Chapter Seventeen :

And there goes my heart. It shattered into pieces. And I'm going to call you evil because you knew this was going to happen. But I can't call you that because I love this story too much as well.

And the thing is, these are so realistic. The way you write it also makes it so realistic, that it affects the reader to this extent.

I can't even hate Sharman for choosing his family, because being adopted, he does feel that obligation and the feeling of being indebted to his family...for making him a part of their family. But it breaks my heart to see just how much Nisha has suffered as a result of it.

Why didn't Sharman's parents accept Nisha? Even though she tried so hard to become a part of their family?

And you know what? I can't even blame either Sharman or Nisha for what happened. Its just...fate.

And yet again, a part of me makes me want to just grab Sharman and tell him you can't live separately like that. You can't, you know, separate parts of your family just like that.

So does Sharman regret for sleeping with her now? Is that why he left? That is just going to break Nisha more...not at all help her. But again, I sort of get why he did it... :(

I think my heart shattered a little more when I read about Anjali. That was so damn painful.

Chapter Eighteen :

The pain doesn't ease one bit for me after reading this update. :(

The real scene of what happened that fateful day. And I want to throw something at all the Raizada family , except Payash, that is...for just NOT giving Khushi a chance to even talk, and for willingly assuming the worst of her , even though they HAVE seen her good side...and know just how beautiful she is on the inside.

And what can hurt more...that despite braving all the accusations in the day, from her husband too, she still willingly submits to him at night? And she wants to give him another chance now. Wow.Khushi is something else. And I don't think anybody can be that selfless.Ever.

Poor Nisha. She was given a glimpse back into whatever she always wanted , only for it to be taken away from her...again. Damn you Sharman!

Chapter Nineteen :

I have this lump in my throat that is not going to subside any time soon.

How painful is it, to know that your own parents don't want you? That they hate your existence? And to know, that they don't want your responsibility? I can't even fathom the pain that this brings, and to think Nisha had to go through all this, at such a young, tender age. No wonder she doesn't like her parents.

And that's why it hurts for her so much, because the person she loved, left her for his parents, who didn't like her either. Oh man. Now I don't like Sharman that much anymore. He KNEW all this. He knew her past. And yet...

I don't really know what more to say Rae, this chapter was so heartbreaking.

Chapter Twenty :

Wow.

It was basically a conflict that Nisha fought with herself. Memories to battle the darkness that is threatening to overwhelm everything.

And isn't it lovely, that the only thing that actually gave her the strength to fight the darkness was friendship. The bond between real friends, that propelled Nisha to actually try and fight it all. Absolutely beautifully written.

I especially loved the way Nisha first resigned herself to the darkness, then thought of her best friend, to finally fighting it all.

I am speechless and can't really think of more to write here to express how I feel, so that's it for this one. :)
