Jab Tak hai Jaan. (Part 2)
It was very late, till all the wedding celebrations were over. But, it was time for Gupta family to leave. Time to do 'Bidaai' of Payal. They collected near the door to bid last good bye to Payal.
There are in Arnav's room.Khushi was wrapped around bare arms of Arnav, which held her tight...never letting her go. Khushi's head was rested on his chest. Her hands near his heart.
Downstairs.
"Arre! Where is Khushi? Its time to go now", Remarked Buaji.
"And, where is Nannav?", NK too asked. Everybody started looking here and there to find them. They also noticed that they were not there for whole wedding function. Naani & Anjali thought that they must be alone somewhere, probably have confessed their love. Yeah! They need to be together alone, so, Naani said :
"Arre! Madhumatiji, its very late now. How can we let you go so late? I know its not allowed for girl's family to stay with her, but we your safety can't be put at stake for the sake of Do's & Dont's. Please stay here for tonite. You may leave tomorrow."
"But...", Buaji was interrupted.
"No ifs or buts Buaji! Please stay!", Anjali pleaded.
With no options left, Gupta family agreed. Arrangements were made for them.
"Where is Khushi?", Buaji asked again.
"She must be somewhere here Buaji. Don't worry! I'll tell her and she'll come soon here!", Anjali said, with a smile. She closed the door, smiled at herself & called on Arnav's cell.
'Switched off.'
Anjali smiled again & went to her room.
Morning time.
Arnav woke up , but stayed on bed beside her. Her head was near his heart, lips touching his chest. He looked around and noticed their clothes, tangled with each other, like them.😳
Flashbacks of last night bought smile on his face. Finally, she was his. Only His. Now, no one could take her from him. He loved her..& more than that, she too loved him, accepted him, the way he was. Her agreement to spend a night with him...that too before marriage was a big proof of the trust she had on him. He then, looked at her, her baby like face...her rosy lips...her innocence, tempted him to love her more and more.
He was observing her, resting his head on one of his hand... when her sleep too broke. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at his gazing eyes. He gave her a broad smile. She too smiled. She saw her hands, that rested on his bare chest and blushed a bit, thinking about last night. Her smile, her blush couldn't be hidden from him.
He bent down...cupped her face from one side, bent down & shared a passionate kiss with her. She didn't stop him, rather kissed him back more passionately. The broke their kiss & looked at each other again. He said softly,
"Do you wish to leave this bed?😳"
She blushed.
He smiled and gave his last night shirt to her...so that she could cover herself. Khushi took it and wore it. He then passed her Lehenga, which sometime back was lying on his shirt. She wore it too, then, came out of the blanket. She picked up her blouse & dupatta and made her way to bathroom.
She closed the door of bathroom. Dreamingly, she went to the bathing area. She was blushing, thinking about everything that happened last night. She opened the shower & bathed.
After bathing, she came out...drying her hair. Arnav has also got up and wore last night's trouser & a different shirt. He was sitting on his bed, waiting for her to come. She came and sat beside him, her heads down. He knew whar was going in her mind. He came in front of her, knelt down on his knees & held her hands...
He said softly, " Khushi! I love you & will love you forever. I won't let you cry and will give all the happiness of this world. I know, I am flawed, a stubborn kid...who needs love and only love from you. I will do anything to make you happy Khushi", He paused.
Then, with a confident voice he said ", Will you marry me Khushi?"
Khushi lifted her face...eyes filled with tears...Of happiness. She left his hand & Hugged him. She caressed back of his hand and whispered
"Yes."
Arnav's happiness knew no bounds. He hugged her hard. After spending some moments in each other's arms, Arnav broke their hug...Kissed her forehead and said,
" I too will bath now. After that we'll go down, and I will ask answer all the question, if any of them will put up & then, we will go to your home, to ask for your hand." He got up, winked at her and said,
"Another bathe?"
She blushed and turned her face to other side.😆
