CHAPTER 2b
To say Riya was just angry would be an understatement,she was so pissed off with life.She was stuck in a big mess.She hated Arjun for being such nice but jerk,caring but irritative , gentle yet angry.
She could neither hate nor love him.Their relation too was of only few months.Roshini was a good girl,she had met her but she left after situation got to their marriage.She still remembered her last words to her,
"Riya jatte jatte mein yehi kahungi ki hamara kismat pe koyi bas nahi hai,You and Arjun are meant to be together,
Shayad meri kismat mein woh nahi tha,
Mein jaanti hui tum usska bohot accha khyal rakhogi,
Take care,Aur haan iss rishte ko ek moka zaroor dena"
Then she had left.
Arjun was really confused.He liked Roshini,but didn't know if it was love or not,he took Riya as his best friend but this new thing had made things "AWKWARD".Roshini had told him the same thing.
Feeling guilty,Riya had propsed the idea of seperation,she only wamted him to be happy but they hardly talked on this topic.
Riya came back from her thoughts when she heard a car honking behing her.It was dark and getting no cab Riya had walked home.She was tired,hungry and teary eyed.
Here Arjun drove out as quickly to find her and saw her walking slowly.He knew he had crossed his limits.She was already taking his angers,frustations silently and took care of him and he was being such a jerk.
He honked and she turned back..She saw him,turned around and walked away.
Arjun felt pain in his heart.She was crying again.Why,Why did he always made her cry?
He silently promised to never let it happen again and moreover he had promised Roshini to give their relationship one try and take care of her.
He got out and went to hold her hand.She jerked it back and was going away when she felt dizzy.
Arjun immediately held her.She was still wriggling in his hold.STUBBORN,he thought.
He carried her and drove to her favorite resturant and ordered her favorites.
Riya hadn't spoken a word,and it was killing him.He vowed to make up to her.
Riya refused to touch the food so Arjun pulled his seat near her and feed her himself.
She was refusing and not opening her mouth.Arjun tried to open her mouth by force but it was hurting her so he went near her,very near her and kissed her cheeks,
Riya never expected this.Her mouth opened in surprise.Taking the chance Arjun feed her.After he finished with her he got up but was pulled down by her.
"Kya hua abhi bhi bhook lagi ha,moti ho jaougi Riyu",he laughed but saw she was glaring at him.
He sat down.Riya called the waiter and ordered Arjun's favs and now she feed her.Arjun was looking at her as if questioning her,
"Kya aese kyun dekh rahe hai,jaanti hu aapne bhi kuch nahi khaya hai toh muh kholiye jaldi"
Arjun just smiled and did as told.
NEXT MORNING
Arjun and Riya came inside laughing and everyone looked at them.
"It was a regular scene.Arjun and RIya used to fight a lot entertaining the group with their amazing galis,"
Everyone exchanged glances.They knew today too they will again fight and as always Arjun will pacify Riya.Typical couple cum BFF
As they entered,Sam spoke up"Toh firse mana liya isse,Riya tum harbar maan jati ho,kabhi toh jyada der tika karo,par ha kal raat ka karnama bohot accha tha aaj tak kisi ki itni himat nahi hui hai,aur ulta usse sorry bolna pada,bohot accha hai"
Arjun glared hard at SAm while everyone laughed.
Riya thought"Kal raat... arre hai meine inke uppdar files,oh no ab kya"
Arjun turned to her"Tumhari vajaye se hua hai,koyi pati ki saath yese behave karta hai"😡 😡 😡
"Huh pati,that word struck her,in 1 month it was the 1st time her used it for her,realize their relation,wait he was scolding her AGAIN
"Oho pati hai toh kuch bhi ha,aap ki galti thi,mein bhuki thi na"😡 😡 😡
"Haan toh bol sakti thi yah bhit muh mein jabban nahi thi,bakki waqt toh bolti hi rahti hoh,band hone ka naam hi nahi leti"
"Mein jyaada bolti huh, sahi hai human nature hai toh bolungi hi na,aap jese nahi bandar johj sirf un aakhon se ghur teh rehte hai jaise ham bhi bander hoh aur aankho ki naate samajhe aajaye"
"Tum ne mujhe kya kaha"
"Ye lo inhe toh sunnai bhi nahi padta,"
Arjun and Riya fought and fought,
"jungli bili,rakshyon ki mata,detergent ka department store,"
"Toh aap ravan,danav,rakshas,garbage ke bhandar"
The team members just shook their head and looked on alternately between them.It was daily routine."Phir suru hogaye"they muttered and sighed 😭
Suddenly Rathore's phone rang telling the arrival of new case
It was of a psycho killer.He was going out of control and running when he grabbed Riya and was about to harm her when Arjun came and hit the man so hard and punched him so hard,and Rathore knew if he wasn't stopped he would kill so he stopped him and took the culprit away.
Arjun was angry.He had promised a long time ago to Riya that he would protect her.He was scared for her.He turned and hugged her.He asked her if she was alright and kissed her forehead.
Yes Riya knew he cared for her.Theirs was a relationship of different shades.
