Angad and Kripa's fight was not a secret from their family – although no one knew the reason behind the fight, the tabloids had reported their fight and come up with many reasons

The closest theory Kripa had come upon was "Manayta: Having a Maithali Complex?"

Kripa was unsure how the taboloids event came to know about their fight, but everyone knew and everyone had their own theories.

The Queen, Gayatri had instructed Kripa to make a public appearance with Angad for damage control, to which Kripa had refused but her refusal had been ignored,

"Dress Warm, you're going ice skating" Gayatri had said

"Ice-skating? With the general public" Kripa was surpised

"Don't be silly…we booked the rink for the both of you."

"How's that a public appearance?"

"People will see you enter the rink, stay there for an hour and then leave"

Gayatri had made Kripa change her clothes a billion times before she was happy with what Kripa was wearing.

"I thought you wanted me to dress warm, This isn't going to keep me warm at all?" Kripa argued looking at the thin silk top she was wearing, and the skirt that went down to her knees.

"Media will be there I don't want them confusing you with Maithali."

And so it was, Angad picked Kripa up, had a silent-awkward car ride, they gave their public appearance and went in the rink,

'your skates" Angad passed them to Kripa

"your gonna skate in a skirt?" Angad lifted his eyebrow at Kripa

"The Queen wanted me to differentiate myself from Maithali the opposite of what you try to do"

Angad looked away "sorry, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings."

"I am not skating, we just had to make a public experience right"

"We're stuck in here for an hour, just come skating with me" Angad pulled Kripa up

"NO! I am not your servant..I am not gonna listen to everything you say." Kripa pushed him away.

"You've never skated before have you?" Angad said in a mocking voice

"I don't recall ever skating before…but that's not the point"

"Your scared?" Angad laughed

"I am not scared!" Kripa took the skates out of Angads hands, and put them on, she tightened the laces and sought to abruptly stand up, however lost her balance and fell on Angad.

"your not even on the ice yet and your falling" Angad laughed while helping Kripa up, he supported Kripa to get on the ice.

As soon as Kripa got on the ice she grabbed onto Angads shirt,

"Its slippery" she said holding onto him

Angad put his arms around Kripas waist to support her

"Don't Touch Me" Kripa said pushing Angad away and falling once again "ow"

"I'll stop touching you when you learn the basics, Angad took Kripas arms and tried pulling her up, but because of Kripa's reluctance to get up, Angad ended up sliding and falling on Kripa.

Kripa looked up at the man who was on her at this moment, it wasn't a very good moment – she was freezing, in skates, she couldn't get up by herself anyways, and now there was someone on her. But at the moment she wished time would freeze. She could hear the romantic Bollywood music playing in the background

"sorry" Angad apologized while helping Kripa up properly "it was my fault, I didn't hold you properly."

"I don't want to skate anymore..Kripa said taking support from the walls and exiting the rink

"We have to stay inside the stadium for an hour" Angad said following her

"You can skate…"

"its okay… Kripa…we're getting married soon, you cant be mad at me forever."

"we're not getting married…I am gonna go back to India before the wedding."

"Kripa…there not gonna let you go."

"it doesn't matter, I'll run away."

"Everyone thinks I am delusional…but Kripa if you think you can run away from the kingdom – being the future ruler you're the delusional one…you wont even be able to leave the mansion,"

"I can run away..I just haven't tried yet!"

"What are you waiting for?"

"I just like the food here…I'll run away soon" Kripa realized how stupid that sounded she'd said it in her head many times but out loud it sounded horrible.

"Kripa if you want to run away I can help you…but you're gonna have to help me"

It was 12 am everyone was asleep, Kripa was ready to run away – she packed necessities and took a deep sigh, Angad had told her she couldn't run away and that was why she felt the urgency to try.

Kripa tied a rope to the window, and used it for support to climb down, her room was on the third floor of the mansion and she made a lot of noise going down. Kripa was sure that the top notch security would catch her but nothing happened. Relief swept through Kripa, this had been too easy.

Kripa threw her bag over the fence – or attempted to as soon as the bag touched the fence it caught fire. The fence was wired to electrocute anything it touched. Angad was right it wouldn't be easy leaving the mansion. The fence was okay during the morning there had to be a switch that turned it on and off. Kripa walked around the fence trying to find a switch, there was nothing outside. She walked back into the mansion, there was no internal security at night, Kripa snuck into a room and looked around it was a empty room – for guests probably, she left Kripa ended up walking around many rooms until she found a room that wasn't a bedroom. It was a room with security cameras. Everything in the palace was being videotaped. The switch was probably in this room. Kripa looked around the room but couldn't find it. Hopeless, she watched the videos, Kripa could see the Queen in her room sleeping. The Queen was visably restless, she looked like she was having a bad dream. Kripa looked around the room and saw a cabinet. She attempted to open it but it was locked. Coincedently there were keys on top of the cabinet. The royals couldn't be that stupid to put the keys on top of the cabinet but Kripa decided to try anyways.

It turned out the Royals were that stupid, or they just assumed no one would ever try to steal anything. Which was true they didn't have much to steal. Kripa opened the cabinet and spotted numerous DVDs with dates however a few of the dates were kept aside. Curiousity got the better of her, and she took the DVDs that had been put aside and put them in the dvd player that was attached to the security tvs.

The first video was dated 20 years ago.

The video wasn't a security video it was a blank screen and a male voice

"Manayta and Maithali are in my possession – If you want to see them alive…give up your kingdom"

A female voice interrupted "not kingdom..give up power…we don't want to lose the kingdom..try again"

"sorry" the male voice said " Manayta nad Maithali are in my possession- if you want to see them alive…give up power"

"much better" the female voice said
