Thanks for the update KRani. A painful childhood, youth continue to mar Arnav's present. After all his lack of trust in people stems from his painful memories. There have been numerous discussions on the contrast between Khushi's happy mask and Arnav's uncontrolled anger in IPK and the other fictional works based on these characters.
Yes, they were both orphaned young and made sacrifices for their families. But Arnav experiences something that damages him immensely - a father who didn't love his mother. For any child that is the ultimate betrayal. I personally feel the biggest difference in the way Arnav and Khushi turn out later in their lives boils down to that experience and you are making us feel it all over again.
And on a happy note - our man is falling for our Khushi babe and how :):):) He even knows her scent :):):) Khushi is finding herself and I love the way she is pushing his limits. Good Chapter.
Enjoy your writing coz Arnav and Khushi are so in character. I miss them so much and your story helps with that nostalgia, a bit.
