Okay first off. Sorry for being a silent reader.
Two. I'm not sure why you've removed the previous parts but apparently it's cuz some female commented some rubbish stuff on this ff , which i find really stupid for some reason. I mean if she didn't like the story shw did have the option of not reading it. You'd call someone a fool, if they still continue doing something they dont like, right?
So anyways. I absolutely love your story. And it is infact because of the sole reason that it has Arjun and Riya in completely different yet realistic roles in the ff. Makes the story more relatable of sorts.
And I was kinda out of town so couldn't catch up on the 13th and 14th part of the ff. Sorry for putting it so bluntly but can you please re-update it soon, cuz I'm dying to read the 15th and 16th part but cant read that cuz I havent read the previous ones. :p
And I love your story even more with wvery part you update so please keep writing cuz you'll alqays keep gettimg crazy females like that fool to keep you from writing, but you'll also have us on the other side, and I'm sure we easily outweigh them. ;) :p :)

Chapter 16- The two faces of love

PAST

After the whole showdown Riya and Abhi hadn't faced each other .The more Abhi thought of it the angrier he used to get .There were no clarifications from any of them and more he thought about it, the more it hurt him.

In midst of all the mess Riya was the one who was suffering the most .She hadn't tried to talk to Abhi , her self respect wouldn't allow her ever. He had said that he believed her but his next set of words clearly contradicting the same .She was fed up of trying to explain things to everyone and yet no one would believe her. As an outcome of all this mess she had found a great friend in Shree who actually along with Chotu made sure that nothing ever hurt her .They had become so protective of her that they never would let her go alone , but would always accompany her. It was only with them that she used to relax. Her relationship with Arjun didn't change a bit, he behaved as nothing had happened and of course the guys always used to get away in these scenarios.

It was one such day when she had tried to talk to Abhi only to have him say '"I need time". She had spent the whole day crying not on the fact that he still didn't believe her but also that she had lost a friend with whom she could share anything .She thought that everyone would have left for home but alas to her luck Arjun was there and saw her in that condition.

Arjun was about to leave for home but something made him turn towards Riya cabin .the lights were off but he still went there and saw her crying to herself .He felt guilty but he vowed to make sure that he would make her happy.

Riya felt his eyes and quickly wiped her tears and turned towards him

"You didn't leave "

"Neither did you "

"I was just about to leave and she started to pack her bags "

Arjun slowly walked towards her and held her hand .The next moment he was dragging her with him .She wasn't in a state to protest and just went him .Probably she needed someone to just listen to her or to just be with her in silence. She had no idea for who long they were driving but both of them were at the beach .Arjun got her an ice cream and chai for him and the silence prevailed. It was only after few minutes that Riya started to speak

"I saved Abhi from bullies and that's how our friendship started. He used to call me Hitler in childhood "she laughed as she recollected the memory and then went on telling everything about them to Arjun. their friendship, pranks ,Abhi proposal .By the time she had stopped talking tears were flowing from her eyes and Arjun had held her and just let her cry .After a while when her sobs finally subsided he asked her the questions that shook her

"Are you feeling better "

"Yes sorry, you had to listen through all this .I never meant to say but i got you all entangled in the mess and people talking about us etc. I am really sorry Arjun"

"You miss Abhi na "

"Of course I do "

"Which one do you miss Riya "

"What do you mean'

"Do you miss Abhi ' your lover or Abhi your friend "leaving her speechless for a while?

"They both are the same Arjun"

"Unfortunately they aren't, you miss your friend Riya .You miss the one with whom you could share you problems, the one who could guide you. Are u unhappy that your boyfriend doesn't trust you or you are unhappy that your best friend doesn't trust you. Just first try to figure out which Abhi are you missing and then everything will be much better for you "

Riya just processed his words and said ' "I need to go home "

The ride back to her house was filled with many questions, how much Riya had tried she couldn't get Arjun words out of her mind, which Abhi had she actually missed her friend or ...But she got herself out of these thoughts as she saw her house .

She got down and so did Arjun

"Thanks Arjun for today "

"Riya, you apologized to me for getting me into the mess and getting our names together, but what if i dont mind them ...

"Arjun ...

He held her hands and continued "I love you Riya Dutta and have always had and i always will. I thought that I ll never let you know this but the truth can never change , that i love you since i first saw you and it has only grown deeper with time. But dont worry nothing changes i will be still there for you always and forever

Riya was left standing there trying to comprehend what had happened, of course how could she be so blind, his care and his teasing, him always being there for her .She could have seen it before but she didn't or she didn't want to see.Maybe she didnt want to look into her heart and come face to face with the reality

Arjun finally seemed to be at rest .He had told her what he had felt but he could say that only when he saw Abhi waiting for her in the shadows , considering the vulnerable state Riya was in he didn't want her to talk with Abhi , and He had understood Abhi that he would not talk to her for a while because he saw him kissing her and no reaction from her but he didn't knew the state of mind that Riya was in. The truth was that he was scared of loosing her !!!

There were three lives changes that day, Riya whose confusion towards Abhi & Arjun grew . Abhi whose resolve for clear things out was lost somewhere seeing them together and Arjun who had actually managed to speak his out and was know more sure that Riya would be his only

PRESENT

Riya was sitting on the same beach where Arjun had got her before and then had confessed his feelings later on . How had everything changed after that day? She remembered Abhi leaving her and the phone call which had actually was the final nail of their relationship.Him Forgiving her for no mistake
