Even though I came rather late to this story, it has been a terrific read. You have a great sense of place and people, your story rmeinds me of the Vikram Seth's The Suitable Boy.😊
It is very gentle on the surface, apart of course, from our two hot-heads, A and K and their personal relationship. Nothing very dramatic happens, yet life has its eddies and swirls and sometinmes a rapid, that carries away people for a while from their course, yet these currents do not shift anything fundamental, the core remains rooted, even if there is a change in dynamic.
I love the details of the rituals, the colours, the places, the sounds and most important the people and their relationships to one another, their insecurities and yet unabiding love for one another, the joys of family life and the way two families have bridged the differences in wealth.
it is a lovely story. But someone must knock some sense into both A and K and teach them how to resist jumping to the worst conclusions about each other!!!
I love your precaps, that give us just the right kind of hint to what is coming. Looking forward to seeing how A and K come to find the way to reach out to each other at an emotional level. Luckily their bodies have more sense than their brains and have reached out to each other beautifully.😆
