Part 39:

Arnav went to RM leaving Khushi thinking the loveable moments with him. In gupta house, Khushi was on her bed but she is still awake. Today she is not able sleep but thinking of her husband Arnav who has done all to protect her from evil Apoorv and showed care to her in every way.

" hey devi maiyya, thank you for giving me so much happiness. Sometimes I think that I don't deserve Arnavji, but then when I see badi ma and Arnavji I think that she is the medium through which we are togather. Please devi maiyya, I never thought that I will say this that I want to be his and only his and I truly accept him as my husband whether marriage is done traditionally or not.", khushi conversation with devi maiyya.

RM

In Arnav's room the condition of Arnav is the same as Khushi. Sleep was also not knocking his door. He was pacing his room from every corner to corner and even diagonally.

He was not able to forget, when Khushi was lying below him in the store room. " I cant forget those eyes, that skin, that kiss, that love, that hesitation,shyness… She is very different from other girls. I must say thanks to Mom for giving me such a girl. But she is crazy too. Wait why there is a need to forget her, she is my wife and I will always be with her and never let her go from our life, no matter what." Arnav thought to himself.

He then lyed on his bed and dozed off in few minutes.

It was morning and everyone was busy with some or the other work. But Arnav was nowhere. Anjali asked Muskaan about the whereabouts of his brother.

Muskaan: he is still sleeping.

Anjali: what!!!!!!!!!!! He is still sleeping. Today is his marriage. Mom I cant take it. I am going to his room to make him..(cut by Muskaan)

Muskaan: wait I am going.

Muskaan went to Arnav's room but he was not on his bed. Seeing that a smile came her face. " so now chote is awake, he is excited about today", muskaan thought.

Then only Arnav came out of his washroom without any towel on his waist, just in his innerwear.

Muskaan(with a smile): chote what is this?

Arnav(raising his eye brows): what Mom?

Muskaan(slightly hitting his head with her hand): you are getting married today, have manners to atleast close the door when you are in your room.

Arnav: ohh, that is the case.

Muskaan: yes from today Khushi will be with you in the room so..

Arnav: don't worry. I will follow your words and remember you will never let her come between us. Otherwise you know me..

Muskaan: I know you are Arnav Singh Raizada but don't forget I am your mom and you are my little chote… Now don't waste time and come down for breakfast. And ya panditji told us that marriage timimg will be of afternoon. So don't be late.

Muskaan went out of the room and engrossed herself in work. Arnav came down for the breakfast after sometimes. Everyone was looking him as teasing him just from their eyes. Arnav got irritated and moved from there.

Gupta house

Khushi was moving in every corner of the house and cherishing every momery related to the place. She was trying to control her tears but today is not the day when they are going to stop. Garima was watching her, so she came to Khushi and she made her sit on the sofa besides her.

Garima: I know Khushi what you are feeling right now.

Khushi hugged her tightly.

Khushi: why I cant stay with you all always?

Garima(caressing her hair): beta. I also felt the same but see I am here with you all and I feel very happy with your babuji and you are even luckier that you have you badi ma with you there.

Listening to badi ma's name Khushi felt better and she weeped her tears

Garima: look beta, now that will be your home and you have to manage there only. Trust me Arnav is a very good person because I have seen the honesty in his eyes and everyone in the world can be wrong but not a mother.

" you are right aunty, a mother cant be wrong", shyam just entered the house with Anjali and said.

Anjali(stepping towards Khushi): yes aunty you and mom can never be wrong. Because of you both we are heading towards this marriage.

Shyam handed over the packet to Khushi and said

Shyam: this is the bridal dress. Raizada's have this tradition that you, I mean the bride have to wear the dress from groom side.

Khushi smiled and asked them for any coffee and tea but they refused as they all have lots of work to do. So they moved out confirming them about the timings for marriage.

Everyone packed all the things needed in the marriage rituals and the Gupata family moved to RM for the marriage of their daughter with mighty Arnav Singh Raizada. Within half an hour they all reached RM.

Mami, Nani and Shyam with Muskaan welcomed the Gupta family. Khushi was allotted a different room which was close to Arnav's room. Everyone asked Khushi to get ready as they don't have much time in the shubh mahurat. Payal took her to that room.

Payal: now go and get dress up. I will come after 15 minutes and will do the rest for for you. ok

Khushi: ok jiji. But don't worry I will call you because you know na I am not interested in this make up thing so, you only have to help.

Payal: don't worry Arnavji have planned every thing for that.

Khushi(mermured): laad governor doesn't left anything in his planning..

Payal: what?

Khushi: nothing. You go. So that I will get ready.

Payal left her outside the room. When Khushi entered the room, she was surprised to see Arnav in that room and that too sitting on the bed.

Khsuhi: what are you doing here?

Arnav: this is my house. So I can be anywhere.

Khushi: but I have to get ready. Please go otherwise you only will say that i am the reason for the delay.

Arnav(coming close to her): no body have that guts to say this to you. Well if you want I can help you in dressing up?

Khushi(stepping back): no stop. I can do it. Please leave. You know I cant change when you …(cut by Arnav)

Arnav: but till how many days you will not be able to??? Hmm??

Arnav can very well read the uneasiness on Khushi's face. So he decided to leave the room for her thinking that he has whole life to tease her. Arnav moved out saying " don't be late". This definitely gave her the sigh of relief for Khushi. She started to get dressed up. After sometimes Payal with two girls entered the room. Payal told her that they will handle her everything from their. The girls did her make up and Payal did the job with jewellery. So finaaly their bride is ready to get married.

Khushi: jiji, hume darr kyu lag raha hai(why I am feeling scared?)

Payal(with a smile): this is not the correct time to get scared. The correct one has still some hours to go.(she gave her the wink).

Just then Muskaan and Anjali entered the room. She was astonished by seeing the beauty of her angel. Muskaan was in tears but controlled it as she is very happy today. She asked Payal to bring Khushi down for the pheras.

Khushi slowly moved out as her lahenga is really very heavy to be handled. Infact in many places Payal was helping Khushi to carry it.

Arnav was all lost in Khush. He was not even blinking his eyes after seeing her. Her lahenga was in red color which was complementing her beauty. Choli is of green color with only two doris at the back. The dupatta was the mixture of red and green color. It has heavy embroidery at the bottom which becomes less as it moves up. Arnav came back to the reality when Pandit asked him to sit in the mandap with Khushi. Muskaan made her sit beside Arnav who wearing white classic sherwani which was making him even more hot.

Pandit started chanting mantras. After few minutes pandit asked Arnav to fill Khushi's mange(hair partition). After that Arnav was asked to tie mandalsutra around Khushi's neck(a black pearl's string which is believed to be sacret). Pandit then told Anjali to call Khsuhi's parents to do kanya daan. Shashi came forward to do it. After that anjali was asked to tie the sacret knot for Arnav and Khushi. Both Arnav and Khushi stood up for the pheras. Finally they completed all the 7 pheras. Pandit decleared them as husband and wife.

They looked at each other.

Arnav: so you are happy now?

Khushi was not able to utter a single words but her eyes were speaking all, showing love for him. But they were interrupted by a call on Arnav's phone. He excused himself to take the call.
