Oh the prequel has added different light to the story...I must admit that it's getting more interesting and I am not denying that I am loving it. It would be much more interesting to what has happened between the span of 2009 and 2013. There is so much to discover for us readers, isn't it? i am so looking forward to upcoming updates..
BTW even if the FF with similar storyline as life as we know it has already been written I would love to read your version of it. Though not in near future as you already have enough to keep you on yr toes I would you'd write it in future anyway.
