The language of eyes!
Arnav cursed his own fate for making him land in such situation as he descended down the stairs into the living room. He saw his family along with hers were present preparing for the marriage function to be held in the living room. It was his brother's and Khushi's sister marriage day and everyone seemed to be in a rush doing the last minute preparation, if only that would bring any change in the program. His eyes searched for only one single girl but she was nowhere to be seen.
He was in his room waiting for Khushi few minutes back so that he could finally pour out his feelings for her but it all turned out to be wrong. The moment Khushi had entered his room, she had seen that pestering Sheetal about to kiss him and she had ran away with red eyes.
Why did that Sheetal had to come to him? He just hated her. He had to make Khushi understand that the fact that he was not interested in Sheetal but her.
Finally he found her sitting in front of the home temple making flower garlands for the marriage. He walked straight up to her but halted when he saw her shooting daggers at him. He looked into her eyes which held a lot of emotions but crystal clear.
She moved her eyes asking him to look around. And when he did, he found a folk of girls who were sitting next to Khushi admiring him. He had been too busy, finding Khushi to have not noticed them and grinned.
Her eyes moved to left and when he followed her gaze, he found the elders of both the families glaring back at him. Was that because he had moved directly to the girls without even acknowledging their presence? He gave a helpless look to Khushi who suppressed a giggle not wanting to melt so easily. She was still angry on him, remember?
Her eyes now shifted to her right and he, the great Arnav Singh Raizada blushed for the first time in his life when he saw his sister giving him knowing looks. Last night, she had argued with him that he loved Khushi but he had blankly refused. Only later that night, he had realised that he had really loved Khushi. He looked back at Khushi who had her eyes lowered, blushing a darker shade of red.
How was he supposed to explain it to her with a house full of people? Not that he cared but he knew Khushi would surely be uncomfortable. He had to clear out the misunderstanding as soon as possible.
He turned and sat farther away from her but his eyes never left her even for a second. Khushi blushed under his gaze. She tried to hide it as much as possible, if it was possible. After what she had seen upstairs, she was not going to melt so easily this time.
She slowly looked up at his pleading eyes begging her not to believe any of those she saw upstairs. She believed but was a little upset about the whole thing as Arnav had never said her that he loved her.
Arnav felt his heart shiver when he saw the immense trust and belief for him in her eyes. He so wanted to tell her that he did love her, more than he loved himself but how could he say that in front of the whole family.
He stared deep in to her eyes and she couldn't bring herself to divert her attention as she drowned herself into the pools of his eyes. She felt shivers down her spine seeing the intensity of love and passion in them.
His eyes were speaking volume. He declared his love through his eyes. Oh! That is amazing. They didn't need words to communicate as their eyes did all the talking.
He moved his eyes to himself indicating "I" and then to her, indicating "YOU", followed by placing his palm on his heart indicating "LOVE". He declared his love to her through his eyes.
Khushi was mesmerized by this man. She knew that he loved her and now when his questioning eyes confronted her, she was shy to give out her heart's feelings.
She looked here and there, trying to avoid his questioning glare. But when she couldn't bear his piercing gaze on her, she looked at him and what she saw amazed her. She smiled shyly and nodded in positive. She declared her love to him.
At that moment, Arnav was the happiest man on this Earth. He grinned wide and jumped from his seat gaining everyone's attention towards him.
Khushi giggled and it echoed in the hall.
Finally the two love birds confessed their love in their unusual way.
The language that only two people so much in love understand is the language of eyes. Your eyes pour out your hearts message. The language of eyes!
