I looove this story. My hubby works for Disney and my 2 little girls are so into fairy tales that I think I read every bloody fairy books in every language possible. However I love your version with the twist and all as you included Arhi in it. I keep seeing them dressed as the prince and princess from the SP award last year. I love that she is a strong princess and can take care of herself. I love that he is not a dream boy in a castle but mingles with the people in his kingdom and others, that he will use his hands to earn a living. I am sad that it is ending. Can you not stretch it a little bit more? Maybe let their baby be kidnapped like Rapunzel and find a Eugene for her as well. Just wanted to say that I read this recently and was looking forward to the updates only to find out that it is ending . Great concept, great story telling. Can't wait for the next update!

Hi! So I'm one of the terrible 'silent readers' who slips in, reads and then vanishes with maybe a 'like' thrown in.
But since you mentioned that this story isn't as popular as 'Finding Solace' (which I also read), I felt that I HAD to step in and comment.
Fairy Tale is honestly a wonderful rendition of the traditional fairytale with all the archetypical elements like The Prince, The Damsel In Distress, The Antagonist, The Foil, The Conflict, The Witch as well as popular symbols of fairytales like the glass slippers, the apple, the ball-- all worked in so intricately and beautifully.
What begins as a deceptively simple story soon weaves into a fairly complex, deep one with layers and various inter-connecting plot points, reeling the reader in so silently and effortlessly that she doesn't even realize that she's been hooked!
I honestly love this re-telling with Arnav and Khushi as the protagonists! Such a straightforward and honest tale of their untainted love and trust.
So it really is a loss for those who fail to appreciate the beauty of this amazing story disguised as a fairytale.
Sure, I like Finding Solace a LOT too, but I started reading this first, because while I have on occasion read other stories like FS, I have never read anything like FT!
You are honest-to-goodness, a very talented writer, and it is a genuine pleasure to read your weekly updates for which I wait eagerly!
Cheers!

Beautifully written.Loved it.

Arnav 's emotional turmoil. The tug of war between his love for Di and Khushi. The weak moment he had,as he confessed his love, weakness to Anjali..broke my heart.

Khushi and her conflicting thoughts about Arnav and the sacrifice.La was swee to her.She could sense the black magic in the ballroom. If wasnt for Akash distracted her,she would have traced it.I guess.

Somewhere I had these feeling that Arnav wont be able to confess to khushi. And he didnt. As Khushi was rushing towards Anjali room with Arnav closely following her--my heart was racing--the kind of feel u get as if watching it being played out infront of my eyes--and than she had that apple--Anjali is back to life, and Khushi😭?

Thanks for the PM.😊
