Maan and dev was driving and stopped due to a traffic signal..Maan was cursing himself for saying those words.when he turned towards his window side he saw a lone figure walking aimlessly crossing the road and he recognized it to be geet..Before he could blink his eyes she has been thrown across after hit by a truck.
Maan scremed "GEET"
Dev looked at the scene frozen in horror'Maan dashed towards tgeet who was completely drenched n blood..he could not recognize her to be his geet if not for the time he had seen her crossing the road and thye truck hitting her he would never believe that it was geet who was lying all emotion less in the road..
He took her and kept her head on his lap and the tears was finding his way towards the south from his eyes..This is unblivable for him.Minutes before he had broken her,,Hours before he shouted at her in office..and days before they almost kissed andnow she is laying without any life on his lap..
"Geet geet pls get up geet..AM sry for what I have uttered please geet..please geeettt"he was shuting giving a damn to the people who was surrounding them and standing..
The crowd started murmuring things and the traffic sergan rushed towards the scene of crime..
The traffic police immediately recognized the khuranas and cleared the mess..
Before the people could be cleared maan heard a old man say "poor girl dono who ditched her she was so lost ..She didn't realize anything around her..She was deeply in shock"
Maan hearing those words felt the blood drain from his body..Within seconds he took Gete in his arms and rushed to the car..
Dev took the driver seat and rushed towards the hospital'Soon geet was rushed into the emergency ward...By now everyone from KM reached here.As soon pari entered the hospital she wriggled herself from naintara and got into dev's arm.She cant understand whats going around her..She titghtly hugged him and placed her face in the crook of her neck..
Naintara and beeji stood there shocked to realize what was happening..Dadi was too drenched from the happening of the day and sank into the chair holding her heart..
Naintara came near dev with eyes clouded and touched his arms but dev snapped her hand and looked at her angrily..Maan who was standing outside emergency ward rushed towards dev to see the commotion taking place between Dev and naintara..
Naintra was looking at him shoked cannot beliving her own eyes that dev is snapping her hands and looking at her with volcano in his eyes..
"Dev " she started..
"NOT A WORD MORE" dev said sharply..
"Bhai why are u acting all angry towards bhabhi" maan asked dev
"And you don't talk to me.." Dev again snapped at maan..
Both of them stood still to see dev all angry..Bth of them knew that dev was a angry businessman but never they thought he would snap at their loved one..
"Par bhai"
"What maan??What are u gonna say..Dont you people realize that this is all because of you..Naintara just don't talk to me now I don't wanna burst at you and make my princess more scared..Now if my salli is her in this its all because of u and your devar..if he can take ur side then very well I can take my sall's side..Now you both he snapped his fingers in front of them and said Pray God well that choti should be alright otherwise you will see the real wrath of DEV SINGH KHURANA"
Both the people was shocked..Their heart couldnot hold more..They were already worried for geet's safety but Their dev being so rude with them pierced their heart,.Beeji was standing in a corner with her heads bend down..She very well realized what she has done to her geet..
All the three were now covered with guilt consiusness..It was the time doctor came out the situation became lightened..Everyone rushed towards him and he was bombarded with question..
The doctor could verywell see the tensed faces..HE silenced them and said.."As far as now I could not say much but all I could say now is don't loose hope on GOD'She needs to undergo two surgeries after that only anything could be said.."
They all were waiting impatiently for the next six hours after the operations were performed doctor asked maan and dev to meet him in his cabin..
"Mr.Khurana we did all our best..We cannot say that she is out of danger..there was a heavy blood loss and internal bleeding was there She has broken her legs...We made sure she get treated very well..Now she is under observation 'If she responds our treatment in 24 hour then she will beback to life if not she will slip into coma.."
Both noded and headed outside..Dev was still quiet and didn't made a attempt to talk with anyone else..Pari slept in dev's arms who was sent to KM with dadi..
It was nearly a day after the nurse called dev inside doctor's cabin..
"Mr.khurana the patient isn't responding our treatment we afraid that she would slip into coma"
"But doctor what are u saying??"
"Well mr.khurana when even when the patient is unconsicious their subconscious mind would be all awake and that responds our treatment but in Geet's case she isn't responding our treatment until she desires to live she will not come back to conscious..In simple she has lost her will to live..All I want u to do is go and talk with her'If she hear your voices she may respond to our medications."
Dev just noded his head and said everyone what doctor said..
Maan felt like his ground is slipping..Just their words made her In this condition naintara unable to control herself started crying loudly and beeji comforted her.
Nurse asked them to enter the ICU room..
Everyone was so mute seeing their geet lying with all wires and tubes connected all over her and living through the help of machines..
"Chotti" naintara called going near her and taking her hands which has needle pierced through which saline is going..
"Chotti wake up nah??Ur didu is here??" her ters made her way and dropped on her hands..
But nothing happened..Beeji tried her best
"Geetu puttar..utho nah??am here ur beeji..Get up dear" and again nothing happened..Both fed up the thought that geet s not willing to live made them go numb and her lifeless body proved it..
Dev who was witnessing all this stood at the entrance trying hard to stop those tears which was threatening to fall..
Maan now made his way towards other side and kneeled down..he took her other hand and kissed it..His voice was shaky and face contorted into deep thinking and said "Geet am sry baby..i know this will not make up but cant you understand me..I was in deep anger that I blurted out..pls dear come back to me..If you didn't come back then my life will be nothing but a desert..ill not say that ill kill myself because living with the thought ur not with me is the biggest punishment that ill give myself for the words I uttered to you..i never meant it geet..plz get up..please geet for me.."
He broke into louder sobs and nurse not wanting to disturb patient made him go out..It was only dev still in the room..he was still standing at the entrance not able to take astep more and reach geet..The only way he can think of geet is the sweet voice and girl that threatened him to take care of her didu and if not he would face the wrath of her years before..Her voice still ringing in his ears...He chuckled at the childish girl who was all lifeless now..
The door snaped open and pari came running towards the room with tears running down the cheek and moving towards geet..Maan following her making her to stop but before he could she reached geet..
"Sry bhai she woke up crying fr get and dadi brought her here.."
"Maasi maasi'get up maasi..maasi get up pleasss'Ill not talk to mumma,beeji n chachu u get up..am katti with them..please get up..ill ask pap to beat them.." she cried holding her hands
"papa ask massi to wake up please papa..she said she will say me princes stry..papa say her..masi please masi am ur pari nah"
Dev and maan stood thers hocked seeing geet's pulse rate and heartbeats showing signs of improvement hearing pari's voice..
