Chapter 8 -
Arnav, Khushi, Arjun and Aarti were standing in front of Shantivan. Khushi was a bit nervous to meet everyone after eight years. Arnav had told her everything that had happened, but still, she was nervous. Arjun and Aarti was wondering how their family would be. They knew they had cousin brother here. They were also informed about all the family members, except Shyam. They all entered the house.
They were welcomed by Nani who did ther "aarti". The whole Raizada and Gupta families were present there. Everyone rushed to meet Khushi. They had missed her all these years. There was an exchange hugs and tears. Anjali apologised to Khushi to which Khushi hugged her. Everyone was happy to know that Khushi forgave Anjali. Arnav too came forward and hugged his sister. Everyone was emotional seeing the brother and sister re unite. Suddenly,
Arjun - What the!
Everyone gave Arjun a shocked look.
Arjun - Yeh koi TV serial thodi na hai jo sab itne ro rahe hai,
Aarti glared at him and smacked his arms.
Arjun - Aww..
Aarti - Chup.
Nani smiled and came towards the kids.
Nani - (holding Arjun) Aap bilkul apni Papa ki jaise ho, aur aap (holding Aarti) bilkul apni Ma ki jaisi.
They smiled at her. Nani hugged them and they hugged her back.
Then the twins were pulled into a series of hugs by every family member. Aarti was emotional but Arjun heaved sigh of relief when the series of hugs were over.
Then came the youngest member, Prem. He came to Arjun and Aarti.
Prem - Welcome home, Di, Bhai.
Anjali, Arnav and Akash exchanged smiles.
Prem hugged Aarti and she hujgged him back and said 'Thank You'. Then he hugged Arjun who replied a 'Thanks dude'.
Everyone smiled seeing the young Raizadas bonding. Khushi rushed to Prem and pulled him into a warm hug.
Khushi - Aap hume jaante ho?
Prem - Haan...Maasi.
Khushi smiled and kissed him. She hugged all the three children together.
Later -
The welcoming function was over and the family had their dinner. Everyone was in the living room. Arjun and Aarti were sitting with Aakash and Payal and Prem was between Arnav and Khushi. Khushi was sitting near her Babuji.
Khushi - Babujji, hum bohot khush hai ki aap theek hai.
Shashi - Tum aur bache waapas aayi ho bitiya ab sab kuch theek hoga.
Aakash - Maine kal ek party rakhi hai. The junior ASR s needs a grand welcome, isn't it? He asked Arjun.
Arjun nodded excitedly.
Mami - Hello Hi Bye Bye! Party!! kitne din ho gayi hai party ka naam sunke. hume tho kal subah hi beauty parlour jaana hai.
The kids chuckled at her words.
Mama - Ab sab thak gaye honge, chalo so jaate hai.
Arnav - Buaji, Maine aap sab ke liye guest rooms tayaar ki hai, aap aaj yahi rajiye.
Buaji - Theek hai babua.
Nani - Aaj theeni bacho mere saath soyenge. Aaj mujhe apni bachon ko kahani sunane ka maan kar rahe hai.
The kids eagerly went with her. Arnav gave a naughty smirk to Khushi which she understood. She smiled shyly.
Khushi was emotional seeing their old room. How she left it before eight years when her kids were still in her womb. Arnav came towards her and wiped her tears.
Arnav - Purani baathe bhool jaao Khushi. I don't want to see you sad.
Khushi nodded and smiled.
Arnav - Waise...hum dono ne bohot saal waste kiya hai. We have to start from now to make up for it.
Khushi lightly hit his chest to which he laughed.
She leaned forward and kissed his lips. He pulled her closer kissing her back. While kissing he pulled her to bed.
They spent a passionate night making love to each other.
