'It's been two weeks and I'm still stuck here!' Arnav pointed out crisply as he harshly sat himself on the sofa of his living room, NK planting himself on the opposite seat.
'We've been hunting him down for two weeks and there are a few traces of him. The police are looking as well after that event with Khushi and they located the city he's in. We need to be patient and hopefully he should be caught within a day or two at the maximum so relax' NK explained to his little brother. They had spent two weeks trying to locate and hunt down Shyam so they could get him behind bars again. The police department had only just located the city he was in a few days ago, which made the boys slightly vivacious and all the more determined to find Shyam in the next few days. Arnav nodded and looked down at his feet despondently not really keen on believing his brothers words.
'Arnav, its okay. We'll find him and when we do you can leave for Lucknow within the hour of it. You've lost her once and you can't let it happen again. She's our Bhabi and I seriously think she deserves a little more happiness. I'm saying this again, we are here with Di so why don't you go Arnav? I'm pretty sure we'd be able to handle it' NK proposed offering him once again out of the numerous times he had done so before
'Yeah Bhai, you should go. We've almost got a lock on him now so there's no trouble that could happen. Go for it' Akash said walking in on their conversation and sitting down. Arnav looked at them with seriousness as he paid full interest to their propositions
'You really think so?' Arnav asked hopefully, his brothers both nodded at him in unison
'Now's your chance Arnav, don't waste it' NK told maturely, Arnav smiled slightly and stood up quickly
'I'll leave tonight then' Arnav stated, a happier vibe to his voice, NK stood up with him
'Good, we'll handle it here' He assured referring to Akash and himself, Arnav smiled and hugged his older brother
'Thanks' He mumbled
'You're welcome little brother'

'Jiji! Hurry up with the popcorn! The films starting!' Khushi called from the living room as she clicked play on the DVD player
'Khushi calm down, we've seen this film loads of times, but you still force me to watch it again' Payal moaned walking in with the popcorn
'Okay fine, what do you want to do then?' Khushi said trying to please her sister
'Can we just talk about why you're here? And that too for so long. You've been avoiding it since the brief interaction on your first day here' Payal asked, Khushi let out a breath and looked at her sister honestly
'What do you want to know Jiji?' Khushi proposed calmly
'I want to know why you havn't gone back after two weeks Khushi. You told me you were upset but was it that serious?' Payal asked with full concern
'Well, he didn't bother to call or text me at all. I left because I felt he didn't care about me, and that's what keeps proving itself to be true. If he'd care slightly he would of tried to contact me at least once' Khushi said heartlessly, she was drained and despondent because of Arnav's lack of response to her behavior.
'Khushi you shouldn't take it to heart! He's probably not the type to go around expressing his feelings like anybody's business. I personally think you shouldn't go that hard on him. Being expressive is not in men's nature, try to understand' Payal explained soothingly stroking Khushi's hair as she put her head in her lap
'I understand Jiji, but as my husband, some expressiveness does need to be shown' Khushi whispered drowsily clearly deprived of her wants. She wasn't asking for so much from him, just a little bit of concern and love and that would be more then enough to last her a lifetime.
'Khushi, everyone requires time to open up to people and I guess he made that little more time then you did. Don't jump to conclusions and judge him for not loving you, just be a little more patient and I know you'll get even better then you deserve' Payal assured her sister, Khushi gave her an understanding nod and fell into wonder about what her sister had just said to her. It was true, maybe she was jumping to conclusions a little bit about this whole situation; maybe time was all they needed.

Arnav had been driving alone for a few hours now, just a single hour away from Lucknow now, thankfully. The whole way Arnav whipped up ideas of things he could do to prove himself to Khushi, to show her that he cared and loved her way more then he was given credit for. Arnav tapped his fingertips on the brim of the steering wheel as his mind was wrapped in thoughts, coming to his last resort he grabbed his phone and called his Nani, she'd definitely know what to say.
-Hello
-Hi Nani, it's me Arnav
-Chote? How are you, have you reached Lucknow yet?
-I'm fine Nani, im just an hour away now
-Oh that's good
-Yeah, but anyway Nani, I wanted to ask you something
-Sure Chote, what would you like to know?
-Well Nani, when you said I should do little things to win her over; what did you mean by that?
-Chote, little things come from your heart, whatever you feel like saying or doing don't hold back just let your feelings show. I know you're the very kudos type so be a little bit soft, gentle but most importantly, open with her
-Yeah, I guess your right. Thanks Nani
-Anytime beta
Arnav hung up the phone to find himself coming to terms with Nani's speech. He's going to have to be more open and that scared him lightly; the last time Arnav was oen was before his parents left. After that he closed himself off and wasn't to keen on being open; sure time to time he would say 'I love you' to Khushi but did that really mean something to her if it was only said, not felt? No, it was only fair. Khushi was going to be his wife and he had the perfect plan for this holiday. Arnav smiled as he pulled a small box out of his pocket. He flipped the lid open to real a sterling silver ring with a beautiful crystal sitting elegantly on the ring. On the rim of it was 'A+K' engraved perfectly. He was determined to win her over on this trip so he could peacefully put the ring on her finger knowing there was no doubt in her mind; knowing that she was fully aware of his love. It was now or never he thought.

'Bua ji! Dinner is ready, come and eat' Khushi called from the dinning table as she laid the food down on the table, Payal helping along side her. Within the same moment there as an anonymous knock on the door, Payal looked at Khushi puzzled
'Who could it be at this time?' Payal asked wondering
'I'm not quite sure, let me go and check' Khushi said uncertainly as she walked to the door. She walked over and opened the large brown doors to find a colossal bouquet in her face, hiding a figure behind it. Khushi stared at it puzzled before the person moved the roses out of the way. Khushi's breath got caught in the air as she saw her Arnav standing before her with the dazzling smile he had on his face. Khushi hadn't realized till this very moment how much she truly had missed him.
'A-a-arnav?' Khushi managed croakily, quite much still in shock, Arnav smirked and stepped in to the home standing close in front of her
'Hey beautiful' Arnav spoke huskily; Khushi's heart dropped. His charm was not working today, he didn't care to contact her for two weeks and suddenly he think he could show up because he felt like it. Khushi frowned in annoyance and turned away from him heading back towards the dining room, Arnav jogged quickly behind her and slid his free hand around her waist, circling her onto his chest.
'What are you doing! Bua ji will see' Khushi gasped, searching for her family as she tugged at his hand. Arnav softly leaned in and kissed her forehead
'I've missed you so much Khushi' Arnav told her disheartened. Khushi gulped as she slowly lifted her gaze to his face
'You clearly didn't' Khushi said, hinting at his late arrival before she fled from his arms, still bitter for him. Arnav smiled slightly
'All in good time Khushi, I'll make up for my mistakes'
