I stared at the mirror waiting for tear drops. Maybe if I cry I will feel better? Today is probably the first time in my life I wished I had some of mom's genes in me, then perhaps I wouldn't be staring at the mirror with dry eyes.

"What are you concentrating so hard on?" Alex came in the washroom too.

"I'm trying to cry." I replied rudely.

Why can't she just leave me alone with my sorrows?

She rolled her eyes at me and asked, "Tears of joy?"

How sarcastic can one be? She knows too damn well how annoyed I must be at the moment but she won't leave me alone.

"Go to hell." I snapped.

"Manvi what is your problem? Any girl would love to trade position with you."

Exactly my point. "I have enough enemies. I don't want more. I don't want this. Lets go to Miss Juliet's office and ask her to give me your partner and you can take mine."

"I already tried, infact we all did. She won't budge."

That is just my luck isn't it? Soon all of my other friends entered the washroom and started hugging me.

"Manvi you are so lucky."

"I'm so jealous."

"Can you all stop?" I screamed and trust me if there was no law I would murder someone too.

"Manvi common you must be the luckiest person on the planet. Shouldn't you be happy right now?"

"She has lost it. She is not capable to think anymore I'm sure."

My friends are not helping with the situation but they are making it worse. "Why don't you all go to hell and leave me alone!!!!!!!!!" I screamed at them and kicked each one out of the bathroom.

I have to do something, I have to fix this. I can't I simply can't be V'Virat's partner. Arghhh even thinking of him gives me creeps. What is this presentation anyway? Why a presentation in the middle of the school year? Mr. Casanova is a year senior to me so why is he my partner? Shouldn't he be paired up with his classmate?

Did I forget to mention that Mr. Casanova and blondie Paige are both a year senior to me? While I'm a junior, they are seniors.

"Manvi?" Now who the hell is it? Can't people just leave me the hell alone?

I turned back to scream at whoever it was but to my surprise it was blondie or bimbo or whatever you want to call her.

"Paige?" What was I supposed to say? All I know about her is that she has dated almost every guy in her class, she is a s**t, a bitch and she is currently dating Mr. Casanova. The question here is, why the hell is she talking to me? I'm a junior, to them (the seniors) we are bunch of kids.

She rolled her eyes at me and pushed me to stand in front of the mirror. While applying her blusher she said, "Virat is mine. You better not do that presentation with him."

I don't give a shit about you or him. For all I care you both can go to hell. I wanted to scream but screaming to a senior meant social suicide so I quietly left the bathroom. My sister and my friends would have laughed if they'd seen me like this. I'm all ninja like when I have to fight with them but what did I do now? NOTHING.

There is no way I'm getting myself into this- working with Mr. Casanova and listening to Blondie's insults. Wait a second, I'm Manvi, I don't let people run over me like that.

I turned back and looked for her. She was with her group of friends laughing away.

"Hey Blondie." Make up queen looked at me completely shocked. She looked around to see if I was talking to someone else.

Clearly smartness is not one of Blondie's strengths, sighing at her slowness I walked closer to her, "That little speech you gave me in the bathroom, listen, I'm not scared of you. As far as your 'boyfriend' is concerned, I couldn't care less about him either. If he doesn't want to work with me, he can go talk to Miss Juliet because I don't care. So next time before you get all territorial on me, just know that I'm not the one that will take your spiteful comments sitting down. Are we clear?"

Did I just say all those things to Blondie? I am going to buy myself chocolate fudge cake, as a treat. Look at all the seniors gawking at me, I should have just stayed quiet, too much attention is never good.

I turned back to walk away only to collide with Virat Vadhera. That is just my luck. Shit man, shit. I'm not going to apologize so I stood there with my hands on my hips.

He raised an eyebrow at me; I told you he is a jerk.

"Calm down shorty. I seriously thought you'd kill Paige back there." He said looking towards Paige who was glaring at me murderously. Dumb blonde.

"First of all I'm 5'6" so don't you dare call me shorty. Secondly, I would love nothing more than teach your girlfriend a lesson." I answered rudely. Can't he just leave? I don't want to be standing here talking to Mr. Casanova. I mean I have a reputation to maintain.

"Ohkay shorty as you please. But it is between the two of you so do as you please." He answered clearly uninterested in the conversation.

"Whatever." I started to walk away but I stopped to tell him one last thing, "You call me shorty again and you will regret it for the rest of your life." I threatened.

He broke into fits of laughter. What the hell? Casanova is laughing at ME?? Oh he is a dead meat.

I walked closer to him and pointed a finger at him, "You'. Grhh.. How dare you laugh at me? I hate you."

Suddenly he stopped laughing and looked at me peculiarly, "Why do you hate me? What did I do to you?"

I couldn't tell him why I hate him even if I wanted to. Better just dodge the question. "I got better things to do and I'm in a hurry. Bye."

I was just about to leave when he said something else, "By the way, Paige is not my girlfriend."

"Really? How interesting! I would love to stand here and find out more about you but.. not interested." I said rudely and rolled my eyes at him while he stood there and looked at me with humor in his eyes.

"Idiot" I muttered and left.
