"Maine socha tha ki tum ek innocent ladki ho, jise kuch nahin pata….lekin tum to bahut pahunchi ladki ho…"
And tears came into his eyes…. And unknowingly words escaped from his lips… "I wish I could tell you that I love you too… I love you more than anyone in the world… more than myself… I so wish Taani that I could heal the wounds I've given to you…" he said with a sigh.
Rey, he would feel a pain often, every moment he breathed actually. He wanted her, to be his side, to hold his hand, to be close with him, to be his… but his destiny… after reviving to life, once again, after a heartbreak he could live his life now, and because of whom it was possible, she was someone whom he has hurted, gave her so much pain and dejectedness.
"No…noo…Taani… I just wish I could tell you once how much I love you, how much I long for you, your single glance, your smile, your face… I love you…yep…I wish that for once I would be able to hold you, and I just want to shatter in you, you… only person whose touch can heal me every wound…" he thought to himself with tears in his eyes and lie down on his bed, thinking about Taani.
Next morning…
Taani got up with a bit difficulty as she could sleep hardly because of her excitement…
"Mrinalini and Varun… gosh…kal tak main yeh secret kaise rekhoongi…?" she thought to herself and started her daily routine.
Swayam was really happy as Sharon called him at the 5 AM in the morning, and he was really very happy because of this. He went for his morning walk.
Taani was really happy and was preparing breakfast humming her newly favorite song "Heer" from her newly favorite movie "Jab Tak hai jaan", and making swayam's favorite breakfast…
Rey came into the kitchen, still half-asleep, shirtless to drink water, when he heard her humming and saw her… she was busy in her work, listening to music with earphones in her ears, and humming the song, her hair were flying and he was beyond happy by her sight in the morning.
Suddenly Taani turned and found Rey staring at her… suddenly she remembered her nightmare and then thought about what she decided… "How much it hurts…but I will suppress my feelings, my love for Rey…at least in front of him. Whatever happens…" she removed her earphone and carelessly put them aside.
"Rey… wo…wo… aap yahan… kuch chahiye tha…?" Taani asked him.
"Haan…vo…paani peene aaya tha…" Rey said.
"Okay…umm…vo…" Taani tried to say something but she was trying to find words.
"Haan…bolo kuch keh rahin thi tum…"Rey asked her with a shimmer in his eyes.
"Vo…ummm….Rey…Good morning…aap…aap kuch lenge…me…mera matlab ki…kuch nahin… aap ready ho jaiye…aur kisi cheez ki zaroorat ho to bata dijiyega…okay…" Taani said in nervousness.
"Hmmm.. good morning…" he was upset a bit, he wanted to talk to her a bit more, he wanted to see her smile, but here she was pushing him away from herself… how can she… how can she refuse to share his company, to hold his hand… how can she… he felt a stung of pain in his heart.
"yep… I'm going… and by the way tumhe yeh bilkul suit nahin karta ki tum mujhse aise baat karo… remember I'm your assistant so how can you…it should be me jo pooche ki main aapka koi kaam kar sakta hoon…hai na…" Rey said angrily.
Taani was shattered … why did he has to always fight with her… what's wrong with him…? She composed herself and replied… "Yeah you are right… but aap yahan bhai ke best friend hain, aur as a host I'm asked you if you are okay or not… and yep, aaj breakfast mein maine grilled sandwich hai… anything else you want… as you are my brother's best friend here, it's my responsibility too to take care of yours?"
Rey was again stabbed by pain… Her brother's best friend…. And nothing else… he wants her to hold his hand, he wants to be looked after by her, he wants to give himself to her, and she'll take care of him… but in this way… no… he doesn't wants it as her brother's best friend… he wants her as his love.
"No…it's fine… it would be enough…"he said roughly and was about to turn away, Taani too was about to turn away towards the slab of the kitchen when rey's eyes noticed something, and popped out in fear…
"TAANI…. "he screamed with a voice full of pain and extreme fear… and pulled her roughly towards himself.
