beautifully written as usual... surprised to see arnav unmoved by his khushi in red... looks like his cherubic angel has supplanted his ethereal one! the image of a sleeping gouri with her proud father unable to take his eyes off her was plain adorable... the description of that toy's condition clearly shows it's the baby's favourite... an image that touches one's heart: a toy lion made of cloth. Its proud ears and mane were now all floppy, unable to withstand the concerted efforts of their owner to chew them into a soggy mess. typical baby memories... no daughter of the effervescent khushi and the naughty arnav can be a total angel... as mentioned earlier, nk seems to be the butt of everyone's teasing and little gouri has joined the bandwagon! and nk takes it all sportingly... arnav's heartfelt thanks to khushi for the miracle they've both created was moving... also loved khushi's gentle teasing reply that lightened the emotionally-charged atmosphere... we can rest assured knowing that gouri will grow up in a world filled with love -- that of her parents and the of her extended family! arnav couldn't stay away from his other angel for long either... he was no slouch while showing her the depth of his love and gratitude!

Being a doctor and a very smart lady, she took a pregnancy test. the matter of fact manner in which payal goes about confirming and announcing her pregnancy had its own humor, but nothing could beat akash's reaction 😆 [such a change from arnavs emotional one when he had learnt of khushi's pregnancy]: "Payal'", he finally managed. "Ji?" "Payal'" "Ji?" "Payal'." That was the sum total of their conversation [a masterly understatement!] as Payal finally took matters into her own hands and hugged her shell-shocked husband.... we all know he's a man of few words but this is just hilarious! thank god for payal, or the rest of the family would never have learnt the news if they had waited for akash to divulge it 😃! it also makes me think that payal must have taken the lead in the bedroom, too, for things to come to this happy pass! thank god that he wasn't always so shell-shocked

aarti bitiyaa already seems to have a baby in nk, the way he 'complains' to amma at the drop of a hat... anand is the best, not to be outdone by buaji as he shamelessly proclaims: "I am trying, Buaji. I am trying very hard'.." [it's always the quiet ones you have to watch out for! both arnav and anand are a case in point... their wives can vouch for their naughty streak, I am sure] just love the contrasting characters that pepper this story, creating a heart-warming image of a loving and supportive family! thank you.
