One layer at a time. So Garima (& Khushi) was closely related to Arnav's family's arch rivals. And I think you mentioned some details about the Indian handicrafts and the competition in an earlier chapter too, can't recall which one though... I enjoyed the scene between Arun and Garima - it was life watching an old love story, stolen moments and tender kisses. And then the final revelation to the family and the hopes of a happily ever after. Wonder what became of that ? I also loved your description of Little Khushi, I want to cuddle her and give her a nice kissie on the cheek right now!

I didn't quite understand Arnav's motivation behind choosing Khushi's bridal wear. He did that to make her happy, but he did not even consult her while picking her dress for her wedding day! Yet, I will appreciate him taking care of every aspect there, any trouble she may have due to heavy jewelry or a difficult dress. It is less to to with Khushi dressing up as his bride, and more to do with the dress of the bride on her big day. Also, in his discussion with Rohan, he did not dismiss Rohan's argument that it is important he attend the haldi ceremony. He also keeps a look out to ensure his to-be-bride is happy - a happy smile on her face satisfies him. Even with all his flaws, I really like your Arnav :)

Singhania, man, did you really think it was this easy to defeat Arnav Singh Raizada? Poor baby, you still have a lot to learn!

Ek toh you write really well.

Secondly, you include details that make your update so much more realistic- the difficulties the handicrafts industry had to face during the British era, how an auction works, a known designer like Tarun Tahilani... I like these details immensely.

So Garima is Khushi's maasi and the family in which her sister was married and where she was supposed to get married were the arch rivals of Arnav's then family. Does Garima know this bit about Arnav. Seems impossible that she wouldn't.

Veer you've crossed path with Arnav. Learn to face such defeats and losses :)

Loved the way Arnav's eyes were trained on Khushi's, noting her happiness. Like he had noted her disappointment when she had wanted to completely redecorate the room. So he goes to personally pick her wedding outfit.

Now my questions to Arnav-
1. What makes you think she won't be disappointed anymore just because You have selected an outfit for her?

2. Strange. You didn't let her change the color of your room and here you selected her bridal outfit without consulting her about the color, make, cut or anything. What makes you so sure she'll like what you pick?

3. Have you thought about what your family will say when they'll know you handpicked Khushi's bridal outfit?

Two - I LOVED the chapter. The way you reveal things without revealing too much? Its brilliant writing from you. :D

The scene between Arun and Garima was so sweet and lovely. And she was connected to a family that was the arch rival of Arnav's family..then. What happened between them? I wanna know more now!

So Arnav's all set to give out a roar. Veer, watch out! You crossed paths with Arnav.. and hence you will have to face the consequences of it.

So to make up for the disappointment he had seen in Khushi's eyes when he had refused to let her redecorate the entire room...he decided to buy her bridal wear himself. WITHOUT Khushi knowing what she was going to wear on her wedding day. Now I don't really see how that will redeem him...for all he knows, Khushi might kill him for selecting and deciding what she should wear without her input in it!

I like the way you portray various facets of Arnav. Like the acumen every businessman has, to the sensitivity while he's weighing the lehenga and making sure its not too heavy, while listening to Rohan and accepting that he would leave only after the haldi ceremony...thereby taking care of everybody's feelings. :)

Oho!!! Veer really thought it was that easy to outsmart Arnav ?? Well...I bet he had second thoughts there. This is going to be interesting! :D

You updated after a long time. Good to see you back.

More twists in the story. Hope you update sooner now. Want to read more to really understand what happened earlier and how it has affected the present.

After a long time...update was beautiful as always with glimps of past.. Garima n Khushi's life...the bridal wear was marvellous..no doubt Khushi will be stunning in those.

OH!! I missed your work! It is always so satisfying to read your updates! 😃

With all that history about the Malikhs and the Mishras, I think I can make a few guesses now but still it would be too early to say anything. It was interesting, though. Useful information for future updates.

And woah! Arnav there...was very, very impressive. 😉

Classic Arnav that guy can't put business to the side even for his own wedding day! And of course business man Arnav strikes again at the end! A clever move by Arnav!
