Chapter 5

Mishras and Maliks? OMG - this person is clearly the conspirator since it cannot be Arnav. Arnav was too young in 1997 to realise his motives. This person really is responsible for whatever happened, nahi? This one makes me so curious - it drips curiosity!

Chapter six

A three year old Arnav in his over sized pajama sounds so cute. It is surreal though, that such a wound would stay forever. What seems more surreal is that when Arnav was 3, he got a cut because his father overlooked the child's curious nature and Arnav considers his father to be responsible for a deeper wound so many years later. A three year old Arnav wanted to be like his father - so eager to please him and this Arnav wants nothing to do with his father. Oh..excuse me if I am ignoring the woods to look at the tree. :$

There is a balance in this chapter - how sisters both Payal and Anjali interact and react to the news of their respective siblings' marriage. Naturally Payal is very protective towards Khushi. And Khushi's reasons for agreeing to the marriage seem so objective - almost cold.

I like this Anjali. She doesn't try to appease Arnav or talk to him as if she is talking to a child. Instead she takes full control of the situation and gives him a good big sister talk.

Rohan sounds nice.

This chapter rehashes and speaks so many things and Sj, you have written it with beautifully reminding us how important siblings are and you their support can be so encouraging. 😊

Chapter Seven

Shashi seems like such an understanding person - father and husband. He loves not only Payal his own daughter but clearly adores Khushi too - his adopted daughter and is so prepared to help even a stranger.He isn't illusioned by what the society thinks and says. For him his daughters opinion matters - that and her happiness.

Clearly Garima and Shashi's marriage didn't come about under usual or loving circumstances. Is Khushi Garima's daughter? Or is she? Hadn't you mentioned in the previous chapter that at the age of ten, she had asked Payal about her lost parents. Such a tale you are weaving, SJ!

Arnav and Khushi one of each kind. Arnav clearly needs to look beyond the acquisition of the property. May be as Khushi thinks the interiors in the room might bring home the fact.

I heart the way you are taking time to build each aspect - each relationship in the story and writing seems flawless. 😃

OMG...Screams...with excitement and then holds own head in sheer embarrassment...because I was so eager to dive into the update and find out what Arnav's next words were...that I totally missed the DEDICATION...

I reread the part about Admiration versus attraction again and you are absolutely right...the past connection is in terms of admiration...

I love the depth you have given each character.so much that it actually matters a lot that I understand them all.

Reading this story and analyzing the characters reminds me of my English Literature A levels. class...my most favorite class and teacher ever...lol.

Khushi was expecting something a small hint its not only because of the property he loves her or she means some thing to him and...wow that disappointing reached his heart..
