itself and have not found any place till now.]

"Ok fine , lets do one thing tum mere saath mere ghar chalo , Di aur Nani bhi tumhe dekhkar bahut khush honge." [you come with me to my place , Di and Nani will be happy to see you.]

"Anjali di tumhaare saath rehti hai ???" he noticed that , it was the 1^st time she was asking something of her own and reaching his BMW he said

"Haan Di humare saath hi rehti hai , since Jija ji ko idhar udhar kam ke liye travel karna padhta hai.. so'." [Ya she lives with us since jija ji needs to travel a lot.]

"Oh !!!" and she was back to her short pointed replies.

He pointed towards the car and said

"Chalo lets go'.."

"Par Arnav mai tumhaare ghar itni raat ko'."

"Khushi 1stly tumhare pass abhi rehne ke liye jagah nahi hai' 2ndly abhi thodi der pehle jo tumhare saath huaa uske baad tumhe akele chodhne ka koi sawal hi nahi uthta , 3^rd baat Di and Nani tumse milkar bahut khushi honge , even Anushka bhi ' 4^th baat aagar mai gha jakar bola kit um mujhe mili thi aur mai tumhe raaste mein hi chor kar aagaya toh Di toh mujhe maar hi dalegi and 5^th aur last baat manta hoo college mein mai tumhara sabse bara enemy tha , par uska matlab yeh nahi hai ki mai tumhe kha jayunga.. So aab itne reasons kafi hai , or you want me to give you some more ???" [1stly you don't have any place to stay , 2ndly what happened earlier after that I cant let you go like that , 3^rd thing is that both Di and Nani will be happy to see you and even Anushkaa too , 4^th thing if I go home and tell Di , that I met you and left you here she would surely kill me and 5^th and last thing , I know we were enemies in the college but that doesn't mean that I will eat you up if you come with me. So are these reasons enough to convince you or you want me to give some more ?]

He asked cocking his eyebrow and looking at her by narrowing his eyes. And finally he saw her lips stretching a bit and then a small smile appearing on her lips and she agreed and nodded.

Arnav opened the side door for her and that's when she realized that it was a costly car , she looked at the car amazed , when he bringing her out of her awe said

"Chinta mat karo , khud ka hai , churaya nahi hai" and saying this he winked . She looked at him and h signaled her to get inside and she taking a deep breathe did and he closed the door behind her and started walking towards his side.

Khushi looked at the interior of the car , everything was costly and seeing them only it can be understood . She touched the soft leather seats and the beautiful dashboards. She had always dreamt of having a car like this , but her wish her dreams , they will always remain unfulfilled atleast in this life she thought and that is when a hand moved infront of her eyes bringing her out of her dreams back to her reality and Arnav raising his eyebrows asked

"Kahan kho gayi Miss Paraku ??? Ok I know tum aapne Farhan ko miss kar rahi ho.. par kam se kam meri itni sit oh ijjat karo and mujh par bhi thoda attention de do'. You know na mujhe bina attention ke bakbak karne ki aadat nahi hai ' aur phit tum toh meri long lost Enemy jo ho , aise thodi na hota hai '." [Where are you lost Miss Paraku ???? Ok I know you are missing your Farhan but atleast in my honour pay a bit attention to me too , and then you are my long lost enemy , so you have to do it.]

She gave a forceful smile , but he noticed that it didn't reach her eyes and she asked

"Tum bilkul nahi badle ho na ???" [You haven't changed a bit ?]

He started the car and pretending to think said

"Hmmm'. Mai aaj bhi utna hi handsome hoon'." And telling this he looked at her and she nodded and he continued

"Aaj bhi utna hi bolta hoon'. Aaj bhi utna hi pagal hoon' aaj bhi ladkiyon se flirt karta hoon' but thoda limit maintain karke.. and tum kya kaha karti thi' ya ya aaj bhi utna hi Kameena hoon'. Except these Bas ek chiz badla hai'." [I am still talkative , I am still mad , I still flirt with girls , though maintaining a limit ' and what you used to call , ya I am still that kameena '. Except these things only 1 thing have changed]

"Aur woh kya ???" [And what is that ???]

"Ki aaj mai ek successful business man hoon'" [That today I am a successful business man.]

"Sach ???" she asked and he smiled and said

"Hmmm' actually hua yeh ki , college pass out hone ke baad , mujhe ek scholarship mila aur main seedha'. Harvard chalagaya.. and bas aj job hi hoon meri mehnat aur usi ke badaulat hoon'" [Hmm actually what happened was , after passing out from college , I got a scholarship and I went to Harvard and then what I am today is because of my hard work.]

"Chalo maine toh itna kuch bol diya aab tum batao '." [Now I told so many things , so you tell now.]

"Mai kya batau, life puri badal gayi hai meri'" [What can I should I tell , my life has totally changed] she said with a grave sad tone.

"Aur woh kaise ????"

"Bas badal gaya hai'." She said looking somewhere far , he to cheer her up said

"Hmmm par kuch baate toh aaj bhi nahi badli , jaise tum aaj bhi khubsurat ho , tum aaj bhi Farhan se pyaar karti ho.. aur tum'."[But few things have not changed like , you are still beautiful , and you still love Farhan'] And he started thinking what more to tell when she said

"Dekh iske alawa aur kuch same nahi raha'.." He saw her , and didn't knew why but felt that her face was showing some sort of pain and so he changing the topic said

"Ok yeh batao Farhan kya karta ahai aajkal aur tum ???" [What is Farhan doing now adays and what YOU are doing ?]

"Woh usne '. usne army ' army join kiya hai.. aur mai ek housewife thi'"

"What ????"

There came a super shocked expression or rather exclamation from him and Khushi instantly looked at him , while he defending himself said

"No'. I mean FARHAN and ARMY ???? God woh aur army , I mean I am not insulting him , but still army waalon ne use le kaise liya , uska physique , height and all ''. And Khushi tum aur housewife ??? are you serious , I mean I used to think that you were really very very ambitious' but'."

"Maine kaha na Arnav , sab change ho gaya hai'." [I told you na, everything has changed']

"Hmmm seems you are right'."

And then there was a silent .

Then Khushi slowly asked

"Aacha yeh batao Anjali di kaisi hai ???"

"Di ' Di bilkul thik hai , full on happy life aur ghar mein jija ji ho toh roj ka wohi lovey dovey drama '. And tum toh janti hi ho Khushi '. Mai aur pyaar dur dur tak ek saath nahi aate hai' we both repel eachother. Par Anushka , she is my sweetheart , my life , whoh hi ek insaan hai after Di , jisse mein bahut pyaar karta hoon , actually socha jae toh mai Di se bhi zyada pyaar kartaa hoon use." [Di is aall happy with her husband and when jija ji is home there goes on the never ending lovey dovey drama of theirs' and you know na how I am with love' we both can settle in one frame , we actually repel eachother'. But its different for Anushka , she is my life , shsometimes I wonder , I love her more than any person even Di .] And telling this he smiled a smile of content.

Khushi too smiled slightly thinking finally Arnav has also settled down in his life , and soon the car stopped and Khushi looked at him with confusion and he said

"Cmon Khushi don't look at me like that' I don't have any bad intention , ghar aagaya hai'" and Khushi feeling a little bembarassed looked at the other side and saw a big house , it was big , no it was HUGE , just like some palace , but a modern version of some palace. She was still looking at the house when Arnav opened the door for her and said

"Aab yehi se dekhogi or aanadar bhi chalogi ???" [Now you will see from here itself or will go inside also ???]

She slowly nodded her head and got down and Arnav threw the keys of the car to the guard adnd welcoming her said

"Come lets go '"

She still looking at the house with amusement asked

"Arnav yeh tumhara ghar hai ???"

"Hmmm .. I guess so , as yeh ghar maine 2 saal pehle hi banwaya hai , so uss hisab se yeh mera hi ghar hai'" and with that he rang the doorbell and soon the gigantic door opened giving a view of the heaven inside.

She was busy looking inside and didn't notice the doormat and tripped and was about to fall , when he hold her one hand and her waist with the other hand and saving her from falling said

"Ek aur chiz nahi badli hai Miss Paraku , woh hai tumhari slip kha ke girne ki aadat'." [One more thing has not changed and that is your habit of slipping and falling.]
