Chapter 5C - The Disaster From The Past
She was a beautiful girl, with innocent hazel eyes. ASR got back to earth when he heard her voice. And then she told her name to the instrutor.
Khushi: I'm Khushi Gupta.
Seeing the stressed Khushi, ASR couldn't stop himself from going to her.
ASR: Hey khush, relax ok! its not a big deal being late.
Khushi looks at him awkwardly. She hated when someone called her Khush. She already made her mind to avoid enemity and friendship. And now she was wondering who was this guy trying to be friendly with her. Even he was handsome to death, she prefered to push off her thoughts.
ASR: Hi I'm Arnav. You can call me ASR.
ASR hands out his hands to her.
Khushi just gave him a blank look.
Khushi: Its Khushi! Excuse Me!
And she moved away. he was shocked. Never ever before any girl ignored him like khushi did. Surprisingly ASR did not took it in a bad way. He was impressed by her attitude. He was now curious to know that character who's not affected by his assassinated charm. After the initiation was done, the candidates as well as khushi all were leaving when suddenly she pushed Malaika by mistake.
Khushi: I'm sor...
Malaika: Are you blind khushi?
Khushi was shocked by the sudden voice. She never ever thought even in her worst nightmare to bump into Malaika.
Khushi: What... what are you doing here?
Malaika: Well, the usual, sista! To make your life hell.
Khushi was still trying to understand the situation when ASR came to them.
ASR: Hey sweetheart, What's up?
Malaika instantly jumped to the arms of ASR.
Malaika: Hey Arnie boy, missing me already!
Khushi was in her horrifying thoughts to even realise the friendly guy who met her before.
Khushi: Excuse me, i got to go
And Khushi rushed from the conference room. From the looks exchanged between the two ladies, ASR felt that Khushi & Malaika knew each other. In between his flirting with Malaika, he questioned her tactfully about Khushi.
ASR: Hey any problem with that khushi girl?
Malaika: Nothing boy, just an orphan bitch, i can deal with her, Don't be so protective about me!
And What came after, Arnav never expected it. He was furious. He lost control on his anger which rarely happens to him. He didnt't like the words Malaika said for Khushi. He pushed her so hard that she fell down. Luckily for her that everyone already left sparing her the embarassment.
ASR: Don't ever come near me again. Bitch!! You are disgusting. I can't believe you've been hanging my arms all this time. I surely need to take several baths to get off your disgusting scent from me. And you better stay away from Khushi! I'm warning you!
During the next few days, ASR tried hard to be friends with Khushi but she managed to brush off any of his help and prefers to stay alone. She talked only when necessary concerning the task and preparations for the competitions. ASR could sense khushi's anxiety and he was troubled by this.Never before ASR has been so concerned for someone. Especially for a girl. In fact for the first time, he did not feel like getting the girl into bed even if she was irresistibly beautiful. That thinking towards Khushi was far away from his thoughts. He felt much more than lust for Khushi. Khushi's eyes were talking too much pain for him to stay idle. ASR tried all possible ways to get khushi to like him. Finally, one boring day, asr succeeded getting a shy smile from khushi. At last his silly jokes worked. The following weeks went smoothly with the different rounds for the competition. Day by day, Khushi's behaviour towards ASR changed a lot. She liked his presence, his jokes, his mischievous acts. And they finally became good friends. Khushi knew his lifestyle and she truly hated his flirting. But he was being sincere to her and never pretended to be someone else. He assumed his personality and he loved being a flirt. Around him, Khushi felt special as he never behaved in that way with her. He respected her a lot.
The end of the competition was near. ASR and Khushi's friendship was much stronger. Khushi nomore hesitated to talk or smile with ASR. She even laughed out loud to his jokes.Slowly She was coming back to her old self. For the day before the finals, the judges of the competition organised a party for the candidates. After much persuasion, ASR finally convinced khushi to come with him to the party.
