Chapter 1- Meet Arnav

11th December 2011

Hey...Second Best-Friend.

I know.I know.I have not been communicating with You the past 10 days.

What to do?

Exams.Exams.Exams.

And if that was not enough.

Khushi.Khushi.Khushi.

And No...I am not complaining for the last part.

I actually love writing about Khushi on Your blank pages.

You let Me communicate my feelings about
Khushi which I cannot possibly tell the world and even to Khushi.

Khushi is My Best Friend.

My source of Complete Happiness.

Actually the only Best Friend who understands Me more than Myself.

She has been My Best Friend since the day I laid my eyes on Her.

We have an amazing Friendship bond built over the last few years.

I remember It was the first day of High school when We first met and I knew it then That She is the Girl who had a golden heart.

I had entered the class and checked the Seating Plan tacked on the notice board.

According to the Plan..A Girl was supposed to sit next to Me- Khushi Kumari Gupta.

I could see a pair of expressive eyes and a very beautiful smile welcome Me to my place.

She sat beside Me according to the seating plan and gave Me a bright smile as If We knew each other too well.

"Hey...I am Arnav Singh Raizada.You are?" I had said while thrusting my hand forward.

Khushi did not respond but shook my hand firmly then took out her Notepad from the Desk.

'Hi...I am Khushi Kumari Gupta.Its going to be nice knowing You.'...She wrote.

Weird.

She could have said this sentence aloud.

"Can We Be Friends?" I said after a while.

'Sure.We can be Best Friends.'...Khushi wrote.

Best Friends?

Whoaa...This Girl is surely something unusual.

And What's with the writing?

Is She Joking with Me?

My thoughts were crashed by a loud rasping voice.

"Class...We are now going to do the most important part of the first day of school...INTRODUCTIONS!" The teacher had screamed to make herself heard over the din of noise in the class.

I hated this part and looked at Khushi who had a similar expression of terror on her face.

'Arnav...Just Tell something about Yourself.Dont worry.' Khushi wrote.

"Khushi..Why are You not speak-.." I started but was cut off by the Teacher's loud yell.

"Arnav..You may start."

"Hello Everyone.I am Arnav Singh Raizada.I am 16 Years old." I had said.

"OK..Welcome Arnav.Khushi...You are next..oh..No..Sorry." The teacher said with a sympathetic voice.

What's wrong?

Why is Khushi not getting up for introductions.?

Something is up.

"Everyone...This is Khushi Kumari Gupta.Welcome Khushi." The Teacher smiled.

"Why can't She do her Introduction herself? Scared, Are We?" A Guy with floppy hair said from behind making the class erupt in laughter.

I could feel anger seep into my mind.

Khushi could have done her introduction herself.

I looked at her with a confused expression to see that a lone tear had flown down her cheek.

"Khushi..What happened?" I said calmly.

'Sorry...' Khushi wrote shortly.

"Shyam...Keep Quiet.I have done Khushi's introduction.We can now proceed over to the other students." The teacher yelled at the Guy with the floppy hair.

"But Why does She not open Her Mouth...Lost our voice have We?" Shyam yelled.

A tiny gasp escaped Khushi's mouth and tears started spilling down again.

Something clicked in my mind and the puzzle started falling into place.

"Shut Up!...You are not going to say another word from Your mouth about My Best Friend! " I hollered while standing up and glaring at the visibly shocked Shyam.

All 30 pair of eyes in the class were locked on Us with their jaws dropped.

'Thank You'...Khushi wrote back while her lips displayed a very beautiful smile.

That Beautiful smile still remains etched on the expanse of my heart.

Khushi was the quietest girl with the most expressive eyes.

Khushi was a Girl who was made imperfectly by God just to perfect my Life.

Yes...Khushi was a Mute Girl.

Okay...I flowed away in the emotions of our friendship and this made Me forget that I have to go meet 'Happiness'...

Yes.That is My nickname for Khushi Kumari Gupta.

More Later.:)

the first few lines only took me by surprise..

i thought it was Khushi writing.. but nop it was arnie...😲😲😲

ohk so i just finished reading the update.. i trust me di i loved it like anything... 🤗

it was damn fascinating...

i didnt blink my eyes even for a second or typed anything... coz i had on "DO NOT DISTURB" board on me tab... 😳

their First meeting was so perfect...

n possessive arnav in first update itself...

oh ho .. kya baat hai... ☺️☺️☺️

I wont say any oh no etc etc for khushi (arnav seh pitna nahi hai mujhe 😛)... I simply LOVED HER.. <3 <3 <3 n i swear i mean it .. ☺️

now i m really curious to read further

p.s. kiski himmat to bash ur character... agar anybody does just tell me .. ur legal lawyer will be at ur service 😳

p.p.s:i gotta feeling that Khushi will speak may be now or at the end .. cant say.. bt waiting...
