PART FIVE : - Jealousy, Taunts, self realization & sacrifice…
Listening to her question mihika's eyes became moist & she turned back to cover her tears… she kept quiet without answering her…But Dhuru couldn't notice that…and casually she started speaking…
Dhuru – Mihika…hume pata hai ki tum nishabdh kyun ho…koi gupt karya ki karan hai na…?
Actually Mihika did'nt want to reveal the truth behind her absence for two days…so, she simply continued what dhuru imagined…she wiped her tears and turned towards dhuru…
Mihika – hun….hun Maharani ji…gupt karya hi hai…now, she was'nt even able to look straight at dhuru & speak…so she lowered her eyes…But dhuru was in no mood to grasp mihika's inner emotions at that time as she was very excited & was on her toes for the marriage with her beloved samrat…she went ahead & held Mihika's shoulders…
Dhuru – hmmm …dekho hume gyat tha…yeh sab chodo…Mihika aaj hamara vivah hone wala hai…! Voh bhi hamare….hamare chandragupt ke sath…!! Hum atyant sanstusht hai aaj…itna aanand kabhi hamare jeevan me nahi mila…!! Her face bloomed with joy & excitement…she was overwhelmed…
But mihika who was listening all these was standing still like a doll, without any expression or movement in her face… she was just observing dhuru when she was talking…she could clearly see dhuru's love for chandu in her eyes when she pronounced "hamare…hamare chandragupt ke sath…!" these words hit her ears like a huge storm & caused a sudden sensation in her spine… she was taken a back for a second & seemed to be shattered…now, as she was'nt speaking anything, dhuru sensed that something was wrong with mihika…as she never used to behave like this in past…so, she lightly shaked her…
Dhuru – mihika…kaha ho…? Kuch samasya hai kya…?? She asked her with concern…this made mihika to regain her real senses…
Mihika – hun….hun Maharani ji…koi samasya nahi hai…voh toh… before she could complete a dasi entered the room…
Dasi – kshama kare Maharani ji…kintu aapko vivah mandap me bula rahe hai acharya…she said and went away… Now this was a nice chance for Mihika to change the topic…she forcefully brought a smile on her face & looked at dhuru…
Mihika –Maharani ji…dekhiye ab vivah ka samay ho raha hai…chaliye main le chalti hu apko…
Dhuru – ruko….!!
Mihika – jee…..kya hua…? She was shocked for a sec as she thought that dhuru got to know about her…
Dhuru – hume ek bar darpan me apne apko dekhne toh do…ki hum kaise lag rahe hai aakhir jeevan me… ek hi bar hoti hai vivah…! She just said casually & moved near the huge mirror…but on the other hand dhuru's words "aakhir jeevan me… ek hi bar hoti hai vivah…!" sounded like very hard taunts to mihika…she looked up at dhuru…she was busy in making all her ornaments correct…she was smiling & being shy to herself while looking in the mirror, may be she was thinking of her samrat! all these gestures of dhuru were like torture for mihika…she herself could'nt understand what was happening to her…
Mihika ( in mind ) – yeh kya ho raha hai mujhe…? Kyun maharani ki har e k baat mujhe buri lag rahi hey…aisa man vichalit ho raha hai ki jaise aaj mera sab kuch anth ho raha hai…!! Sab kuch jaante hue bhi mera hruday yeh kyun chah raha hai…? Jo main ichha karti hu voh kabhi bhi nahi ho sakta…! Acharya kya sochenge…!! Nahi…yeh paap hai…Maharani mujhe apni atyant priya sakhi maanti hai…kintu…mera bhi koi astitva hai…mera bhi hruday hai…main bhi prem karti hu…Chandragupt se…!! A silent tear rolled down from her eye…she again looked at dhuru, she was still getting herself ready…she was able to hear the chanting of mantras from the marriage hall….those mantras alerted her mind again…
Mihika ( in mind ) – nahi…main itni swarthy nahi ban sakti…Acharya,Maharani aur samrat ko vishwas ghaat nahi kar sakti…nahi…kabhi nahi…kintu mera prem aur astitva…?? A big question mark appeared in her mind, she wiped her tears…by then dhuru came near her…mihika noticed her & before dhuru could tell anything she started…
Mihika – Wah…Maharani ji…aap prapanch ke atyant sundari lag rahi hai…devlok ke apsara jaisi…Samrat apko dekh ke achet ho jayenge…! Hehehe…she praised her instantly…
Dhuru – arre…hamare Samrat toh shaktishali hai…veh hamare soundarya par aise acheth nahi honge…sakshat apsara ke soundarya par bhi nahi…hehehe….hum jaante hai hamare samrat ko…chale…? Again dhuru's words felt like taunting to mihika eventhough she had said casually…
