AHHH this was just so soothing for me. I just loved how you made Arnav come to a realization whilst at a beach, with the sand, and the sea. (Arnav = Ocean, did you do that on purpose cause I loved it either way!) It was very, pure and clean. The way he was slowly taking off his clothes, as if taking off his mask. Those hurtful words that were said to him, it really did effect him and I'm glad. Just the way he described Khushi, her smile, her laughter, the way she played in the water. It was just so refreshing, and sad, and romantic. It was really vulnerable as well. And I loved it. This is by far my favorite chapter that focuses on Arnav, because it shows a change to his character. A side of him that I haven't seen, where he's just relaxed and thinking...and that little tease of a smile (okay like 1/8 of a smile while he was playing in the sand/water). For a second there I thought that he was just going to run over to her and give her a hug or idk an outburst of some sort. Deep thinking and control doesn't allow that though. He still doesn't understand what she's trying to say, he really doesn't? I guess he's not as smart in the communications area as he is in business. But hopefully we'll see a change in his approach. Maybe he'll come to realize his mistake (still fretting over Aman and the necklace tsk tsk!) and talk it out with Khushi. Or he will keep it all in until something else goes wrong? Though I would have liked some dialogue between him/Khushi/NK...this was great. Ahhh. Also I keep thinking about Iktara Iktara, and Pani da Rang (okay which are both Barun's fav songs) for the theme of this chapter. Can't wait for the next one ahhh!!!

The last three updates have come in quick succession and I am not complaining. The last chapter was particularly beautiful. Once I was visiting LA with my husband and we went to the Santa Monica beach. It was lovely, but overcrowded and although I hail from India, I hate dirt and grime. So for the life of me, I could not step into the water. My husband kept teasing me that he has to buy a pristine beach to make me lose my inhibitions, but then it is what it is! 😉 But anyways, I loved the scene by the beach. You have described Arnav's every movement in such detail that I could simply close my eyes and imagine the exact scene. It was beautifully worded Krani. Arnav's brain has been on an over-drive for quite a while now. Poor guy has no idea what he should do to appease his wife. Arnav has never been a very emotional person, hence it is a bit difficult for him to understand Khushi's state of mind. But he is testing uncharted waters, and hopefully soon enough he will get an idea as to how to navigate forward. That is how every relationship works. We make mistakes and that's how we learn. The problem is that Arnav's elephant sized ego and pride always gets the better of him. He needs to realize if and why he needs K in his life. Once he sets his priorities straight, he will know what to do. I hope you don't make us wait for too long for the next update!!! 😊
