PART 24

It was Sunday morning and all were seated for breakfast. Sundays were usually slow in Shantivaan as, it's a day when Arnav stays in home , and no ASR and his no AR . so that generally makes Sundays slow , beautiful and LAZY. Arnav came downstairs and took his seat infront of Anjali and near Nani. Everybody was there in the dinning table except his Mamaji , oh he was out of country. He noticed Nani , she was busy eating , while his Di and Jija ji were laughing at some inner jokes, God knew what was that, and Mami ji , she was as usual busy seeing herself in her small mirror and then eating. And Aah !!! there was Akash looking at him pleadingly, and Arnav nodded and then gaining everyone's attention he said

"Mujhe aur Akash ko aaplogo se kuch important baat karni hai' so breakfast ke baad hall me sab baat karenge." [I and Akash wanted to talk something important so after breakfast, everyone pls go and sit in the hall.]

Nani turned to him and asked

"Kya baat hai Chote , kono jaruri baat hai kya ?"

"Haan Nani , its important."

Shyam looked at Arnav and said

"Saale Sahab hume toh breakfast ke baad hi nikalna hai.. kuch jaruri meetings hai ' toh hum'"

Arnav smiled a bit and said

"Koi baat nahi jija ji aapki better-half toh rahegi '." [No problem jija ji ur better-half would be there.]

And both Anjali and Shyam smiled at this.

Breakfast was done and as Arnav said everybody went to the hall and sat down on sofas.

Arnav for once looked at Akash and said

"Nani , Mami and Di ' Akash aap 3 no se kuch kehna chahta hai' kyu Akash." [Nani , Mami and Di , Akash want to tell you guys something.]

And all turned towards Akash .

"Dadi , Maa , Di ' woh baat yeh hai ki ' mai' woh'." And he continued stammering.

Seeing Akash's condition , Arnav thought its better, he breaks the news and said

"Actually baat yeh hai ki Akash ko ek ladki se pyaar hai' and he want to marry her, isn't it Akash ?"

Akash looked at his bhai, and nodded and said

"Haan yehi baat hai'"

Mami was the 1^st to speak and she said

"Akash bitwa whos that girl , kaun hai uhh ladki jara hum ko bhi batao'kono modelwa hai' ya kono big businessman hi daughter hai ??"

Nani a bit irritatingly

"Aahh !! Manorama' uhh ko bolna ka.. mauka toh dijiye.. haan Akash bitwa boliye'. " [Manorama, let him speak, ya Akash bitwa tell.]

And Anjali all the while was smiling thinking "Aacha toh yeh baat hai' inhi se who chup chup ke milne jate the'" [Oh so this was happening , Akash always went to meet this girl.]

Akash a bit scared said

"Unka naam Payal hai'." [Her name is Payal.]

"Payal ??? ihh kono madel ka naam toh nahi lagat hai'. " [Payal , it doesn't seem like any model's name.]

"Maa Payaljii koi model nahi hai'." [Maa Payalji is not any model.]

"Heeeinnn !!! toh phir ka hai'" [Then what she is ?]

Arnav while all this conversation was sitting silently and was observing everybody with his ASR look and he understood that Mami was certainly going to create the problem, so to play safe and to finalise this DEAL , the Chairman should be convinced and with that he turned towards Nani and said in a cool , controlled business man tone.

"Nani'.. dekhiye I know ki aapke liye sanskar maine rakhte hai' nd Payal is really sanskari, ya yeh aalag baat hai ki she belongs to a middle class family , but I can guarantee you , aap uss se ek bar milogi toh aap ko jarur pasand aayegi, and according to me She will be the best choice for our Akash as well as Akash loves her. And phir woh full gharelu hai' and she her full name is Payal Gupta ' she is Khushi's elder sister."

Nani was listening to Arnav , and hearing his speak, so well about a girl, gave her full assurance and she nodded and said

"Aagar Khushi bitiya ki behen hai toh sanskari hogi' aur isme hume koi shak nahi hai' humne unki tasveer dikha dijiyega ek bar.. thik hai Akash bitwa." [If she is Khushi bitiya's sister , then theres no doubt that she will be well mannered , just show me once her picture Akash bitwa.]

Akash nodded and thought how easily Bhai convinced Dadi with his business man tactic' hmm this was the reason he was the Buisness tycoon, but now it was turn to convince the most important person.

Arnav turned towards Mami and said

"Mami ' I know Payal koi model nahi hai.. or koi bari business man ki beti nahi hai, still she is the perfect choice for Akash. Mami just think aagar woh koi bari model hoti or koi bahut rich family ko belong karti toh isse aapka kya fayda hota ??? You would hv got one profit and i.e ki aap aapne friends ko bol pati ki meri daughter-in-law yeh hai , meri daughter-in-law who hai .. but baki chaaro oor se aapke liye sirf loss hoga' coz ghar mein na woh aapka izzat kregi and na woh aapse daregi aur na woh aapki baat manegi' bt aagar Payal aaye toh har taraf se aapke liye sirf profit hi profit hai' now aap sochiye' Mami aapko PROFIT karna hai or LOSS"

Arnav has successfully pushed Mami into a dilemma and now Mami was thinking about it the way Arnav suggested and finally she said

"Nahi Nahi hum ko kono problem nahi hai.. ihh marriage se'"

And hearing this everybody smiled and Akash showed them all a picture of Payal. And even Mami had to agree that Payal was beautiful.

"Phir der kis baat ki aaj hi chalte hai na' Shagun lekar'." Anjali said all excited and Nani agreed to her and Mami also agreed.

Now everybody dispersed for preparing The Shagun thing , while Akash went to call his dad and inform about it , Arnav went to his room and called Khushi.

Khushi who was busy cooking food , as soon as she heard her mobile ring , she rushed to the room and saw it was Arnav. She didn't knew why , but she blushed a bit and then picked up the phone and said

"Hello !!!"

"Hey !!!!" his simple 'hey' made her heart skip a bit.

"Khushi ? u there ?"

"Ha.. Haan'."

Arnav chuckled and asked

"Kya hua ???" [What happened ??]

"Ku' kuch bhi toh nahi '"

"Ok listen maine call kiya tha yeh bolne ke liye.. ki ..aaj sham ko hum tumhare ghar aa rahe hai shagun lekar." [Ok listen I just called to say that , we will coming to your house in the evening with Shagun.]

Khushi who was busy hearing his voice was not paying enough attention to what he was saying said

"Shagun , par itni jaldi shaadi kyu Arnav .. mera matlab abhi toh humne ek dusre'.se'" [Shagun , but why so early I mean' we have not']

Arnav started laughing hearing her and said

"Khushi hum Payal ke liye Shagun lekar ja rahe hai'." [Khushi we will be bringing Shagun for Payal.]

"Ohh aacha haan mai'"

"Its ok.. tum ghar mein bata dena ok.. c ya in the evening bye.."

"Bye " she said and cutted the phone.

Arnav was still smiling, when Anjali entered in their room and said

"Kya baat hai Chote tum itna jyada muskura rahe ho.. kis se baat kar rahe the ?? " [Whats the matter Chote' you are smiling so much' with whom were you talking.]

"Di aap bhi na.. chalo batao kya bolne aayi thi'" [Di you are really.. ok tell why you came.]

"Oh haan hum toh bhool hi gaye' woh darasal tumhe khush dekhar aur smile karte hue dekhkar hume bahut Khushi hoti hai' haan toh hum yeh puchne aaye the kit um humare saath chaloge na.. Sagun lekar ???"

"Of course di I will come.."

Anjali smiled and while leaving the room thought

"Haan haan hum jaante the tum aaoge aakhir Khushiji se bhi toh milna hai'." And she left the room with a smile .

It was evening and finally Raizada Parivaar came to Gupta house. Buaji was shocked , as Khushi didn't informed her, and it was not possible even to tell her buaji , coz she didn't knew what she should tell her.

After making them sit and knowing that they were Arnav's family, buaji was happy. Then Nani being the eldest member of the family said

"Madhumatiji hume aapki choti bhatiji Khushi bitiya bahut pasand hai' aur uhh tu kabhi kabar humre ghar bhi aati hai.. par hum yaha aaye hai.. aapki bari bhatiji Payal bitiyaka haath mangne humare Akash bitwa ke liye, humare bitwa ko aapki bhatiji bahut pasand hai.. ihh khatir hum chahte hai ki'"

Madhumati was shocked to hear this , she had never expected in her dreams also that a rishta will come from such a big house for her neice and she folded her handsin a Namaste position and said

"Devyaani ji ihh toh humara, aur humare pure parivaar ka saubhagya hoga, aagar humari bitiya aap ki ghar ki bahu ban sake.. hum toh dhanya ho jayenge'"

"Toh Madhumatiji hum rishta pakka samjhe ??? " asked Naniji .

"Haan humari taraf se toh na ki kono gunjayas hi nahi hai'.. kyunki iss se aacha rishta humari bhatiji Paheliya ke liye aur ho hi nahi sakta"

Anjali smiled and said

"Buaji phir bhi aagar ek baar aap Payalji ki aamma , bauji se baat kar le toh aacha hoga."

"Haan haan bitiya hum abhi phone lagate hai unko' par hum jante hai Shahsi babua aur Garima ko bhi kono takleef nahi hogi iss baat se.."

And they called Shashi and Garima and had a talk, and all agreed to this rishta. Nani asked Anjali to call Panditji and ask him to come in Gupta house. Panditji was in some place near to Lakshmi nagar, so he came and after that it was decided that the engagement or sagai will be held on Tuesday , a day after tomorrow as there were no other auspicious day other than this is near 1 month.

So everybody agreed to it. And after giving the Shagun and all everybody decided to leave. Elders were outside getting inside the cars , when Akash Payal came followed by Khushi to Arnav and said

"Bhai thanks aap hi ke wajah se yeh sab possible ho raha hai'" [Bhai thank you because of you only, all this things are getting possible]

Arnav smiled and said

"Its ok Akash' and then I will be getting the best bhai award too'." And all 3 laughed at this and Akash continued

"Bhai mai aur Payalji chahte hai ki humari engagement ki saari taiyaari aap aur Khushiji milkar kare." [Bhai , I and Payalji want that all the preparation for our engagement is made by you and Khushiji only.]

At this Khushi looked at Akash and Arnav said

"Ok fine, waise bhi jyada time nahi bacha hai preparations ke liye, we will do it."

And Akash after bidding adieu to his Payalji went towards the car too leaving Khushi and Arnav. Arnav came a bit close to Khushi and whisphered

"Kal ka who aagar tumhe pasand nahi aaya hai toh tum abhi wapas kar sakti ho"

Khushi instantly looked at him with her shocked eyes and then she said

"ko..koi jarurat nahi hai'"

Arnav smiled

"Ok fine , that means you liked it' ok bye' c ya in office tomorrow aur time par aana ' late mat hona , bahut kaam karna hai." [And come in time , don't be late' lots of work to do.]

And with that Arnav went to his car , and the whole Raizada family left for Shantivan.

NOTE

Ok guys trust me i know , how rubbish it was , but I promise from next part you will not get to complain , coz all the fun is going to start soon.

It was filler and I know that , Part 25 will be updated soon , and i guess from this week , i will be updating once a week as my school is starting.
