Chapter 2- Meet Khushi.

11th December 2011

Hello My in-animate Best Friend!<3

You are the only one apart from Arnav who knows my feelings which I cannot possibly tell out loud.

Arnav Singh Raizada was My only Friend in this whole wide world.

Actually He is my Best Friend and always has been.

For years, In school I had never talked to anyone.

I did not want to know anyone.

No one knew what My voice sounded like except my family.

Everyone thought...I was a Mute.

But No...I pretended to be a Mute girl.

I just wanted to be a wallflower because...Never Mind.

I can't possibly go into the details which I have written on Your pages already.

But Arnav Singh Raizada entered My Life and I felt noticed.

I felt like I could not possibly be a wallflower for Life.

Arnav Singh Raizada changed Me.

He accidently came to know How I was not a mute.

Flashback---

One Day...We were walking towards the Library for reference work.

He forgot to see his step and was going to fall face down.

I actually screamed 'Arnav' and lunged forward to grab his arm.

The look on his face was worth a million.

His wide eyes made the situation comical.

"Oh...Someone does know how to speak and was faking it all this while!" Arnav taunted Me.

I kept my mouth shut.

"Khushi...Please open your mouth and let Me hear Your beautiful voice because I know You can speak." Arnav coaxed.

"Arnav." I whispered softly to witness Arnav's stunned face.

"Khushi..You can actually speak.I knew it.I knew it." Arnav said hugging Me tightly.

"How did You know?" I said suspiciously.

"I staged my fall today because I heard You speaking to Someone on your phone yesterday."

"Oh...You could have done this without so much drama." I said smacking his arm.

Flashback ends---

Arnav Singh Raizada made Me talk in front of the class once He was convinced that I was not mute.

Everyone was shocked.

Ah! Shocked would be an underrated word.

No one had heard me speak and their fallen jaws had made Me giggle hard.

Arnav changed Me.

I started making Friends.

I became an extrovert.

I started getting noticed.

But in all this newness the only thing that kept Me grounded was that Arnav was by My side.

Arnav Made Shyam apologize to Me.

Me & Shyam became Good Friends.

Yeah. Strange.

But the fact is that, Arnav changed me from top to toe.

In fact, Arnav changed Me so Much that Shyam just dumped Me today.

Yeah.Right.

Shyam Jha- My once-sworn enemy, then good friend, then Boy-Friend and now Ex-Boyfriend.

Ok..So this is how Shyam just dumped Me-

"Khushi...I am breaking up with You." Shyam said after college today.

"What? I think I just did not hear it right?" I said even though I heard every word perfectly.

"I AM BREAKING UP WITH YOU!!" Shyam said each word separately.

"Why is that?" I said incredulously.

He dared to dump Me.

When it should have been the other way round!

"Do not misunderstand Me,Khushi. But I am not 'Him'." Shyam explained apologetically.

"What do You mean by 'Him'?" I said in confusion.

"I am not Arnav.I can never be like Him. I can never reach your expectations." Shyam said as He walked away.

Truth to be said, I was hurt.

Anyway..My devil brother was waiting for Me when I reached Home.

"So...I can see that look which says 'I-just-got-dumped'." Aakash said while He was lounging in front of the TV screen.

"Who told You?" I stared at him.

"A little birdie...Anyway, Why did You date Him anyway?" Aakash said keeping his hand on my shoulder.

"Because He has something in common with Arnav." I said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Duh...If You really like Arnav so much...Why don't you date Him?" Aakash said in an equally superior voice.

"Ewww...Best Friends don't date Best Friends." I explained.

"What kind of rule is that?" Aakash said looking around in confusion.

"It's not a written rule.If Arnav was here, He would kill you for suggesting this." I said smacking his arm.

"I really doubt that." Aakash whispered.

"I heard that.Speaking of Arnav, I am just going to text Him." I said flipping out my phone.

'I am back Home.See You in 10 Minutes.Btw, Just got dumped :') - Happiness.'

Message Sent.

Text Message from Arnav

'OK.See You in 10 minutes.Btw, He better save himself Tomorrow :O -Arnav.'

So this was my day in a nutshell...I will just go and get ready.

Arnav will be here any minute.

Absolutely No one read the First chapter carefully I think...Because It was written in Past tense.

Remember Arnav's last statement, "Khushi was a Mute Girl."

So...the Bottom Line is that this is yet another Love Story/Humor Genre..:P
