Thank you so much for the update.
Loved it.
Two thoughts came to my mind...

First...Aarav can sense the tense atmosphere between his parents and so he is acting out to get attention...he wants to be assured that they still love him and he wants his life back to normal...because for kids their whole world is their parents until they get to the adolescence age.

Second...I am not sure if this can be a possibility - 95 % not...but Arnav said he wanted to win khushi back...so he could have asked aarav to kinda act up...but as i m typing right now...it does not seem possible...it would be really mean...so scratch the second possibility...but i wrote it here anyways...

lovely updates...

cannot wait for the next part...

i don't think what Arnav did was right.. did he think that he might be engaged to lavanya? with the ring on his finger..

apart from that.. I loved the update.. Khushi's frustration and what she has become after Arnav left.. it is hard for her..

In midst of their fight or cold war.. the one suffering is Aarav and that is in the frame now as well.. poor kid.. he lost his dad.. now that he has got his dad back.. it looks like he has lost both..

Arnav's attempt to understand and salvage the situation is good.. but he needs to understand.. he was not able to remove the ring then why didn't he clear things with his family before committing in a relationship.. wasn't he the person who had commitment issues before he was with Khushi.. so he has to agree what he did was wrong.. and Khushi is not wrong in how she feels..

I am so involved in the story girl.. beautifully written..

I'm going to come back with more random thoughts after I read the prequel properly coz I only skimmed through it as I found the sequel so fascinating and wanted to have context.. for the record, when our dear creatives ran out of ideas, this was the perfect plot they could've used to give our lead his (frequently) well deserved break and yet have a gripping tale to tell..

I love the sequel for another reason.. while I'm all for the selfless Khushi, I am also a sucker for the selfless Khushi who is also the self respecting Khushi - the original one.. who used to stand up to Arnav and give it back to him when he was being a jerk.. not the one who is self sacrificing and a push over to the point of being boring.. so I love how she isn't just entirely letting the Joannie issue go.. coz it's not about Sheetal or Joannie or the fact that he did not have a physical relationship with either of them.. it's so much more.. it's about how he is unwilling to make an attempt to understand her when she is always understanding such a complex and mostly not very pleasant person as him..

Even now with the issue of Aarav, he is again being as illogical as ever.. what is he so irked about the drums and the basketball?! Did he conveniently forget that Aarav in fact is not his biological son and that those could be things that Sheetal had "trained/instructed" Aarav to pretend to love/do (among other things like diabetes) so as to show a connection with Arnav.. the real Aarav may never have loved those to begin with!

Your Arnav and Khushi are, in my opinion, the original ones.. the selfless towards the family, yet self respecting-towards-Arnav Khushi.. the illogical-when-it-comes-to-Khushi Arnav who only has her in his heart and yet is always unwittingly hurting her and then hating himself for it.. it's the whole vintage-ness of it all that drew me to this..

I'll be back to edit/create a new post coz I know I have so many more thoughts.. but, no promises on when that will be.. I've been on a whirlwind work situation for months now and already owe the 2 other FF writers I follow long apologies for my absence! Not to mention, I've to catch up on those FFs! But, I'm again going to be traveling until new year, so apologies!
