Loved khushis strength, although it hurt like hell when she was telling him all that he'd done to her...
But i felt really bad for Arnav when the police was saying stuff about not being really married to khushi...
And khushi was shocked??
Why???
And shyamu??? Dead???:)

I just caught up with all the updates after Ch 2.

Juhi, I admire you for the way you are handling this story. You are almost brutal in your description of Arnav's realization of his own role in this tragedy. I like that you have not tried to justify his actions in any way, that HE has finally faced the fact that it was his irrational, impulsive response to what he witnessed on the terrace that put Khushi in such a vulnerable situation. The transition from his initial, completely self-centered (and typically Arnav) reaction to what happened to his shifting the focus to Khushi was beautifully described.

And Khushi's inner strength, which has always been evident but never adequately explored in the show, comes through strongly. Yes, she is the victim of a horrific crime, but she will not let herself be victimized, despite the sheer crassness of the comments made by those investigating officers. I salute you for the sensitivity and realism with which you are tackling this.

And now the fact that their marriage is not even registered, making it null and void in the eyes of the law. I'm glad you touched upon that. It's time we moved beyond the typical Hindi movie/serial scenario where "chutki bhar sindoor" and a mangalsutra is all that's needed to make a marriage!! One more nail in Arnav's mental coffin!

And now NK...what do I say about him? Another character in the show that remained completely ignored except for the occasional buffoonery. Your NK is a sensitive, rational human being whose respect for Khushi supersedes everything else, including his own unrequited love for her. There is a stark difference between Arnav's reactions and NK's, between Arnav's actions and NK's.

Looking forward to reading more...

khushi has recovered, in the sense that she has athered her inner strength around her like a cloak, but full recovery from shyam's assault and arnav's emotional torture will be a long way in coming... each and every word of hers was like a knife... it was about time that arnav came face to face with the atrocities he committed against her... when he refers to the vile act does he mean shyam's assault or his own betrayal of khushi? it was an assault just as much as shyam's!

nk's love is truly selfless... respect him for it while feel bad that it is unrequited! khushi needs someone like him in her life to help her heal, and I don't mean it in a romantic way, but as someone who has her best interests at heart! sometimes when one reads arnav's thoughts one is left with the feeling that he looks at the whole scenario from the point of how it affects him and his feelings toward khushi... khusshi must be the focus here

those policewomen raised a pertinent point: with no witnesses and no pandit, who's to say they're married? this will give gossipmongers some added fodder to besmirch khushi's fair name! remember dadi... there are sure to be many more like her who don't hesitate to lay the blame solely on the woman! how much more is khushi to suffer after what was done to her by arnav, by shyam and the daner she will be in even in future as per what shyam threatened her with!

don't even for a moment believe that the body is shyam's... evil doesn't die so readily... it is the ploy of a deeply cunning, psychopathic mind!

You are writing what all sane viewers of the show wanted to see...when people were shouting themselves hoarse over Arnav's redemption, when people were saying manhandling was not cool..this is what it was..physical hurt against or coupled with mental torture...not something anyone should condone...I am glad you are bringing out these points...also about the legality of marriage..you just cannot drag any woman to temple and put a mangalasutra around her neck and poof you are married...what are laws for? But our soap operas flourish on dramas like this...and disrespect to women is always a subtext...

I am not going to comment on shyam's death...from what I have read till now your story is not really about Shyam..it's about his effect on other kirdaar in the story..

When she started listing all those cruel things that had happened to her, I was literally tearing up, equally sad and proud. Sad for her for all the things she's had to endure and proud that she stayed strong throughout. And Arnav deserved that, as well as NK's outburst. Who does he think he is? God? That he can play with people's lives and expect them to forgive him when he says sorry? Repentance starts with an apology and acknowledgement of your mistakes, but it isn't complete unless you do whatever it takes to rectify the situation. And he hasn't done anything yet. So all of them know that they re not legally married, probably not even in the eyes of religion. And whoa, Shyamu is dead? Or is he? Can't put anything past that man .

Good to see Khushi taking out all her pain and telling Arnav although she's blaming him in a way but still
Nk finally told Arnav that he loves Khushi but doesn't matter because she only loved Arnav
they found a body please let it be shyam but i don't think its going to be

Oh no,you left us at the crucial point! I really want to know if the news about Shyam
is true or not.😆

I loved the update.Firstly,because of Khushi's dialogues.Those were simply lovely and
Arnav needed to hear that he is the one who has done real damage to her.
Secondly,NK's confession about his love to Khushi.

Superb update.

Very eagerly waiting for next chapter.
