It was freaking-unbelievably STEAMY!!
I SO wanted to see this scene played out here..and it was perfect to the T!! It was the Maha Rabba Ve of all times!!
But if you are so concerned about that streak of purity you wanted to put in, well you've done brilliantly! Arnav's hotness in action is balanced by Khushi's purity of thought.. And this is love we're reading of.. What could be more divine??
It turned me to a puddle of gooey mush, this chapter. My oh my, Arnav's kisses were all over my mind! No wonder Khushi's legs felt weak. My heartbeat slowed down to a standstill, I tell you, in the process of taking in what was happening!
I just can't tell you exactly what it is I'm feeling... Bliss might just be the word!!
Oh, must Lavanya always see them? Poor dear. If I were her, I would probably be drowning in a pool of self-pity! :(
But you know what attracted me the most to this Chapter? It wasn't the perfect picture you drew of the room with single lit candle. It wasn't the usage of the mirror, or the fact that it totally enhanced the entire scene. It wasn't the description of Arnav's ministrations. It wasn't the narration of Khushi's response. It wasn't the shock of seeing it end incomplete. And it wasn't the blatant denial and defense in Arnav post-interruption.
"His hand reached towards her, "Kushi," he began, his eyes still on what he had let appear on her neck but she stepped away from him."
It was this. This is the purity of love, in just one line. Yes, he accuses her, inspite of it all being his own fault. Yes, he denies his desire inspite of having succumbed to it minutes ago. But Arnav will never, ever deny Khushi his love and care because that is something that comes to him unconsciously. And I love that!
P.S. Why in the world did you cry, 'Make way!'? Did you not see us girls rushing to tug you inside? 😉
P.P.S. Of course this has to be asked: Why does his touch leave marks?? I mean the touch of his mouth/tongue? Obviously it's to do with his curse...But he's hungry late in the night...Comes back with blood on him...His kisses leave marks... Hmm.. I'm thinking
