That was an intense update! Khushi's reaction towards the whole ring thing was foreseeable, it's hard to take ones side and feel sorry for one person, as both of them are suffering from what I see. Anyway Khushi was trying hard to forget the fact that they are in a non committed relationship, so by been gifted of a ring, all the things she wanted to forget made an appearance and she wasn't able to control her emotions.
Arnav on the other hand has his own insecurities and has been pretty clear on the fact that he is not the type of guy who would commit himself in to a serious relationship, but felt sorry for him cauz I'm sure he wouldn't have expected such repercussions by gifting a ring,but wanted to please her with an expensive gift to show her that she is special for him since he lacks the ability to express himself through words.. Marvelous update beginning was adorable how he wanted to have her for himself for few minutes, if he is behaving like this now, once he accepts his true feelings can't imagine how he will be! Precap was even more amazing waiting to see what their conclusion on the whole thing would be!
