Kripa could feel her heart beat rise. The female voice was none other than her mother, the Queens voice.

Kripa took all the dvds, and ran to her room. She knew she was making noise but she didn't care.

She entered her room to see a male figure, scared she dropped all the dvds.

"Shh…" Angad picked up the dvds "are you okay?"

Kripa had never felt so relieved in her life. She hugged Angad and began sobbing.

"Ma – Kripa…are you okay" Angad said helping her in the room and seating her on the bed "are you crying cause I sneaked in? I am sorry…I just came to warn you not to try running away using the fences they can electrocute you."

"Ho-How did you get in?" Kripa said still crying

"The man that is able to turn on or off the electricity will for a small amount, he lets me in once in a while…because its unlikely anyone will find out…but if you run away then the royalty will find out…so he wont do it for you…" Angad said answering the question he thought Kripa would ask

"Angad..I am glad you're here"

"You are? That's odd…is everything okay?"

Kripa showed Angad the DVDs, Angad pulled out a laptop from Kripa's cupboard. It was probably Maithali's…and played the first video.

"It's the Queens voice." Kripa said knowing Angad was thinking the same

Angad put the next DVD in without saying anything. The next DVD showed two little girls in a small dark area

"This was my dream…" Kripa told Angad

Angad forwarded the dvd, the girls were shown sitting there for a few hours,

"this is where she kills herself" Kripa said recognizing the scene.

The twins had been tied onto a chair, but one of them freed herself, she went to untie the other twin, but they heard footsteps,

"Manayta run away" the girl who was probably Maithali said

"No…I wont go alone" Manayta cried

Manayta took the rope that she had been tied with and strangled herself

Maithali was screaming "NO"

The footsteps got louder. Gayatri, and Subranyam (the king) entered the room

"Oh my god" Gayatri ran toward Manayta "she's dead"

"What? Oh My God…I knew this was a bad idea this was a stupid idea…bloody hell…." Subranayam was panicking

"I thought this would make it all better…we should have atleast told the girls the truth" gayatri cried

"They wouldn't have been convincing if they knew the truth"

They both looked at Maithali

"You will not say anything that happened today…if anyone asks Manayta…Manayta….ran away from the kidnappers…do you understand"

"How is that possible?" Angad said watching the video again

Kripa closed her eyes not wanting to watch it again

"What does this mean" she asked without opening her eyes

"I don't know…Maithali is dead…Manayta died so many years ago" Angad couldn't complete his thought

"who am I?" Kripa said completing Angads thought

'You were so intent in proving I am Maithali and now I am not even Manayata…I don't know who I am anymore" Kripa said tears brimming out of her eyes

"Kripa…I know this probably isn't the right time to say this but I wasn't trying to prove your Maithali…I mean if you logicaly think about how does our kiss prove your Maithali…I kissed you because I am in love with you…I know its really stupid and wrong for me to love you because well I love Maithali but even though I know you aren't her…I just "

Kripa kissed Angad

"I believe that was the most inappropriate timing ever" Kripa said laughing

Angad put the next DVD in the laptop

"this is my engagement footage" Angad said watching the footage

"when you got engaged to Maithali?" Kripa asked

Angad nodded

Kripa watched Angad and Maithali enter- they looked so in love. Kripa remembered her engagement with Angad and felt so akward in comparison. Even though Angad had said he loved her she had never felt so jealous of someone. Angad watched the whole ceremony keenly – looking for clues. The engagement ended, a waiter came to whisper to Maithali that her limo was here, she kissed her fianc and left. The camera switched it was now outside, showing Maithali entering the limo. The chauffeur opened the door for her and she was about to enter when she fainted. The chauffeur looked panicked he picked her up and put her in the limo, he called someone, and the Queen came running out, she looked at her daughter, and went with her.

"the car beside the limo….thats the car Maithali was in the night she died. Angad forwarded the parking lot footage until he saw the car move, he rewinded it to see, the Queen had returned and drove the car away.

A while later a mob was shown running out of the Banquet Hall,

"this was when we found out Maithali passed away"

Angad had picked Kripa up for pre-wedding shopping but took her to the hospital instead.

Ever since Kripa entered the hospital she felt a sudden rush of nausea. She had been there before but she didn't mention it because she felt it would just further complicate whatever mess they were in.

"Why are we here?" Kripa said ready to throw up

"I want to talk to the doctor that told us Maithali died" Angad said to Kripa and then went to the receptionist " Dr. Gupta please"

"I am sorry sir, he left the country a year back" The receptionist replied evidently recognizing Angad

"Who is in charge right now?"

"Dr. Sinha, he's currently in a meeting right now but will be free in 15 minutes" the nurse told Angad

"please book an appointment with him please" Angad replied

The nurse wrote Angads name on a sheet of paper

"15 minute? I swear if we were in India it wait line would have been much longer."

"We're a small country…our medical system isn't really advanced…so serious cases go outside the country and doctors aren't that busy.

Angad and Kripa barely waited 5 minutes before the Doctor called them in

"stay here" Angad instructed Kripa

"Mr.Khanna, how are yuou today." The chirpy but nervous doctor welcomed them

"the Queen asked me to get …Maithali's medicine" Kripa could hear the conversation from outside the room

"oh I sent it last week though." The doctor replied

"yeah, she said it's not really working" Angad said, Kripa could tell that Angad was making stuff up on the spot"

"oh…has she remembered something?" the doctor asked

"yeah, she has"

"I cant increase the dose anymore…or she might completely lose her memory again"

Part 7

Kripa could feel her heart beating faster, she hadn't had breakfast this morning and the doctors words were scaring her…."Angad!" Kripa screamed, she was scared she couldn't breathe "ANGAD!"

Angad ran out, and so did the doctor who had just realized Kripa heard everything, he realized that information had been extracted from him.

Kripa was rushed into the Emergency Room

"What ever drugs your giving her I want you to stop." Angad ordered the doctor

Kripa regained consciousness after 8 hours. She woke up to see the Queen in her hospital room, with Angad and his family. Guilt on their faces.

The Queen came and sat beside Kripa.

"I think we should tell you the truth.." the Queen said quietly

"Because we already know most of it." Angad said angrily

"Kripa…you're Maithali, as you have already realized…when you were younger you saw your twin kill herself" the Queen said she had been mentally practicing what she would say

"you're forgetting a part" Angad interrupted

"yes…when you both were younger, there was a lot of controversy over our rulership, there was a group of people who wanted us to give up power, and we decided we would but to guarantee our power through the election we wanted to gain sympathy. So we got you two kidnapped it was a fake kidnap, but we were afraid you two wouldn't be able to act scared once the public found out so we didn't tell you it was fake. But in fear, Manayta killed herself. We didn't want anyone to know..Manayta was dead because it would outrage the public and they would want the kidnappers punished…and the group against us didn't really kidnap them so it would be quite unfair. So we made you hide the truth but you were getting sick because of it as you got older, so we started giving you medicine to hel p you forget your childhood but the medicine backlashed and you lost your memory. You forgot everything" The queen was fighting tears at this point "We were scared that the medicine story would get out and everything we were trying to hide would be exposed…so we faked your death…I sent you to india, to Naina's sisters orphanage and asked her to keep you there, after a year we brought you back as Manayta..i thought the stories would combine and everything would be okay…I am so sorry…I was scared you would get your memory back and once again be conflicted into acting as your own twin so I put a lower dose of the medicine in your food...i did it for your own bliss"

Kripa was speechless, from Kripa to Manayta to Maithali all within a month

"its time to go" a cop came in and took the Queen

"what's going on?"Kripa asked

"we let the media know everything, the whole country knows what happens, the Queens been charged with fraud..you okay?"

Kripa nodded, the Queen had stole her life from her how could she feel bad for her? The Queen would be punished, the Royals probably wouldnt win the elections but it was okay because blood doesnt make a leader.

(I know the endings abrupt but University starts for me today and I didn't want to write it while studying :$, and yeah the rest of the stories obvious they all live happily ever after!) I tried answering all questions but if I have left something out please tell me I'll answer any questions :D

U ended so fast.But its ok I can understand.But I love this ff.I cant believe Parents can do with their own children.They lost Maanyata becoz of their foolishness and even mentally torturing Maithaili.Hope Ak will have lots of kids and live their life happily.Thanks for writing this ff.
