He pulls her closer for a hug.
Khushi (lightly hits his arm): Mad lard governer!
Then she kisses his neck.
Arnav(breaks the hug): Excuse me? What did u say?
Khushi(arms around his neck): I said-mad lard governer!
Arnav: Main paagal hoon? Really?
Khushi(nods): Really!
Arnav: What makes u say that?

She stops for a moment.

Arnav bends his head to nibble her earlobe but Khushi pushes him away.
Khushi: Dont do that!
Arnav catches hold of her wrists & bends his head.
Arnav: I know only 1 way to say that!(nibbles her earlobe)Shubh shubh!
Khushi: Lard governer! Started being naughty again?
Arnav is about to say something when he sneezes twice.
Khushi: See,if u keep sneezing like this I'm bound to worry about u! Now move aside!
Arnav(seriously): 1 minute. I want to speak to u..
Khushi: Later! First,lemme apply that ayurvedic balm on ur nose & forehead..
She moves towards the closet to get the balm.
Arnav(groans): Khushi plz.. not that balm! It smells yuck!
Khushi: Dont complain like a kid! When I'd caught a cold after coming back from Nainital,I'd used that balm.And my cold vanished in 2 days!
Arnav: If I take medicines for cold its likely that I'll get cured in 2 days!

She turns & looks suspiciously at Arnav.
Khushi: I hope u didnt throw it away?
Arnav: I wish I had!
Khushi makes a face & resumes her search.
Arnav(approaches her): U can search it out later.First listen to me. Come..
He makes her sit on the bed & sits beside her.
Khushi: Tell me..
Arnav: U're right. Today.. I did cross the limit & became very naughty! I mean.. since I was angry I.. (holds her hands) I'm sorry! I promise,I'll control my anger! I'll never do that again!
Khushi: Its okay.
Arnav: I.. I need to ask u something..?
Khushi: Y r u hesitating?U can ask whatever u'd like to.
Arnav: R u sore?
Khushi(shocked): What?..
Arnav: Today.. we.. made love twice.. So..

She puts an arm around his right arm & rests her head on his right shoulder.
Khushi: The truth is that we cant stay angry with each other for a long time!
Arnav: Right!
Khushi: Our love is way above these fights!
Arnav kisses her head.
Khushi: Its good that jiji agreed to what I said & promised accordingly. (sighs) Had she not agreed.. I wouldve fought with her! Yes,I wouldnt hav liked it. I would never like to fight with my sis. But for ur sake,for my sake r for r togetherness I wouldve done that!
She lifts her head to look at him.
Khushi: The day I realized that I love u,I never thought that I'll b able to love u so much!That I'll love u more than I love my ownself!.. That u'll become the most special person in my life!.. That u'll be the closest to my heart!.. I never realized when I fell so deeply in love with u!
She smiles and shakes her head.
Khushi: Sometimes when I sit to think about it,I feel shocked-how r relationship,which started with hatred,reached this point where there's only unconditional love? Khushi: It happened coz Devi Maiyya had entwined r names long back!
Arnav rolls his eyes.
Khushi: She knew that 2 crazy people would b able to understand & take care of each other! Thats y she got us to meet each other!

Arnav reluctantly sat down on the bed while Khushi sat behind him on her knees.
She massaged his temple for 5-10 minutes.

Arnav(shifted): Noways!If u apply it on my nose,its smell will keep irritating me & I wont b able to focus on my work!
Khushi: But y do u hav to work?Di told me that u took a day off today..
Arnav: Yes,I did.But I'll hav to work from home.
Khushi: U couldve taken rest for a while..
Arnav: Khushi,relax! Like I said,I hav a pretty normal cold & not TB! Hence I dont need bedrest,okay?
Khushi(shrugs): Ur wish!
She goes to the bottle of balm inside the cupboard while Arnav watches her, puzzled.
Arnav: I mentioned TB still she didnt say that shubh shubh thing! Y?
Khushi smiles internally.
Khushi(thinks): I understand u pretty well,Mr. Raizada. Hence I know that u intentionally took the name of that disease.U wanted me to chide u so that u could play mischief again!But I didnt do that! If u're smart,so am I!
She closes the cupboard & turns back to find Arnav on the recliner.
Arnav: Ur breakfast.. is still here..
Khushi nods.
Arnav: Its cold.I'll tell HP to prepare something fresh for u.
Khushi: Leave it! It'll b lunch time soon.So I'll directly hav lunch.
Arnav gives a guilty look.
Arnav: U couldnt hav breakfast bcoz of me..
Khushi: U started again?U sat down to work,right?So do ur work! I'm fine..
She looked at the covered plate and gulped.
She was starving but she had to control herself.
She knew that Arnav wouldnt allow her to have cold food.And she couldnt take the plate downstairs.
Khushi(thinks): What will di think? She'd sent the food a long time back.What shall I say to her if she asks me y I didnt hav breakfast till now?
She consoled herself.
Khushi(thinks): Its only a matter of some time Khushi! Then u'll get to eat! Till then u fold the clothes & do some small chores.They'll divert ur mind and.. ur eyes.. (gulps) wont keep staring at the plate.
Arnav caught her staring longingly at the plate & smiled.
He took the plate to her.
Khushi: Areh! Y r u..
Arnav(interrupts): U're hungry naa? So,eat this!
Khushi: But..
Arnav uncovered the plate covering Khushi's breakfast.
Khushi's mouth watered at the sight of the aaloo parathas & mango pickle.
The smell of ghee emanating from the parathas increased her hunger manifold.
Arnav(smiles): Khushi!
Khushi(gaping at the parathas): Ji..?
Arnav caught her arm & made her sit on the bed.
Arnav: Till lunch is served.. u can have these!
He thrust the plate into her hands.
No sooner did he do that than Khushi started gobbling up the parathas.
Arnav: Slow down! I told u to eat,not to hog!
Khushi(with food in her mouth): au-oo-I-oo? Aaoo a-aa-aas r o ee-li-ee-us! (What do I do? Aaloo parathas r so delicious!)
Arnav: I know,right? But if u eat slowly,u'll b able to enjoy them! If u eat too fast all that u're stuffing inside ur mouth will come out of it in no time!
Khushi(irritated): Arnavji! (swallows)Lemme eat the way I'm eating! Go & do ur work!Leave me alone with my parathaas!
Arnav: Ok,peace! enjoy!
He went back to the recliner & opened his laptop while his eyes were still fixed on his mad & ravenous wife.

The doorbell rings..
Anjali: I'll see who it is.U may go..
She is surprised to find Aakash outside the door.
Anjali: What happened Aakash? How come u're back so early?
Aakash: Ya di. a.. I felt like having lunch with the family today.So..
Anjali: Its good that u came home!But.. it'll take another 10-15 minutes for lunch to b ready.

She closes the door behind him & goes to the kitchen.
She had just resumed her work when the doorbell rings again.
Anjali(thinks): Now whos it?That too at this hour?
She turns off the gas & goes to answer the door.

Paayal: Come in..
Aakash(concerned): What happened Paayal?Y did u call me so urgently?(touches her shoulder)Is everything ok?I hope u're fine..

Paayal: Had that been the truth,u wouldnt hav agreed to sign divorce papers,without giving a thought of its impact on r relationship!
Aakash(shocked): Divorce papers?! Tell me something-y should I divorce u?
Paayal: Coz ur bhai told u to do so! U agreed to him & signed the divorce papers,without thinking about me. U didnt even inform me!
Aakash: R u out of ur mind? I havent signed any divorce papers! And y will bhai ask me to sign divorce papers?
Paayal: Coz he wanted to blackmail Khushi by using those papers!

Aakash: Thats impossible Paayal! I havent signed any papers & I'm sure about that!Khushiji has some major confusion.Bhai will never ask me to divorce u! He knows how much we love each other! Then y will he ask me to sign divorce papers?
Paayal: Its possible,Aakash! May b he tricked u to sign them?

HP: Naniji has called u both downstairs.
