PART 42:

Muskaan took the newspaper and understood everthing that who these Malik's were. " Chote has taken over what was his and his father's". muskaan thought.

She came out of her thought process when Akash called her.

Akash: bua! Bua…

Muskaan(coming to the dinning table): hmm,

Akash: bua! Bhai never told me that he is interested in these Malik's. I don't know what made him take this sudden decision. And …..(cut by Muskaan)

Muskaan(in a low voice): but I know.

Nani and Anjali were looking around as if searching someone. Muskaan noticed that and asked

Muskaan: anjali, whom are you looking for?

Anjali(looking here and there): mom, after making the breakfast, I can't found Khushi. She didn't had anything since yesterday. And not even the breakfast.

Muskaan asked Payal about Khushi and she told her badi maa that Khushi is in her room. Muskaan took the breakfast and moved towards Khushi and Arnav's room. After reaching there she knocked the door which was already open, so Muskaan entered the room. But she cant find Khushi in the room then only she heard Khushi's bangle's voice which was coming from poolside. Muskaan called khushi in the room and asked her to sit on the bed with her.

Muskaan: i know dear you are sad. but because of that you cant leave for meals.

khushi kept her head on Muskaan's lap.

khushi: ...sob... badi ma, i dont want to have any thing..

muskaan: my little angel, Aman told you na that chote will be back today then why ...(cut by Khushi)

khushi: i want to tell you something, may i?

muskaan(caressing her hair): hmm tell me..

khsuhi: i a scared because ...

muskaan: why, u are scared...

khsuhi: because i love him... i am scared of loosing him...

muskaan smiled at the innocence of her angel.

muskaan: you are my angel and he is yours...

khsuhi closed her eyes getting the assurance from her badi maa... but suddenly she felt something and she opened her eyes in a hurry and stood out of the bed.

Khushi: badi ma, Arnavji has landed in Delhi... i can feel...

Muskaan: Khushi, I know you love him but what is all this. When he will come, he will surely call you.

But khushi didn't listened to her badi ma very first time and pick the phone to call Arnav but it was again unanswered. She got a sms from Aman telling her that they are in meeting.

Khushi(looking at nowhere): I have to go badi ma…

Muskaan: but where?

Khushi didn't even replied but just ran towards the door to go outside. Muskaan keep on asking her and following her till the door, where she is going but on answer.

Anjali stopped her.

Anjali: mom, don't stop her. Let her go to her Arnav. She will only get her peace after seeing Chote.

AR OFFICE

The meeting was going on in the conference room headed by Arnav. He was explaining something to the clients but he was stop all of a sudden. He could feel his wife to be around.

It is the same time when Khushi stepped in AR. She didn't asked the girl at the reception if Arnav is here in the office or not because she was sure. And there in the conference room Arnav was lost in feeling Khushi when Aman shaked him by his shoulders lightly.

Aman(in a low voice): are you ok?

Arnav was about to say something but his attention was gained by a lady standing at the door with hesitation, love, desire, pain, innocence in her hazel eyes in which Arnav was ready to go deep down. She was non other then his wife Khushi.

Arnav(with a smirk and husky voice looking in the direction where Khushi was standing): I am more than good Aman.

Aman looked in the direction where Arnav was looking with the same desire, love and desperation to be with Khushi and he understood his next step. Aman asked the clients to move to the next room for meeting. They all moved out without any question with ASR, leaving the couple alone.

Khushi with very small steps come towards Arnav and everything in her eyes was changed to anger. There was complete silence in the room that they both can hear each other's breath. Khushi pushed Arnav by hitting him on his chest. Arnav looked at the place she has hit. He very well know that this guts was all because of that love he can see in her eyes which was coming out in the form of anger that was so genuine. Very first time Arnav was moving back and Khushi was moving forward with questions.

Khushi: where were you? (push) why were you not attending my calls..(push).. did you know how madly I was calling you???...how much worried I was for you??? you are really a monster.. you didn't even thought for a second, what I might be feeling for when I didn't saw you in the room next morning of your…..

She looked into Arnav's eyes which was filled with all love for her and just her.

Khushi(in anger): speak up dammit!! I am asking you something and dare not say sorry..

Finally Arnav opened his mouth. But as usual to say wrong words.

Arnav: Excuse me….. who told you that I will say sorry. … I know that …

Again Khushi started proceeding towards him and pushing him until he hits the wall. And she blurted out her heart in front of Arnav.

Khushi: what, what did know? Did you know how much I cried?? Did you know what all bad thoughts were coming in my mind?? Did you know how much I was missing you and did you know that I LOVE YOU….. tell me daamit…

Khushi actually didn't realise that she opened her heart in front of her Laad Governor. But the time she confessed her love to Arnav, for him the world stopped around him, the earth stopped revolving, the clock stopped ticking and his heart fastened its beat. He never felt so happy before. In his words if said then he was feeling happy as if he cracked a trillion dollar deal. A smile came on his face. He cupped her face and touched the traces of tears on her cheeks with his fingers.

But to his surprise Khushi waved his away which no doubt raised a little anger in Arnav as she was not giving him even a chance to explain himself. Khushi steeped back and was about go even away, just then Arnav held her hands with his strong hands in a tight grip and spinned her. She was between Arnav and the wall. Arnav, with one hand, held her nape and with wasting a second placed his lips on hers.

He left her hand and this was the very first time Khushi was not struggling to free herself, actually today she doesn't want to get free. Arnav started to lick her lower lip, after sometimes he switched to upper lip. Khushi was giving her full response. Arnav slipped her tongue in her mouth and tasted every corner of it. Without delaying Khushi did the same with Arnav. She moved her hands on his back and start exploring him from above of his waist coat. They were in the loss of oxygen but still no one was willing to broke the kiss. But finally when they were not able to take a single breath Arnav broke the kiss.

Arnav looked into her eyes and said the three words which he never thought of saying to anyone.

Arnav(in his husky voice): I LOVE YOU KHUSHI……

Tears came out of Khushi's eyes. But those were licked by Arnav which made Khushi to close her eyes. Arnav picked her up in his arms and placed her on the table while he was standing. He again came close to Khushi and kissed her in the same manner as before but this time he was getting a bit naughty. His hands from her waist moved down it. With his hands he spread her legs and came in between them. This time Khushi broke the hug.

Khushi: Ar…nav..ji… (nodding negetively) please no… here….

Arnav: fine, ok…..

Arnav held Khushi's hand and moved out of AR informing Aman to attend the rest of the meeting.
