Over a billion guys in the world. You'd think there'd be one for me to date. You'd be wrong. It is not like I've never dated anyone, I've dated a couple. Don't ask, they are complete tools. I don't even know why I dated them in the first place. Scratch that, I dated those douche bags because of the certain girl who is right next to me at the moment doing her final touch up.
For Alex school only exists so that she can hang out with friends and check out hot guys.
"How do I look?"
You have too much make up on and you look like a hoe? I don't think that is the answer she is looking for but I can't lie. Lets try and dodge the question?
"Dude we are getting late for class can you play make up make up later?"
"You are such a bore." I'm a bore when she is the one that spends hours in front of a mirror? How ironic.
I gave her a fake smile and dragged her to class. "Alex walk faster we are getting late." What does she wear these heels for!? Sometimes I wonder if she comes to school just to score some hot guys. Actually that is exactly why she comes to school.
English, my first class today. Arghh I hate this class for obvious reasons; I hate writing. "Manvi look Jake is staring at you." Alex said with an evil grin. I officially hate Alex. It is her fault that I even dated this guy in the first place. I dated Jake couple of months ago, thanks to peer pressure and then I quickly broke up. What was my excuse? I told him my parents don't want me to see a Muslim guy. Touche. It was a lie obviously. My mom would get a heart attack if she knew I was dating this freak. I lied, he believed me and we broke up. Thank God.
Apparently he is still into me and he wants to get back. HELL NO. He is so boring and annoying and he never gave me my space. 'Baby I want to have lunch with you. Baby lets have dinner. Baby blah blah blah.' I already have a tough time getting my mom and my sister off my back you think I could have handled a boyfriend who was like that too!?
Moving on, the arrogant looking guy smooching Melissa right now, a complete bitch by the way, is also my ex. Chris and I dated right after I broke up with Jake. Why did I date Chris? Let me think. He is hot, that is the only excuse I got. Actually I have one more, Melissa. Melissa and I, we have this unnamed hatred towards one another and she was always into Chris so as revenge I dated him. Cunning? Who cares. We broke up last month and he started dating Melissa right after.
He dumped me. Before you start getting all emotional on me and give me the 'everything will be alright, you will find your prince charming' crap let me tell you, I was never into him and he is a douche bag.
You want to know why he dumped me? I bet you will laugh your ass off if you find out. I hurt his ego. LMAO. How did I hurt his ego? One fine day he came up to me and proudly announced, "Manvi you and I basketball match." So I happily agreed. Then I kicked his ass in basketball and all his friends laughed at him. Soon everyone in school knew that Chris's girlfriend beat him in basketball. The very next day he dumped me. So much for male ego.That night my friends came over to my place and we laughed all night at his stupidity. Actually it was my friends that spread the rumor about his defeat so it was hilarious to us.
That is my short dating history. I would really appreciate it if you didn't bring it up in front of my mom. Have you ever watched any daily soaps? If you haven't then just come over to my place and you will see enough. You know how actors use glycerin during emotional scenes, my mom the great, doesn't even use glycerin to weep. When it comes to me she will cry without any reason hence I have grown immune to her tears. Infact my day feels incomplete if my mom doesn't shed tears for useless stuff. She is very Indian like that.
"Mr. Matthew is not well class cancelled."
Did you hear that? Class cancelled! My day couldn't have been better. Please God please give him terminal illness or paralysis or whatever that will keep him at home forever atleast until I'm in high school.
Let me introduce you all to my friends. You've already met Alex, make up queen or should I say disaster queen? Then there is Nancy the nerd. Kaila, is probably the most social in our group, she knows everybody and everybody knows her. Gwen, the confused one. Yep Gwen is never sure of anything- sometimes she takes an hour just to choose her lip-gloss. And there is me: super smart, pretty, intelligent and hot shot. I can so imagine my sister rolling her eyes at my description of myself. She'd probably say 'also add arrogant in your list.' In all honesty I don't know what I'm like, that is for you to decide.
We were walking towards our locker when Alex started hyperventilating, "Girls 2 o'clock."
All of us looked towards her 2 o'clock (when we have to point at someone we use the traditional clock method. So 2 o'clock would be towards your upper right).
You must be kidding me. Not again. What is wrong with everyone in my school? Precisely all the girls. How can they be so obsessed over a guy who is nothing but arrogant, rude, a flirt, casanova and probably psychotic too.
"He is gorgeous. I could eat him up. Oh that butt." Alex started her nonsense. His butt? Eww he shits with it. What is so amazing in that?
"I know. Those lips. I wonder what it tastes like." Kaila started with her fantasies.
"I wonder if he good in Math." Even nerdy Nancy had her two cents when it came to the disgusting guy.
I could hear girls whispering and swooning. What the hell is wrong with everybody? Am I the only one sane here?
Confused Gwen finally figured out where to look and she too started with the gibberish, "He definitely is hot. That body mmm."
EWWW why the hell is everyone imagining him sexually? What is so good about him anyway? All I see is an extremely annoying guy that thinks he is the best thing in the planet.
"Virat' Babyyy I missed you.. How was your trip?" His girlfriend, Paige, a blonde and a complete bimbo walked up to him and kissed him.
I looked away in disgust; my eyes and ears will start bleeding anytime now. Those two were practically making out. Gross.
"I hate her. He is mine only mine." Alex claimed. This girl has lost her senses.
"Right now he is clearly hers." That was my two cents.
"As far as Virat is concerned he probably hooked up with plenty other chicks in trip to Cairo. Paige is a just a time pass." Kaila concluded.
Who cares who that jerk dates?
"Hope he dates me."
"No me."
"I love him."
The locker room was abuzz with girls practically fighting with one another to claim Virat Vadhera. Time to knock some sense into them.
"Girls as far as we know Virat, he will be happy to date all of you. His dating history shows that he likes to switch every week so just wait for your turn." I said sarcastically hoping they'd catch on and start hating him like I do.
"I hope he dates me this week."
"No me."
"He is going to date me this week."
Oh my God these girls are crazy! There is no stopping them. Hope you rot in hell Mr. Casanova. I know my hate towards this guy is unjustified. I don't really know him, all I know is the few things that Alex told me or well forced me to listen. But I still hate him. He knows the effect that he has on girls and he uses that to his advantage. I hate him for that.
"Manvi did you see this?" Cathy, my classmate said in shock.
She pointed to the noticeboard so naturally I looked at it.
NO HELL NO. It must be a mistake. Please please please let it be a lie. Not me PLEASE.
"It must be a mistake." I tried my best to keep a smooth voice. All I wanted to do at the moment was jump off a cliff.
Soon all the girls gathered around the bulletin board and gave me dirty looks. While some looked at me with jealousy, some looked at me with sheer hatred.
What did I do to deserve this?
I went in the bathroom to wallow in sadness.

Update on my clothes- my mom sorted it out and put the unwearable pile in a duffel bag to give it away for clothes drive. The duffel bag is in my room right now and I mixed it up with the wearable ones *another evil laugh*
