Thank you for tolerating me, the wishes for my mother's health and the support you're giving me. I'll try to update sooner. I really spend the whole day taking care of mama, so I don't get a chance to think of anything else. I know you understand.

Chapter Fifteen:

Decisions

'Sometimes, the very small decisions may change your whole life, so think and think and thing before taking any step.' My advice!

The last two days were unusual for everyone; Arnav realized that Khushi became something in his life not only in Muskaan's, and that annoyed him a lot as he could not deny that. His next plan or decision was about reducing the time with Khushi, and not contacting very much with her.; he thought of that to be better for all'why? He did not want to think further. He just cannot accept the idea of spending half of the time thinking about Khushi if he was not working. Khushi had already knew that she misses being with everyone at Raizaada Mansion. Yes, she had fun, but she could not stop herself from thinking about a particular someone most of the time. Avinash and his mother were very happy to have Khushi for a day with them. Her massi was pleased with what Khushi does for the Raizaadas as Nani praised Khushi when she had phoned Rohini Ji. Avinash felt as if he had been with Khushi always like before as they were joking, playing and having fun. His feelings towards Khushi gets stronger with time, and he did not do anything to stop that, but he wanted to strengthen his relationship with her. Muskaan asked for Khushi many times that Arnav had to explain to Muskaan that Khushi has a family slowly and patiently; Muskaan did not understand everything, but at least she stopped asking about Khushi every now and then. Nani missed Khushi a lot; she felt as if Khushi were her second daughter. Madhumat Ji spent the whole Saturday with Khushi chatting, cleaning, making sweets and exchanging the news of some relatives and neighbours.

As Khushi stepped in RM, her heart was beating very fast. He greeted HP who opened the door for her then went to Nani's room before Muskaan's. She greeted her and assured her about her family. Nani was happy to see Khushi again after two days which felt like a very long time. As Khushi woke Muskaan up, Muskaan smiled faintly missing the feeling of Khushi's nose on hers; Muskaan recognized it to be Khushi's touch. She got up and exclaimed at seeing Khushi. She dropped a wet kiss on Khushi's nose as she sat on her lap. After that, Khushi gave Muskaan a shower, and combed her hair very neatly. Arnav knocked on the door preparing himself to see Khushi with Muskaan. For somehow his jogging today was light and fresh as he felt active.

"Good morning," Arnav said with a smile. He looked at Khushi before seeing Muskaan neat and clean as Khushi was there like usual. He suppressed a laugh as he mentally compared the last two days Muskaan with today's Muskaan. He found out that he was not able to reach Khushi's skills in her job. There was no doubt that his daughter looked better today.

"Good morning." Khushi turned to the other side so she could see him properly.

"Muskaan missed you a lot. He has asked about you many times." Arnav was standing awkwardly a metre away from Khushi and Muskaan.

"And I missed her very much." Khushi said looking at Arnav if not staring. She looked away being conscious of the whim she just felt.

"I'm going downstairs with Muskaan for breakfast." Khushi said quickly wanting to stop that powerful feeling she got. She did not realize the longing until she saw him'.she felt, for a moment, like hugging him or at least feeling him. Khushi was surprised from herself for being like that. She sighed feeling weak in front of him as she took Muskaan in her arms. Arnav sighed as Khushi left; surprisingly for him, he got an odd feeling to look at Khushi and observe her movements, but somehow he managed to slightly avoid being embarrassed in front of her. He thought of not contacting a lot with Khushi, but not neglecting her at all because she was not supposed to notice any change from his side towards her.

"Have you enjoyed yourself?" Nani asked Khushi when Hari Prakaash was done with serving the breakfast.

"Yes. A lot! It was so fun."

"Where have you gone?"

"Avinash took me to the cinema to watch a movie..Student of the Year..an amazing movie about relationships and friendship." Khushi replied excitedly as she liked the movie a lot. Actually she thanked Avinash for choosing it especially that she wanted to watch a Salman-Khan movie.

"That's nice. I'm sure he is a good guy..I have seen him once."

"Yes, he is."

Arnav was listening to the conversation silently not wanting to comment or to speak up his thoughts as he looked not satisfied with what was going around him. 'Talk of the Year is Avinash I'm sure!' he thought sarcastically. Arnav did not know why he cannot tolerate the mere name of that Avinash.

Khushi's mobile rang while they were still sitting for breakfast. She picked up the call and excused Nani and Arnav once she saw the caller's ID. "Hey, sunshine."

"Hey, Rohan's fan." Khushi greeted him cheerfully. After the movie there was a debate between Khushi and Avinash about the characters; while she preferred Abhimanyu , Avinash liked Rohan more. She justified it Avinash that he likes Rohan more because he is a flirt, but she likes Abhimanyu because he is serious is life, ambitious and a good student.

"Whatever! I don't want to argue more about that." Avinash replied wanting to stop the debate because he knows that no one can beat Khushi when she speaks logically. "Do you have anything today?"

"What? Why? Of course, I'm working."

"There is a movie I'm sure you will like."

"Not now."

"Saturday?"

"No Sunday, but I'm not sure if I can make it on Sunday."

"No excuses'I've missed our hang outs yaar!."

"I'll see. What's the name of the movie?"

"Always Kabhi Kabhi. It's a 2011 movie, but I'm sure you haven't watched it since you're busy watching Salman Khan. You'll like it since you loved Student of the Year."

"Alright!"

"See you."

As Khushi received the call and Arnav doubted it to be from Avinash, he left the dining room, and took Muskaan with him. He swirled Muskaan in his arms, and talked with her until Khushi came to take her.

"Will you count to Dus?" Arnav asked Muskaan, who nodded excitedly as she could do something; she looked proud of herself in front of her father. She started counting to Arnav with an infant tone, and Khushi was there to hear her.

"I said it before, Muski is intelligent..she learns quickly." Khushi commented once Muskaan finished counting."

"Hmmm'yes." Arnav said plainly kissing Muskaan before putting her on the ground. He bid a goodbye and left after that.

Garima called Khushi to inform her about the sagaai date, which was going to be after two weeks. Madhumati Ji was happy for Payal a lot, after all, Khushi and Payal are like her daughters too. The whole night Khushi was planning for next two weeks; first of all, she wanted to make up for the two days of break she got, and now she had to leave before the ceremony. Then, she thought of buying a nice outfit for the day. She thought of all the fun at the ceremony..how she will adorn her sister, and get her ready'how will she tease her jiji and jijaji'.the dance'.the music'the laughter'.the girls'.the sweets'singing'.running'playing'..but then, how can she just leave her responsibilities in Delhi and go to Lucknow? She was bewildered. Of course, her sister's marriage takes all the priority but'she just could not decide anything. Two weeks are very long to think clearly and plan for everything. She decided not to tell the Raizaadas about this until the time comes, and that was the best decision for her condition. Khushi was glad that she will get her salary after a week, so she can buy something for herself.

Khushi was surprised when Hari Prakaash told her that they will be having breakfast out in the garden as Arnav had told him. Hari Prakaash lead her and Muskaan to the table, where Nani was already sitting. The nearest plant to the table was the jasmine; Khushi stared at it and recalled the conversation with Arnav about it..She could not forget that she called his fragrance intoxicating instead of the jasmine.

"This is the best place for having a breakfast ever!" Khushi commented as Arnav took his seat on the left side.

"Yes, and the best thing here is the jasmine and its intoxicating fragrance, right Nani?" Arnav said looking at Khushi.

"Yes'I've missed this plant! When did it grow?"

"Just two months ago or so, the gardener told me when I asked him, but Khushi noticed it some weeks ago before me." Arnav replied.

"Aha! It's very nice to be here." Nani said with a smile which moved the wrinkles under her eyes. Khushi got a strange feeling while sitting there; first of all, Arnav chose that particular place for the breakfast, then he used her words, and now he is taking her name to be the one to found out about the jasmine, and the worst thing was when he asked her about Avinash.

"Who?" Khushi asked nervously.

"Avinash, your cousin. Don't you know him? You've just watched that Student of the Year with him! Don't you remember?"

"O..Of course I know him. He is my best friend. It is just..I didn't expect you to ask about him." Khushi hardly could answer Arnav.

"Why? Is there any problem?" He raised his eyebrows as if he was challenging Khushi. Nani was wondering what happened to her grandson that he seemed to be interrogating Khushi.

"Of course nno." Arnav was making her very nervous that she wanted to leave the table and hide herself.

"So, how is he?"

"He is good."

"And Mrs. Khanna?"

"Massi is great."

"Good."

Khushi was cursing herself for being so nervous in front of him as there was nothing to be afraid of or something of that sort, but still his tone was not comfortable for her. Arnav asked about Avinash as the latter called Khushi many times at breakfast time, so Arnav remembered him. And anyways, Arnav was not eager for his calls, on the contrary, they annoy him.
