Chapter 2: INCOMPLETE
Rey was at home, pacing in the hall. He didn't know how to react. he felt so restless and dizzy. It was three days, three whole days that he had not seen her and not talked to her. After their phone conversation, every other minute, he tried calling her, messaged her, but she did not reply. He had decided, that he will just keep calling her, keep messaging her until she talks to him. But, she destroyed that plan too. After a while, she called him, and told him in an angry hissing voice, that she was busy, so to stop disturbing her, and cut the call before he could pursue her.
He stopped, and took a deep sigh. He sat on the couch, and kept his head in his hands. It was a weird feeling. He felt dizzy. There was emptiness in his heart, he felt like part of his heart was missing, like... And he felt heavy. Heavy with guilt. He very much wanted to talk to her, and tell her to just listen to him once, but with what words?
After all, it was his mistake. He should have told her the second, he sat in the car with Sharon. But, he just did not have the guts. And he knew he hurt her. What kind of boyfriend he was.
Only he knew how he had spent these three days. He had felt so restless, just like he always did, when she was angry, sad or... away from him. He felt like something was wrong, lacking, missing. And he felt so restless, so restless that he could not stay at one place, he would start to adjust himself, pace from here to there, not able to stay still. And when, when she was there, he felt like the world revolved around her. Like she was the center of the universe. And his whole existence was attached to her. Maybe, maybe this was what was called 'made for each other'. Because, until she came, his heart would go from here to there, she brought steadiness in him. And now, his life revolved around her. She was his sun. His every thought, his actions, were according to her. He had no meaning of his life without her.
Still, still he went to Goa without her. He could not even appreciate the beauty of Goa without her. When she was there, even a busy crowd place, with persons like AVP, felt like heaven, felt perfect. He just wanted the time to freeze when he was with her. And without her, even a beautiful place like Goa, felt empty.
Okay. Okay that's enough Rey. Pehle hi bahot time waste kar diya he. Abhi, don't waste time. I just can't stay like this for another minute. I want to see her now. Wo muje sorry bhi nahi bolne de rahi, to koi bat nahi. I will make her listen.
