"Okay class, so the topic for today is 'LOVE'" said Ms Lucky. While all the boys hooted and howled, all the girls started blushing and nudging each other. "Oh control your hormones Benjy!" yelled Ms Lucky. Everybody started laughing and once again poor Benjy turned purple. Ms Lucky walked around and stopped right in front of Arnav. She took his basketball from his hand and said "So Arnav, what is Love to you and describe it in one word." While all the girls blushed, the guys started teasing him and he just smirked widely and turned towards Khushi. She saw him looking and shook her head and turned the other way. He continued to look at her and he said "Well to be honest, Love is friendship for me'.." with that Khushi looked at him and widened her eyes and turned a shade of red. "And if I had to describe it in one word then I would say that Love if Passionate for me'" Arnav continued. All the girls were turning red and giggling while all the guys tried to take it as an opportunity to flirt with the girls but their focus was only on Arnav. Khushi knew he had indirectly said that to her but she smirked and pretended to not care. "Hmmm well done Arnav, Love is friendship and Love is Passionate..Not bad I must say." Said Ms Lucky, Arnav grinned widely. Ms Lucky moved on towards the girls and said "Well now that we have an answer from a boy, let's get one from the girls. Hmm let's see, aaah Khushi!" Khushi looked up shocked and said "Me?" "Yes, so Khushi what is love to you and describe it in one word." While the girls rolled their eyes, the guys just stared at her. She looked at Arnav and said "Love is unexplainable, I don't think there is a particular word anybody could use to describe it because it is different for everybody, but if I had to use one word, I would say that Love is Intoxicating." Arnav smirked and winked at Khushi which made her roll her eyes. Sheetal was watching all of this and she didn't like it one bit!. Ms Lucky walked up to Khushi and said "Bravo! Bravo! Excellent, hmmm, Passionate and Intoxicating, strong words I must mention. Well done to both of you!" They both smiled and looked away. "Okay so now that we have a few options, let's take it to pairs! I am going to split you kids into pairs, one girl and one boy. I will mix all of your names here and whoever you choose will be your partner for the rest of the year and no changes will be accepted! If you don't like the person, just deal with it!" Ms lucky said with a sarcastic smile. She soon mixed up the girls names in one box and the boys names in another box. One by one everybody came and picked their partners. Sheetal ended up with Kabir and Tanya ended up with Benjy who had a major crush on her, so he was extremely happy. It was Khushi's turn and she picked out the number 6. She held up the number and turned it look at the name. Her jaw dropped and she was shocked. Ms Lucky asked her to read the name out so she said "Urm my card is a number 6 and my partner is urm Arnav'" Arnav who was intently watching everything, beamed widely at the mention of his name so he soon got up and went to her side and said loudly "So I guess you are just stuck with me for the rest of the year huh Munchkin?" Khushi bit her lip from smiling and said sarcastically "Unfortunately yes'" Everybody laughed and they took their places next to each other.

"So the challenge today is to come up with a Love story and act it out in front of all of us and a little tip, if you end up making me cry, it's a good thing! Now chop chop folks!" said Ms Lucky.

"So Munchkin what are we going to do?" asked a very flirtatious Arnav. Khushi looked up and said "look I am only working with you because we are partners so don't get the wrong idea okay?" Arnav's heart twisted with hurt but he didn't show t instead he kept the smile up and said "No probs Munchkin, you are still my munchkin and we are only English partners alright." Khushi nodded and thought to herself 'Arnav I know you are hurt and disappointed, even though you don't want to admit it, I can see it through you but Im sorry, I just need time''. They got back to work. Arnav and Khushi agreed on a story and got working on the script. The bell rang and everybody started packing up. Ms Lucky yelled out saying "Kids the deadlines for your performance is next week so be prepared!" Khushi grabbed her bag and walked out of class. Arnav soon grabbed his books and followed her. He poked her and said "What up munchkin?" Khushi rolled her eyes and said "are you following me?" Arnav smirked and said "as much as I would love to , no, I am not following you, it's just that we both have sports now." Khushi blushed and said "oh yeah urmm that." "So munchkin what sports do you play?" Khushi looked at him and said "Oh I do all but I love basketball, soccer and swimming." "I thought you would go for cheerleading?" Khushi snorted and said "Cheerleading seriously? Only the girls who love to show off their asses do cheerleading, it's a piece of cake, I used to do gymnastics back in London so I do have a little training in that department but I prefer full on sports. BB is the best." Arnav smiled and said "Alright then munchkin, you owe me a match'" Khushi grinned and said "Fine Arnav. Hey I will see you later, I have basketball try outs right now, see you later." Arnav smiled watching her walk away. Try outs were going to be fun.

Khushi frantically changed into her sportswear. She wore silk white shorts and her Manchester united jersey with sneakers, tied her hair up and walked to the court. She went to the girl and asked for the info. The girl told her to go stand in the line. All the girls were staring at her in a weird way but Khushi just ignored it and focused on her stats. She saw Sheetal walking up to them and looked at Khushi and said "So you are trying out for the BB team? Seriously?" all the girl's laughed. Khushi rolled her eyes and said "Why? You got a prob with that? You can't even hold the ball and you're commenting on others." Sheetal huffed and walked away. A girl in front of Khushi turned around and said "Hello, I'm Misha, you are Khushi right?" Khushi smiled and said "Yep, hi Misha!" "Just to let you know, nobody speaks to Sheetal like that, but I will salute you for standing up for us, thank you buddy!" "Aaah no prob, I am defo not scared of these bitches." They talked for little more until the line started moving and Khushi was just grateful that she finally made a friend other than Mr know it all Raizada.

It was Khushi's turn to try out so she went in to the court. She saw Kabir there and went up to him and said "Hey urm im here for try outs, where should I go?" Kabir looked at her and raised his eyebrows but before he could say something'. "right here munchkin.." Khushi turned to the person who said that and her jaw dropped. Arnav was standing there in all his glory. He wore a pair of rugged jeans and a grey tank, his hair was slicked back from all the sweat and he had a basket ball in his hands. "Hey munchkin come with me'" "Wait what are you doing here?" Khushi asked. Arnav grinned and said "Munchkin I happen to be the captain of the basketball team in Mount High." Khushi's jaw dropped even more and she just said "Oh'" He held her hand and took her to the front and told her to sit and wait for her turn. She didn't say know so she just watched.

She now realized that all the girls who were trying out for the team were just there because they wanted to play with Arnav and grab his attention. She swallowed a giggle when she saw a girl trying to catch the ball but she pretended to fall so that he would catch her and he did. As soon as he held the girl, Khushi started feeling a sense of insecurity, she started feeling jealous! 'what the hell is wrong with you kkg? Why are you feeling awkward? Its not like you own him or something!!' khushi thought. As if Arnav felt her insecurity, he soon turned towards her and saw her looking down awkwardly. He smirked knowing the effect on her. He told Kabir to take care of the girl and Arnav walked up to Khushi and said "Hey munchkin, its your turn." She looked up and sighed, finally relieved that she gets to play this time. All the girls who had just come for Arnav stared at her and giggled, she noticed it and just rolled her eyes and jumped on the court. Arnav threw her the ball and she caught it flawlessly. "Hmm im impressed munchkin!" arnav commented. Khushi rolled her eyes and said "oh trust me this is nothing." "I guess we are going to have a lot of fun aren't we?" said Arnav, "You bet Raizada."

Khushi had the ball in her hands so she ran up to the net all the while dribbling the ball and she tried to shoot but before she could Arnav came up behind her and picked her up from behind and distracted her by blowing all over her face and grabbed the ball. It took only a few seconds for Khushi to notice what he was doing so she smacked his arm and said "That's not fair!" Arnav smirked and shot a hoop and yelled out "EVERYTHING'S FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR MUNCHKIN!" He laughed and threw her the ball while she caught it but shook her head while a smile threatened her face. She took advantage of the situation and dribbled the ball to her side but Arnav was faster, he was running behind her for the ball when her hair brushed across his face and his breath hitched. She smelled like strawberry and cotton candy with a hint of Vanilla. She smelled amazing. Both of them shared and eye-lock and Khushi took it as an opportunity and grabbed the ball from him and soon shot a hoop. She dried her hands and grinned widely towards Arnav. "1 to 1 Raizada." Arnav just smirked and raised his hands in the air and let it fall. "You really are a munchkin aren't you?" "You bet!"

The continued playing for another 20 minutes and by the end of the game, Khushi had shot 6 hoops while Arnav was on 5. Khushi won the game much to Arnav's delight. He was happy seeing her happiness. Arnav was the best basketball player in M.H, no one could beat him. Everybody feared him on the courts and he hated to lose. Let me repeat that, Arnav Singh Raizada HATED to lose, but today he didn't mind it and that too for a girl. What was happening to him?

"Welcome to Mount High's Spartans munchkin!" Arnav said while he ruffled her hair. Her heart started doing salsa at the touch of him. What was happening to her?
