It is really awesome. It has kept me hooked on since the first chapter. Is Khushi really like what she has been projected by the media.I even doubt that she has committed murders. Is anyone behind all these who is using her name and state for their selfish motives?khushi is aware of her being watched. Will Arnav be able to catch the clue.Eager for the next update.

Chapter 5
~The First Truth~
The next time when I woke up I was still in the bed. It did cross my mind that they'll throw me in that room because of my actions but nothing had happened till now. It wasn't like I wasn't expecting it. I had enough instances to back it up.
It could be because of the new Doctor. He was there when I had told him to not leave me alone. And he was still there when I woke up. But would he'll be there one week from now. In a very short span of time he noticed things that took months for other doctors to find out. He knew there was more to my story. He knew not everything is as it is shown. There's a huge mystery surrounding the hospital, not everything is as it seemed like. And he knows it or he has some idea.
"How are you feeling?" She asked.
I turned and saw her standing at the door. She wasn't wearing my favourite dress and there was no gift in her hand. But she was smiling. And it was the best gift.
"I just woke up," I murmured.
I tried and slowly sat up. The next instance she was sitting beside me on the bed.
"Your arm," She touched the arm and sniffed. I looked up and saw tears pooling in her eyes. Why was she crying? I had told her so many times that it's not her fault but every time something happened, she felt responsible.
She and I, both knew that there was nothing we could do. Whatever had to happen will happen, whether she was there or not?
"I am fine now. So don't even go there. Okay" I wiped her face and smiled which made her smile in return.
"Okay grandma," She replied making both of us laughed.
She was the only constant in my life. She was there to celebrate my happiness, and she was there to help me come out from the dark phase. She knew me better than anyone else. She just knew when I wanted her. Like now.
"I missed your smile baby," She said and hugged me.
"And I miss you," I replied hugging her tightly.
After my last encounter with him, I wasn't sure how long I had now. I wanted to savour each and every moment with her. He must be on alert now. Because Dr. Mailk, he saw him when the door was opened. He must have questions seeing him in my room. And if he went to him first, it meant...
I had to kill.
I shuddered thinking about the consequences. I wasn't ready. I wasn't ready to let him go. He was the first in a long time that showed some genuine concern. After Adam, he was the one I felt who could help me. And he was there when I opened my eyes.
I wanted to talk to him. Tell him things no one knew about. Tell him each and everything but there were people who stood between us. I had to tell him without others knowing. I had to find a way.
"Ma, I think it's time," I whispered in her ear.
"I think so too," She whispered back.

"Now do you believe me?"
Hearing those words and watching with my own eyes, it was hard to digest what I just saw. The things I read and the things I was seeing were making it hard to believe what is right and what is wrong.
When I had heard her screams and I had opened the door, he was the last person I was expecting to see there. And his sudden appearance caught me off guard. I wanted to pull him aside and ask him what he was doing in that room. But her cries forced me to leave the matter for later.
So here I was standing in front of him demanding answers to the questions.
"But being her doctor shouldn't you have consult me first. You know about the protocol being a doctor yourself." I said in an accusing tone.
What he told just now and what I was seeing threw her in a completely new light. Her words he's watching us', made sense. There were cameras all around, something I wasn't aware off. I just saw her sitting on the bed and talking to someone. But there was no Someone'. She was speaking to an empty room and she...
She was smiling. There was calmness on her face, an expression I hadn't seen before. I saw her hugging the air. And I even saw her laughing a bit. She was looking like a normal girl. But was she really normal? From the few close encounters I had never seen her smiling or showing any genuine concern. She was always scared, ready to bolt and she never allowed anyone to come in her space. But looking at her now, day by day she was showing me a new Khushi and I wasn't sure which Khushi to choose.
Still looking at him I was trying to control my temper. I was dreading that whatever progress I had made with her in the past few days were about to go waste. I hadn't seen after her last attack when she told me about someone watching her.
"I know Dr. Raizada. And I do remember the protocols. Don't forget that I am your senior. And it's my daughter you are talking about. I know each and everything about her. I mean EVERYTHING." He threw the last words at my face. "And being her father and the head of this institution I don't need your permission to meet her or anyone else. Am I clear...Dr. Raizada?"
I wanted to pull him by the collar. He was arrogant. He didn't like anyone asking him questions. And he definitely didn't like me asking question about Khushi. This much was clear. But the question was "WHY?"
Was he trying to suppress me and the questions? Having worked in the field longer than me, he was more experienced and I very well knew it but he also knew that a doctor- patient relationship is based on trust. I must have done something to get the reactions out from her. And his one move brought us back to the start point.
I wasn't too sure where we stood.
I nodded and got up to leave the room. "And Dr. Raizada, next time don't forget to knock before you enter in someone's office. These are basic etiquette which I am sure you have been taught. Now you can leave."
Gripping the handle tightly I nodded once and left the room. Dr. Shashank Gupta, he could be the world famous psychiatrist, someone I used to look up to but after meeting and listening to him, I wasn't too sure.
He was hiding something. This much was evident. I could feel it. His body language, his expressions and his concern over his daughter, something wasn't clicking. And it was time to go deep and find the truth myself.
