Really nice ff. i just finished reading the first update to the last in one go and i really liked it. The name for this ff perfectly matches with the updates. I am loving the family that krishna made when she came. Shree, chotu, arjun and sameer became a family. I really loved the fact that sameer forgave arjun and that all the misunderstandings between arjun sameer and krishna were gone in the beginning few updates. Omg.. How could Ayesha be so selfish?!. I was pretty sad when krishna died :'( i cried when shree read the letter. Our shree is growing up and becoming the support his family need right now... So proud of him. That sick sikander!!! I hope he dies soon!!!! :@ please update soon ...

Tears were flowing from everyone's eyes but for her, they wiped them... sameer turned towards Arjun and saw him smiling...

"Arjun..."

"haan sam..."

"kya hua hai... kishu hume chodke chali gayi aur tum muskuraa rahe ho??"

"wo kahin nahin gayi sam... wo zinda hai..."

"kya?? Kya keh rahe ho tum...???"

"haan sam... wo zinda hai...aur hamesha rahegi..hum sab ke dilo me... yaadein kabhi nahin marti sam...kabhi nahin..."

"Arjun..."

"don't worry sameer... I wont go back to my older self. I will live... she has asked me that one simple thing so ll... tum log waapas jaane ki taiyaari karo.."

"aur tum Arjun?"

"I ll also... but give me some time...please... I promise ki main waapas aaunga... bus mujhe thoda waqt chahiye sam...thodasa..."

"thik hai... jaisi tumhari marzi Arjun... we all will be waiting for you..."

"tum aise kaise kar sakte ho dev? How could you??"

"I had no other option riya... koi aur option nahin tha mere paas"

He held his head in his palm.

"par, kyun???? Kabhi un sab ke baare mein socha hai tumne?? Unpe kya beetegi??"

"I know... par its for their own good... aur tumhare liye riya..."

"mere liye? I don't understand you"

"jo bhi maine kiya I did it for you..he threatened me... I don't want to lose you riya... agar main aisa nahin karta to... please ye baatkisi ko bhi mat batana riya...please..."

"dev..."

It was evening when commissioner visited along with his team and paid their respect to Krishna. Soon her body was shifted to another hospital accompanied by Dr. Dev.

Comm.., saw the condition of every team member and asked them to take leave for few days and rest which sameer straight away refused so did other team members. They wished to leave to Mumbai as soon as possible. Police officer Upadhya, was handed over to ETF and charged for murder of ACP Krishna.

Coelho saw Arjun standing alone, away from all and went to him. he kept an arm on his shoulder and made Arjun turn to him.

"Arjun, kaise ho?"

"theek hun sir..."

"missing Krishna?"

"nope... I am not. Miss to unhe kiya jaata hai jo humse door chale jaate hai.. par Krishna mere saath hai. Why will I miss her sir?"

"par Arjun..."

"I am not in denial sir. I know and understand everything... i know what i am doing"

"waapas unke saath jaa rahe ho?"

"nahin sir.. I want to be here for few days... uski yaadon ke saath... wahan jaunga to shayad main jee nahin paaunga..."

"but Arjun I don't want you to become that rude, heartless person you were after roshni..."

"I wont be... I just need some time... I need to talk to you about something else also... don't tell this to anyone.. not even sameer...disclose it when they reach and settle in Mumbai..."

"bolo arjun..."

"sameer sir ye hai papers..unke death certificate..."

Sameer took them without uttering anything. His heart cried, wanted to scream and take out all the pain, but he could not.. he saw Shree chotu sitting there with dia, with unshed tears in their eyes...

Shree was the closest thing kishu had after him and Arjun...her younger brother...he saw and went to them.

"Shree, chalo chalna hai..."

"dada, kya hum yahan kuch aur din nahin rukh sakte?"

"Shree, tum uske aakhri dinon ko yaad karna chahte ho kya?? Yahan humne bohut kuch khoya hai... yaad hai na ki usne kya kaha hai humse??? Hum log waapas jaayenge aur uske saath bitaye har pal ko khushi ke saath yaad karke jiyenge...uske liye..."

"aur jiju..."Shree's voice chocked

"Arjun wants to be here for some days...let the wound in his heart heal Shree...its he second time he lost his love... thoda waqt do usse... he will be back.."

"Theek hai dada... jaisa aap kahe.."

"riya ki treatment abhi tak poori nahin hui hai so she ll stay back with dev. I have asked her to take care of Arjun...anvi humaare saath aa rahi hai..."

"thik hai..."

The next morning they all left for Mumbai, without two major people in their lives...

It was a week they had returned to Mumbai and all news channels telecasted the news about Krishna, her bravery, her Death. The team was shattered but gathered themselves and worked hard. They did not want to upset Krishna by not following her words. They tried to smile but most of the times they failed. Everything around them reminded them of her...may that be their house, office or SUV. Everywhere they found her speaking, smiling, teasing them... they were trying, trying very hard...

One afternoon...

"YE AAP KYA KEHRAHE HAI SIR...? Arjun aisa kabhi nahin kar sakta... kabhi nahin..."

"he did Rathod...he did it. He had asked me not to tell you anything until you all had settled back... ye raha uska resignation letter..."

"no Arjun...kyun kiya tumne aisa...kyun???!! kyun resign kiya..."

"give him some time Rathod... let him digest the fact...and see we can recruit him back as soon as he is ready... he is still an ACP... aur riya bhi to wahan hai na... he will protect her..."

"par he will go back to what he was earlier... I cant let him be alone... I need to speak to him..."

At the same time he received arjun's call.

"hello sam..."

"hello baad mein Arjun... ye sab kya tamasha laga rakha hai tumne? ETF se resign kar rahe ho???? Kyun?"

"kuch waqt ke liye sam... I ll be back to eat you brain... itni aasaani se nahin chodunga tumhe main... bus I need some time... please...'

"par Arjun..."

"sam... mana mat karna...krishna ke khatir mujhe thoda waqt de... I promise main waapas aaunga..."

"thik hai... I undertand you... but stay in touch ok..."

"yeah sameer... I ll call you often... bye...take care...esp Shree ka dhyaan rakhna.."

"oki arjun... take care..."

He broke the news to the team and all became gloomy once again...

Waqt beet ta gaya... months passed... there were only phone calls from Arjun... he never visited Mumbai...

It was already 7 months that Arjun lived in Bangalore.

No one knew what he was doing... slowly the frequency of calls were reduced, calls which they would receive daily turned twice a week and then weekly.. the previous month he just called them twice.

Sameer had enough of all this and tried to call him. but his cell came to be switched off. He paced the length of his room and suddenly heard Shree's voice

"dada... riya ne kaha ki they have boarded Mumbai flight. They ll reach here in an hour..."

"iska matlab... oki... pallavi...pallavi jaldi se guest rooms ready karwao..."

"no need dada... wo...riya...dev ke ghar jaa rahi hai.. but they are coming here first..."

Sameer was shocked at the beginning but thought may be that was for good.

"thik hai... Arjun ke room ko ready karwado Shree..." with that he went to study room

He took a photo frame and had unshed tears in his eyes.

"tum kyun chaligayi kishu? Kyun? Tere bina yahan kuch accha nahin lagta...kaash tum waapas aa paati humare zindagiyon mein..." he kissed the photo and placed it back in the drawer. He wiped his tears and went out.

After some time riya and dev reached rathod's house.they were warmly welcomed and they started speaking. No one brought up ay matter about kishu as all knew that it brings tears in everyone's eyes and would really hurt Krishna.

But sameer's eyes were searching for only one person.

Arjun.

He was no where to be seen. He first thought that Arjun might be facing difficulty in entering this house but was anxious when he did not enter even after half n hour.

"riya, Arjun kahan hai???? Abhi tak ander nahin aaya who?"

riya looked at dev and then turned to sameer

"kya matlab hai sir aapka? Arjun sir to 15 days pehle hi Bangalore se nikal chuke the..."

"kya keh rahi ho riya??? Arjun yahan nahin aaya?? Kahan hai wo?"

Dev took over from riya and continued

"sir wo 15 days back he packed his things and said he has to leave. When we asked he said nothing. To we thought that he is with you all..."

"DAMMIT!!!!! Kya horaha hai yahan?? Last time he called me was 15 days ago... kahan hai wo??? Aur tum kaise jaane de sakte the usse????"

"sir hum log kar bhi kya sakte the? Unhe rokna to sirf Krishna di ke bas mein tha..."

Sameer sat on sofa next to Shree. This was too much. He was drifting again, away from them.

"Shree, track arjun's mobile. Kahin na kahin to milna hi chahiye... riya, dev usne aur kuch kaha tha kya?"

"zyada kuch nahin. Bas kehrahe the ki aapki anniversary pe aapko surprise dena hai... aur kuch nahin..."

"humari anniversary to 1 month baad hai..."

That night was hard on everyone...

First it was kishu who left them all with a hollowness in their heart and now Arjun. There was no trace of him.

All were worried and tensed...

It was the same night Shree found a mail in his inbox. He timidly opened it and read the mail. It was from Arjun.

It had simple lines

'Next month aaunga Shree. Kisiko mat batana. Uss din sab ka dard mitega... uss insaan ko saza milegi jisne sab ki zindagi tabah ki. Bas that day take care of pallavi, dia, riya and anvi.and even if you get to know where am I, don't disclose it to anyone please...
